” I didn’t know Cathy was married until some months back.” Cindy revealed.

” I don’t understand what you mean. Were you aware Cathy was your sister for a long time?” Nelly asked, looking confused and suspicious. She was scared Cindy was hiding something about her identity but she didn’t know what.

” Yeah but something stopped me from seeing her.” Cindy muttered in a low tone

” What’s that?”

” Cathy will tell you about it, I can’t tell anyone until I’ve seen her.” She answered with a tone that suggested she didn’t want to discuss the topic further.

” Okay. Let me call Axl to check if he has seen her.”

Nelly dialed his number but he didn’t pick up, she tried again and again until the 5th call and he still didn’t answer nor returned her calls.

” What’s going on?” Cindy asked, unaware of the rivalry between the two.

” He’s not taking my calls. I know he’s purposely ignoring me .”

” What do you mean by that?”

“No offense, Girl.” I’m just stating facts.” Cindy proclaimed in defense.

” The family members aren’t as sweet as you see or hear…well except Cathy. The rest are evil.”

” Really? How is Cathy coping with them?”

“Mr. Anderson is her favorite. About Axl, I really don’t know. It doesn’t seem much of a marriage for me.”

” So I’ve heard. The rumors of them not loving each other are true.”

” I guess so.”

They went silent for a while and after some time, Cindy received a call from Rhea. She took it and they talked for a long time before the call got disconnected but after the call Cindy became moody and worried. Nelly noticed it and asked about it.

” You look quite agitated. Is everything okay?” She asked, honestly looking worried.

” The one who’s my best friend and we have grown so much as siblings. She’s pregnant for her boyfriend, ” she exposed.

“That’s good news.”

” Not a good news.” Cindy said.

Nelly did not understand but she couldn’t question her further.

” Will you marry me, Rhea?” He asked, still on one knee.

“Yes, I will.” She answered in excitement.

He put his hand in his pocket and brought a rectangular box, he opened it and brought out a ring. She was surprised that the box was there all along.

He got up and placed the ring on the right finger, she hugged her immediately and helped her got dressed. He carried her upstairs,

” I will have a shower and serve you breakfast. Is that okay?”

” Can’t we have our shower together?”

” I won’t keep my hands to myself with you around, we might make out in the bathroom and I don’t want that especially knowing you’re pregnant.”

She smiled at his pretty face before squeezing his cheeks gently. He grabbed a new towel and left to have his bath. Rhea was excited about it, she didn’t know how to hide the excitement. Ste immediately called, Cindy who answered immediately.

” Rhea I’m not at home, can you fix another date?”

“I haven’t called for that Cindy. I have good news.”

“Really? You’re staying right?”

” Not that. Dementrio proposed, he gave me a ring.”

” Really? He did?” Carefully not to mention Dementrio’s name.

” That’s really amazing.”

“I’m so excited and I don’t think I can do anything else.”

” Calm down Rhea. I’m in the middle of something now but I Will call once I’m done.”

” What’s so important? Is there a problem?”

” No…not at all Rhea. I just went to see Cathy.”

” Please call me once you’re done.”

The call went off, she heard the door open, and turned to look at Demetrio. One look and she was mesmerized, her husband was handsome in all ways. She opened her mouth in awe but closed it immediately he noticed she was staring. He had a towel which he tied on his waist but the upper part of his body was left uncovered. There were still droplets of water on his body.

” Stop gazing.” He motioned, throwing a small towel at her. It landed right on her face.

” I just spoke to Cindy, she sounded tense.”

” Did she tell you what was wrong?”

” She only mentioned that she was with Cathy. I guess that’s where everything is coming from.”

” Don’t get so worried about Cindt she’s stronger than you think and I’m sure she will find a way through.”

“I’m hungry, get dressed so we can eat together.”

“Are you trying to tell me something else?” He winked at her seductively before trying to kiss her collarbone.

“Stop being childish.”

” Have you thought of a name for our baby?”

” Don’t start now. We don’t know the gender yet, but I can tell it’s going to be a boy.”

” Don’t be playful now.” She smiled at him as she raised her hands to hold his jaw.

” She’s going to be a girl.” Rhea muttered with a charming smile.

“Then she’s going to be very beautiful, just like her mum.” He whispered lovingly into her ears.

They walked hand in hand to where the food was to be served. Rhea was glad, looking at Dementrio serving her and treating her so lovingly. She wished everything was fine concerning their relationship and family.

She made up her mind to talk to Cindy about her relationship with Dementrio, although she knew Cindy won’t be happy with her for getting so close as become pregnant for her family’s enemy. She could make them resolve their issues

” Are you worried about us?” Dementrio asked. He had watched her for sometime and had noticed she was playing with her food. He instantly knew it was Cindy she was thinking about, he was also worried about how he was going to explain to Cindy that he wanted to take responsibility of the child. After all the unborn child will be his heir.

“I’m very worried about , Cindy. Her voice was cold when I called earlier.”

” I told you and I’m repeating the same thing. She will understand.
