Chapter 7 Blow the Hospital Up

“Chairman.” Once he saw his master, the man who did not look at anyone squarely and whose face was originally cold his face turned to blow a crack for smile. His appearance was humble and he bent down and bowed, while the assistant behind him was more rigorous and seemed to be shaking.

Ava looked at the man who walked in through the front door, wearing a dark black trench coat with an open zipper, a black vest inside, and a shirt as white as snow with the collar exposed.

A dress like a son of the night, set off his stunningly handsome but excessively English handsome face.

His hunter-like eyes were locked in Ava’s body; and his high nose and the corners of the mouth, obviously slightly hooked, emitting a smile but evil and demonic regal.

His footsteps were elegant and noble, with a despicable aura, under the transparent gate mapping behind him. He was like a demon king who did not eat fire and smoke, stepped into it and stood in front of several people.

The long and strong body was obviously about the same height as Liam’s, but standing in front of Liam, the aura was like a night curtain, which enveloped the people in front of him and swallowed them up.

Ava watched him step closer to her, then her body involuntarily shivered, as the autumn breeze in the fallen leaves trembling, and her face suddenly became miserable white bleak.

He was the devil, the demon in her life, who seemed to come from the sky every time to sentence her to death, and she feared him as if she was afraid of death.

“Are you the chairman of Brown Group?” Liam looked at the man with a powerful aura in front of him and just felt that the air was a little oppressive. He had never seen such a man before, and when he appeared, it seemed that the air had changed along with him.

Noah ignored Liam and said to the man Ava had just spoken to, “Tonight, this place must be emptied, I hate it here, let’s not make it a hospital. I think it’s better to just blow it up and make a horse farm.” Noah’s eyes shifted from his subordinates to the surrounding buildings, and his eyes were full of arrogance, speaking as if he was not talking about the life and death of Lilac Hospital, but how he wanted a cup of coffee, easily and leisurely, but easily pushed Ava into hell.

“No way!” She’s keeping Lilac Hospital, she’s staying here!

Noah’s words were interrupted and his eyes withdrew, shooting like wolves at Ava’s body.

The man beside him, however, was suddenly sweating, and everyone knew that the devil-like boss hated nothing more than being interrupted when he was talking.

Noah’s eyes, like a knife, fell on Ava’s body.

Ava’s body, which was already shivering, suddenly felt as painful as if a knife had pierced it.

His sight was so sharp that she felt her soul was pierced. It hurt so much that she bit her lower lip and couldn’t say a word.

“Who are you?” Noah spoke as if he didn t know Ava, as if she’s not even human and didn t fit into his eyes.

Looking into his aggressive eyes, Ava only felt that the courage she had gathered before had disappeared.

He didn t know her? No way.

But now she really felt like she didn t know him.

He had obviously done the most intimate and lusty things with her, but she had never felt Noah this cold deep in his bones. It was so cold that she was chilled all over her body, as if her limbs were freezing, aching and weak.

She wanted to escape, but could not. Because no one can save her.

Liam looked at the aggressive Noah and subconsciously stepped between Ava and him, blocking Noah s view.

The corners of Noah’s eyes narrowed imperceptibly, as if he saw an opponent who was hindering his hunt.

Liam struggled to find his voice and confronted Noah, “I don’t care what Lilac Hospital will be like tomorrow, but you can’t just say you’re going to move the patients and not leave any time.”

Noah’s eyes, like an ice pick, shot through Liam’s heart, making his heart feel cold, too, but he couldn’t let on because the woman he loved was afraid of the man in front of him. And he, for his part, must defend for her.

“Just You? You’re not qualified.” Noah said, not even looking at Liam, turned around and left, but turned to his subordinates behind him and said, “I’ve changed my mind. Tonight – let’s blow this place up.”

The unquestionable tone of voice directly cut off all Ava’s hopes.

Until she watched Noah get into the silver Lamborghini outside the hospital, she only felt that her life and death was a word to decide in the mouth of that man. So small, her life was so small as if a bean ant under Noah’s feet general.

“Damn!” Liam was reluctantly still trying to chase him out!

Ava, however, pulled Liam by the hand “Brother Liam, don’t go! it’s useless.” He was so noble and mighty that whatever he wanted, there was absolutely no room for maneuvering, even Liam couldn t change. Because, Liam was the same as her- he is a tiny mole under Noah s feet…

So pathetic and sad, for the first time, Ava felt so bleak, she always thought that she only need to work hard, one day she d able to earn money to support the family, but now she realized that their own efforts were so small that all her hopes would be destroyed by Noah’s one word.

The pain in her heart, gradually evolved into numbness, she surrendered to her pathetic fate. She was really about to resign herself to… so many years she did not resign herself to fate, but now, she could no longer find her courage…

“Ava, don’t worry, I can only refer you to a hospital where my classmate works now…” Liam reassured Ava as much as he could.

But Ava couldn’t hear anything, just nodded her head numbly, her heart seemed lost and unable to find it’s way.

Leaving only what was left of her, a trace of self-respect that she did not want to put down…

That night, with Liam’s help, Ava transferred Jack to High Mountain Hospital, a hospital where Liam’s college friend worked, but at a much higher price than Lilac Hospital.

Ava sat in the hallway, watching Liam help her father get everything in place, unable to say a word. But Noah’s words echoed in her mind, “You must come to me.”

Would she? Now even she didn t know.

He was so arrogant and mighty that he could decide the fate of himself and Liam and even so many patients at will. What did he want her for? A plaything? She didn’t really know why.

When Liam came out of the ward, he saw Ava in a daze, and her excessively thin face, together with her eyes, which were originally watery and divine, seemed like a barren ruin. Ava looked so confused and unable to find a direction.

The heartache in Liam s heart, gradually evolved into a trace of bitterness, so that he subconsciously hugged her from behind, just to give her a little warmth.

The warmth behind her let Ava feel a little peace from her numb mind, as if to find a breakthrough to vent. Ava indulged herself in the warmth of the ferry. Then she turned back to bury herself into Liam s hug, silently left the most unwanted tears.

The long night, the cold corridor, the man’s embrace, the woman’s tears, the warmth of embracing each other made a pity picture, everything was so silent.

For a long time, Liam affectionately murmured in her ear, “Ava, don t be so tired,”

“Stay with me, okay?” Liam wanted to ask, but in the end could not ask. He was so afraid that she felt self-abased again, and run away from him.

“I don’t want to, but how many days will the $100, 000 last at High Mountain Hospital? Not even ten days, I’m afraid.” There was a fundamental difference between an urban hospital and a suburban hospital, and she had already heard Liam talking to his classmates about his condition and the amount of money spent on medication.Belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

Jack’s condition was getting worse and worse, every day it would cost 8, 000 to 10, 000 dollars in Lilac hospital. However, $100, 000 was not enough. In Lilac Hospital, she had paid 20, 000, and if the left 80, 000 be able to cover ten days or even less. Even Ava went out part-time, to the bar or what else, every night to earn over USD 100, or to the general bookstore, restaurant, she might earn only forty to sixty dollars. Even if she was not picky about what kind of work she could do, it was impossible to earn USD 10, 000 a day.

She simply had no way out…

Liam was silent for a long time before he said, “Don’t worry, we ll figure it out together tomorrow, there are ten days left, we’ll figure it out together, now you should go home and get a good nights sleep.”

Ava shook her head, “I’m going to work part-time. I haven’t been there for two nights. Brother Liam, thank you for today.” With that, Ava withdrew from his embrace and left in frustration.

Her figure in the silvery white light of the hospital was so thin and small that it hurt; her back was straightened with effort, but still unable to hide her timidity.

Liam s heart felt much painful. Eventually he went after her and took her hand in his.

“Tonight, don’t go anywhere, go back and get some rest, and tomorrow, we’ll face it together.”

Tomorrow, he would face everything with her.

No one had ever said such words to her. His smile shone into her heart as the last light of this world and in the end she was so moved that she did not say a word and could only let him pull herself out of this place that made her desperate. Following behind him, Ava swallowed back all the tears at the bottom of her eyes.
