No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

Chapter 166

Cedric sat in the passenger seat and glanced at her through the mirror. "It's not too late now."

Noelle was relaxed. "Right, there's something I find weird. Why would he decide to not to take legal action against us? He also didn't need us to apologize."

Alfred said unnaturally, "It was Justin who made the first move. He must've suddenly realized it was his problem."

"Is that the case?"

Noelle thought it seemed a little off.

Based on her understanding of Justin from her last life, he wasn't that magnanimous of a person. However, this could be because of Xenia. After all, she'd deployed all her tactics to make a good impression with Justin.

When she got back to her apartment in the afternoon, her phone kept ringing. Upon seeing that it was Lucas calling, she blocked him. The world suddenly fell silent.

Noelle knew what Lucas wanted to say, but she didn't want to hear from him at all.

She logged into the game and formed a team with two others.

At night, she planned to livestream her Player Kill Match.

If she won tonight, she would be ranked first.

However, after beginning her stream, Rachel texted her and said, "Queen, Xenia

is spreading misinformation about you in her steam."

"What's she saying?"

"She accused you of pissing off your brother so much he had to be hospitalized. Xenia also said you were ungrateful."

This was all Xenia could do.

Noelle didn't pay her any attention. She streamed as scheduled. There were people who came in and left nasty comments, but her fans chased them out.

Noelle put all her focus into gaming and felt satisfied when she finally got first place.

While she was resting, someone spammed, "Why are you not answering the questions? Are you guilty?"

Noelle chuckled coldly. "Why would I

reply to your untrue accusations?

Just because a bitch sobs and

accuses me of something I haven't

done, all of you have

dinto

online judges. If you're so capable, you should just become detectives and cry at criminals."

"Don't change the topic. Answer the question."

Noelle glared at them and said, "Everyone knows that I've never been on good terms with the Liddells. I've never hidden this. I hereby announce that whatever happens with the Liddells have nothing to do with me. I rely on

myself at all times." noveldrama

Rachel helped her explain in the comment section, "Noelle has not been treated fairly. All her classmates know that."

"Now that Noelle has escaped them, they've come to guilt trip her after she got state valedictorian."

The comment section was distracted by this new information.

Her valedictorian interview was publicly available online. Noelle went viral once again.

When Xenia saw that the topics of discussions weren't as she

expected, she furiously stopped her stream. The number of her fans were declining. However, Noelle had been gaining followers.

Xenia was driven mad with jealousy. Couldn't Noelle just disappear from her life?

Her phone buzzed. "Xenia, is Noelle causing trouble for you? I can help you get rid of her."

When she saw the text, Xenia screamed. Hadn't she blocked him? Was he really her dad? How could that be possible?

"Xenia, what's wrong?"

Lucas walked in. Xenia switched her phone off. Lucas couldn't see this! She'd finally solidified her position in the Liddell family and didn't want to return to her life of poverty.
