No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

"Starting today, you're no longer the major shareholder." Just then, Frank appeared in a wheelchair.

He looked grim. "Blake and I can transfer our shares to Noelle. That would make her the company's biggest shareholder."

The room gasped in shock.

Donovan's face fell, and he lowered his voice, "What exactly are you trying to do?"

He had never expected them to join forces against him!

Frank continued, "Donovan, are you sure you want to discuss this here? You're just embarrassing yourself."

Donovan clenched his jaw, then nodded stiffly before heading to the lounge with a stern look.

Noelle hadn't expected Frank to show up. Wasn't he being held captive by Donovan?

Blake turned to the onlookers. "I apologize for the spectacle. But Noelle will be managing the company from now on. You've all seen her screenwriting skills. I hope we can collaborate in the future."

Xenia was furious at Blake's declaration and stormed off after Donovan. Meanwhile, Noelle, Blake, and Frank moved to a quieter area.

Noelle looked at Frank in surprise. "How did you get here?"

"Blake sent people to look for me, and I rushed over immediately. There's no way we can let Xenia take over the company," Frank said. "Blake had shed blood, sweat, and tears for the company. But he hadn't expected Donovan to be this biased for Xenia.

Blake smiled bitterly. "We underestimated Xenia."

Frank turned to Noelle. "Noelle, don't worry. I'll always stand by your side."

Noelle didn't respond. Instead, she turned and walked toward the lounge. Blake pushed Frank's wheelchair as they followed.

Noelle entered the lounge first. She saw Xenia whispering something to Donovan. Donovan's gaze darkened at Noelle.

He stormed toward her, his voice laced with fury. "Noelle, I

underestimated you. Didn't you once storm out, swearing you had nothing to do with the Liddell family anymore?

"Yet now you came back to fight for the inheritance? Have you no shame?"

Noelle smirked. "And you knew full well that I wrote that script alone, yet you still tried to credit Xenia. Do you have any shame?"

Donovan faltered before snapping, "But Xenia contributed to the script, too! How could you humiliate her in front of everyone?"

"Swear on it, then. Swear that what you're saying is true. If you're lying, may the company go bankrupt, every project fails, and you lose everything." Noelle stared at him coldly. "Go on. Swear."

Donovan remained silent, his face twisting in anger. "You're being superstitious!"

"I'm superstitious? But you're not

swearing by it, either. That means

you know the truth." Noelle knew Donovan had done all this to rob her of what was rightfully hers and force her into submission.

However, he flipped the blame onto her instead. "Noelle, I wouldn't have had to do

this if you hadn't backed me into a corner!"

She chuckled. "Well, I only learned from the best." Noelle smiled triumphantly.

"Now, I'm the biggest shareholder. And your words mean nothing!"
