Chapter 455
Brad and Jean had hugged and held each other, sure. But it was always in
situations where Jean was sick and needed support. He had never initiated a kiss with her, and they certainly had not slept together.
Their relationship was that of the most normal and close friends. There was no improper romantic involvement. So where did those compromising photos come from? This was something Brad was very curious about.
Upon hearing that Nadine had the photos in question, Brad was eager for a look.
Seizing the moment, Tyler sneered, "You've already cheated with Jean and slept with her. Why are you pretending to be innocent? Do photos lie?"
Tyler looked down on Brad for his unwillingness to own up to his actions. Even if Brad hadn't slept with Jean, so what? Was it still considered innocent to be hugging and kissing a woman who wasn't your wife? This was ridiculous.
Brad stared daggers at Tyler and said to his bodyguards, "I have private matters to handle with my wife. Please escort Mr. Sullivan out."
As soon as he finished speaking, a few bodyguards stepped forward. They lifted Tyler and carried him out against his will.
Talking to Brad was like talking to a brick wall. It was impossible to reason with him. Tyler was disgusted by such thuggish behavior and protested loudly. "You're guilty, Brad Hamilton! If you have any guts, put me down, and we'll talk this through properly.
"You and Jean are clearly not innocent. You can't forget your old flame or let her go. At the same time, you don't want to lose Nadine's care for you. You want to have it all, but in what world can you have both?
"You can only choose one. How can you expect to have the best of both worlds? You thugs, let me down! I want a one-on-one with Brad!"
No matter how loud Tyler shouted, the bodyguards had no intention of releasing him. They carried him out of the hall. Not only that, they also dumped him at the entrance, blocking him from re-entering.
Infuriated, Tyler could only curse. He hurled insults such as "thug", "shameless", "despicable", and "psycho". But no matter how loudly he cursed, neither Brad nor Nadine could hear him anymore.noveldrama
After Tyler was forced out, the only people left in the office were two of the Hamiltons' bodyguards, Nadine, and Brad.
Nadine sensed that the situation was turning dangerous and didn't want to face Brad alone. She immediately tried to escape.
But Brad had already predicted her move. Before she could take a step anywhere, he swiftly stepped beside her and pressed his hand on her shoulder. "Nadine Scott, show me the photos you mentioned!" be demanded.
Brad's attitude was domineering, and his grip was strong as he held Nadine's shoulder. No matter how much she struggled, she couldn't escape.
Realizing she couldn't match his strength, Nadine gave up resisting. She turned her face away and coldly responded, "Why don't you just ask Jean? She's the one who sent them to me."
Even though Jean had switched phone numbers multiple times to send her those things, Nadine could still deduce it was her. After all, who else would be so petty besides Jean?
Moreover, the timing of which Nadine received the photos was always carefully chosen. They were sent when Brad wasn't around.
Although Nadine had blocked those numbers, she hadn't been able to stop Jean's obsessive behavior. Eventually, she stopped blocking the numbers. Instead, she saved every single photo and stored them in an album.
Then, Nadine quietly waited for the day when Brad would sign the divorce papers.
She had even prepared for the
future. If Brad refused the divorce,
she would take him to court and file
for it herself. Then, she'd submit the
photos as evidence to the judge. She wasn't worried about the court not granting her a divorce.
But now, Brad was suddenly demanding to see the photos. What was he trying to
do? Destroy the evidence?
What do you think?
