With that, she turned around and walked straight toward the gaming training base. Blake fumed at her doubting words. Back then, he'd nearly been hacked to death while Noelle had turned and ran.

Seeing that Noelle left without a care, Xenia pretended to explain to the fans. "Don't misunderstand. Noelle has been really busy lately, and she hasn't resolved her conflicts with the Liddells. That's why she's acting this way."

Some fans were displeased. "But that shouldn't be the reason she acts so snub and makes the crew wait for her."

"Exactly. I saw her throwing a tantrum at Blake, too."

Xenia forced a sigh. "That's just how she is. We always let her have her way at home."

That was when Blake approached. "I'm sorry. Noelle's a little stubborn and not as considerate as Xenia, but she's really talented. I'm asking you all not to hate on her, for my sake."noveldrama

The fans saw Blake approach and instantly screamed in excitement. After greeting them with a smile, Blake led Xenia back under the sunshade. As he turned his head back to them, his expression darkened. "Who told you to talk nonsense?"

"I was just trying to explain on your behalf. Otherwise, Noelle's behavior would've had a negative impact on you."

"The worse Noelle treats me, the better it is for me," Blake explained. He'd spent years in the entertainment industry and knew exactly how this game worked.

Glaring at Xenia, he continued, "As for you, if I catch you pulling tricks like this again to smear Noelle's name, you can get the hell out of the Liddell family."

"Blake, I didn't mean to..."

Blake gripped her wrist tightly and lowered his voice. "You think I don't see through your little schemes? I would've taught you a lesson if there weren't people around."

Xenia endured the pain in her wrist and nodded pitifully. "I understand I've made a mistake. I won't do it again."

"There won't be a next time," Blake warned. He flung her hand away and immediately switched to his friendly demeanor. "My sister, Noelle, is here. Let's head over to the training base for the shoot."

Xenia stood frozen in place as she rubbed her sore wrist. She hadn't expected Blake to be this hard to deal with, but then again, he'd always ignored her ever since she was taken in by the Liddells.

If it weren't for the time Blake got injured and she instigated things by claiming Noelle escaped, he probably wouldn't have cast him a proper glance. But it didn't matter.

Once she became a famous and successful actress, no one would dare look down on her again. And that mama's boy, Justin, would have to publicly announce their relationship, too.

Ever since the bidding incident, Alfred must've said something to Justin's mother and forced Justin to break up with Xenia. The latter had been too much of a coward to resist, so now they could only pretend to have broken up and keep their relationship on the low.

As Noelle entered the base, she immediately noticed the cameras set up inside. It seemed that was where the crew was filming.

Grace approached her. "Are you okay? You don't look well."

"I'm fine. How's the training in the afternoon going?"

"Well, we were supposed to train, but the production crew wanted to shoot a scene instead. They've been teaching everyone how to act and coordinate, so training never happened."

Noelle's expression turned ice-cold.
