Faced with the question, Bonnie just shushed and said, "People like that are out of our league. If you want to make money in this world, keep your mouth shut and work hard; don't ask too many questions."
Bonnie seemed to realize that her words sounded too formal, and she immediately added, "Alright, alright, how would we know what those big shots are thinking? We just need to do our jobs well. Look, it's 30 thousand dollars. Do you know how much you can buy with that?" said Bonnie.
Blake didn't answer the question. Instead, he continued asking, "So, what is that lady's ultimate goal?"
This time, Bonnie didn't hold back. "Honestly, I'm not too sure either. I was just told to firmly insist that Yasmine is the mistress, and that everything else would be taken care of for me
The video showed Blake and Bonnie dealing with some private matters, but nothing was as impactful as the conversation that had just been aired.
Lucy turned off her phone screen and asked, "You all recorded this video, didn't you?"
The reporters exchanged bewildered glances; their eyes filled with disdain for Bonnie. In disbelief, Bonnie collapsed to the ground, unable to fathom how her meticulously crafted plan could have gone awry at this moment, especially with the video surfacing in front of so many reporters to utterly disgrace her.
She was puzzled. The video was obviously recorded up close, not like a secret, shaky footage. Moreover, no one was supposed to know about Blake's affordable dwelling.
Before she could think further, she was once again surrounded by reporters, who peppered her with questions that caught her off guard and were most embarrassing. She could claim the previous audio as fabricated, but now with the video released, all her excuses fell apart.
Yasmine and Lucy stood aside; their gazes cold as they watched Bonnie. She herself knew that this charade was bound to end.
"Yasmine, you spiteful woman, you did this on purpose," Bonnie angrily exclaimed, her voice filled with outrage.
The moment those words were spoken, a harsh slap struck her cheek with a loud smack. She immediately clutched her face, staring in shock at the person who had rushed over. Trembling, she pointed a finger at her and said, "How dare you hit me?" Bonnie shouted. With so many people witnessing, this scene was certainly caught on camera.
Covering her face, Bonnie wailed, "Help! She hit me! You all are just joining together to pick on us. Why aren't you reporters filming her? She's hitting people!"
Lucy sneered at Bonnie, "Get ready for a lawsuit, unless you tell us whò that woman is. We might cut you otherwise."

Bonnie tried to calm herself down, terrified to speak. She shook her head. "I have no idea what you're talking about. Yasmine is the homewrecker, I'm not lying. I won't let you get away with hitting me."
As the reporters turned their cameras on Lucy, she spoke up coldly, "Mr. Russell instructed me to come and slap this woman. So, why don't you reporters hurry up and interview her instead?"
Hearing Mr. Russell's name, no one dared to take any more pictures of Lucy. Instead, they surrounded Bonnie. She picked up her child and attempted to flee, with journalists in pursuit.
After the commotion ended, Yasmine and Lucy walked into the school. Yoselin, focused on her exercises, was unaware of what had happened earlier, and Yasmine didn't plan on telling her, knowing it wouldn't be long before it hit the trending searches.

Still pondering Lucy's earlier words, Yasmine quietly asked, "What's going on with Yonas?"Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.
Lucy, looking slightly awkward, said, "Chuck gave me the video and asked me to bring it here to rescue you. I made those words up."
"Made up? You're really bold," Yasmine gasped, catching her breath.
Lucy shrugged it off, saying, "Do you know why Chuck found this video? It was all Yonas' doing. And this video is worth a million, believe it or not." Yasmine was completely puzzled, but she didn't want to ask more as soon as Yonas was
involved.
"Yasmine, you should've let me handle it from the get-go. People like this need to be taught a lesson," Lucy declared.
Yoselin noticed something was off. "Yasmine, what's up? Is that woman stirring trouble again?"
Lucy jumped in, "Yoselin, you missed how awesome I was just now. I slapped that woman right in the face..." She embellished the story, leaving Yoselin astonished.
"What? Something that interesting happened, and you didn't bring me to watch?" Yoselin complained, pouting.
"I didn't expect Lucy to show up, either," she said, stepping outside with just a recording in mind. But then, suddenly, Lucy arrived with a video.
Lucy chuckled and said, "Next time, I'll let you know personally
"Great, great," Yoselin exclaimed as she quickly pulled out her phone. Sure enough, the incident at the school gates had
already hit the internet.
Meanwhile, Bonnie clutched her child and dashed away, finally giving the reporters the slip in the winding alleys of the slums. She crept into Blake's affordable dwelling, surprised to find him packing. "Blake? What are you doing?" asked the woman.
With a casual glance, Blake replied, "Just packing up to leave this place."
"Where are you going? Why didn't you tell me?" Bonnie asked, her voice edged with worry.
"Why should I tell you? You're done for. You've broken the law and you still think everything will be fine? I suggest you keep
your
distance from me," Blake said, casting Bonnie a cold look.
Bonnie surveyed the surroundings of the affordable dwelling and suddenly spotted a camera, positioned exactly like the one in Lucy's video. In disbelief, she pointed at it and asked, "Blake, what's that? Is this your footage? Did you set me up to say those things?" Blake chuckled and said, "Just noticing now, are we? That's why call you foolish. Someone's offering a million for that video. If you were in my shoes, would you take the money?"
"A million?" Bonnie murmured, eyes lighting up as she looked at Blake. "Did you really get a million, Blake?"
"Of course," Blake replied.
"Blake, where are we heading?" Even without Irene's money, a million could let Blake live well.
Blake sneered, "Not 'we, just 'me."
Bonnie's eyes widened, "What do you mean?"
"I mean, I've lost interest in you long ago. Get out of my sight," Blake said.
"Blake, are you going to abandon us, your family? I divorced Ab leave your son?" Bonnie placed their son in front of Blake.
Blake didn't even glance at him. "Who knows whose child this is for yourself."
