Chapter 1358
Chapter 1358
Anthony’s dark eyes squinted as he looked at the person in his arms and felt his chest tighten.
Was that because of the drugs or was that because of his emotions?
He could not distinguish it, but he still wanted to hug her tight in his arms.
The fear that she had for him was all caused by him.
He did not intend to explain to Anne that he had been drugged.
The damage… was real.
He wondered how he would feel if he got rid of all the toxins in his body.
Other than his crazy obsession, what else was he left with?
Bianca did not know what happened within the Royal Mansion, nor did she know that Anne had returned.
She only wanted to imagine herself as Mrs. Marwood.
She drove and entered the Royal Mansion smoothly without any obstruction.
She came out of the car. She was covered in designer brands from top to toe, and no one could have competed with her.
All was well, except her smile was frozen before she could fully extend her grin.
She saw the familiar silhouette sitting on the bench, the one that she loathed and detested. She was holding her head down, looking at her phone. The sun shone on her body, as though coating her with a
layer of gentle soft glow.
She thought she was hallucinating.
She walked closer.
“Anne Vallois?” Bianca was so shocked that her voice cracked. “Why are you here?”
Anne saw her and looked indifferent. “This is my home. Why shouldn’t I be here?”
“But… But you had already run away! If you had already run away, why are you back here again? Why are you always haunting this place?” Bianca was utterly infuriated. Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.
“Then I suggest you ask Anthony about this. Why must he drag me back to become Mrs. Marwood?”
The thing that Anne did not want was exactly what Blanca yearned for. She listened as Anne spoke, every word of hers pierced right through her heart, and her face felt as though they were slapped over and over again.
She wished that she could tear Anne into pieces right there and then!
“You ugly b*tch, why do you deserve to stay by Anthony’s side?” Bianca rushed forward aggressively. “Don’t you have a mirror at home? Didn’t you see your own face in it? Who are you trying to disgust here?”
Anne was completely indifferent to her insults. She only looked at her lightly and said, “Mia had been sent to jail. Do you know about that?”
Bianca was stunned. “Jail? Why? But why are you telling me this? It is not relevant to me.”
“Didn’t you pay her?” Anne asked.
Bianca’s heart skipped a beat. “What nonsense are you talking about?”
The account that made the transfer to Mia belonged to someone else, and she would never admit to it.
“You know it well enough whether or not I am talking nonsense. Anthony will investigate this, won’t he?” Anne said.
Bianca decided not to hide anymore and said, “Even if he found out that it was me, so what? Anthony will never hurt me, not like you, always in and out of the hospital. So pathetic.”
Anne’s lips curved slightly upward.
She heard during the day that Mia and Fiona were both sent to jail.
She wanted to ask more, but the maids all shook their heads to say they did not know more about it.
Anne was shocked. On what premises did Anthony handle Mia and Fiona?
How did he know that Mia had her hands on Anne?
For some reason, she felt this had nothing to do with it.
Otherwise, why would Bianca still be standing here?
After all, Bianca was the real mastermind behind all these!
Anne stood up and did not want to say a word more with her.
Bianca stood before her to stop her. “Why are you smiling? What are you trying to say? Who are you grimacing for?”
“Aren’t you fearless? Why are you so nervous?” Anne asked lightly.
