Reclaiming My Broken Luna 2

Chapter 245: Warrior Bond

Astrid's POV

"Luna, you are really back," Gamma Jaxon exclaimed, his voice tinged with disbelief as he spotted me approaching. His eyes widened, and I could see the mix of surprise and relief on his face.

Behind him, a group of warriors stood at attention, their expressions a blend of curiosity and respect. Some faces were new to me, while others brought back memories etched with the passage of time. The air was thick with anticipation; my return had clearly stirred something among them.

I felt a flutter of nerves in my stomach. I had feared that they might have forgotten me, that I wouldn't be welcomed back. But as I looked at their faces - some bright with hope, others filled with determination - I felt a wave of relief wash over me. I smiled as I felt the warmth of their anticipation. It ignited a spark of confidence within me. Even though it's been years since I last saw them, there was still that bond between us.noveldrama

When I left the Pack, I hadn't had the chance to say goodbye to them or give them an explanation. I thought they would hold grudges against me for abandoning them.

Jaxon stepped forward, his posture straightening as he tried to mask his emotions. "Luna, we've missed you," he added, his tone softening. The sincerity in his voice made my heart swell, reminding me of the bonds we had forged in the past.

"I'm no longer your Luna. Stop addressing me with that title, or else the wrong people might hear you, and you will get yourself in trouble," I spoke softly, giving him a gentle reminder.

"You are the Alpha's rightful mate and Luna. No one deserves that title except you," Gamma Jaxon replied, his expression hardening.

Killian and his mother, along with the Pack members, had always held me in disdain for being a weak omega. They all believe that a person like me doesn't deserve to be their Luna. I was too weak to hold that position.

On the other hand, the Pack Warriors don't share the same opinion as them. They all held me in respect because of my fighting skills and the strength I have in combat.

They had always believed that I was rightful and deserving of the Luna position. I thought their opinions had changed since I left.

As a warrior, there's nothing more we value than loyalty, and I had abandoned them without an explanation. I couldn't believe that they still supported me until now.

It was a bitter irony - being both revered and scorned, cherished and resented. The lines of loyalty and affection blurred, leaving me caught in a web of conflicting emotions.

I took a deep breath, steadying myself as I faced the warriors. "It doesn't matter," I replied, my voice firm yet calm. "This is your Alpha's choice, and you must honor his decision.

The air grew still, and I could see the understanding in their eyes. They respected Kilian's authority, even if it complicated our history. "Your loyalty to him is what strengthens this Pack," I continued. "Even if 'm not your Luna anymore, I will never forget the memories we shared together. What matters is the bond that we have with each other."

Gamma Jaxon nodded slowly, though the tension in his expression remained. I could sense the struggle within him- how deeply he cared, yet how bound he was by loyalty to the Alpha. Gamma Jaxon opened his mouth in protest, his eyes searching mine as if he wanted to say something, but before he could utter a word, he pulled himself back as if his thoughts had pushed him to silence.

Then, with a sudden burst of resolve, Gamma Jaxon turned to the assembled warriors. "Let's welcome our old friend back!" he commanded, his voice ringing with authority.

In an instant, the atmosphere

shifted. The warriors shouted in

unison, their voices echoing across the training grounds, a chorus of welcome and respect. They bowed that

their heads, a gesture of honos

filled me with a mix of gratitude and unease.

Under the bright sun, I stood on the high platform of the Silvermoon Pack's training yard as I trained their warriors. Pacing back and forth, K surveyed the warriors below; their expressions were stern and fierce as they waited for my commands.

"Form up! Move to position!" I yelled from the pit of my stomach, and they responded in unison, their movements sharp and precise, a testament to their dedication.

Just as the rhythm of the training reached a fever pitch, I caught sight of Giselle arriving. She strode onto the scene with quiet confidence, her attendant following closely behind, holding a delicate umbrella above her head.

I let out a deep breath as I squinted my eyes to take a careful look at her. The moment I saw her, I knew she was up to no good.

I watched as the warriors' focus faltered slightly, drawn to Giselle's commanding presence. Her gaze swept over the training session, her expression a blend of curiosity and scrutiny as she walked up to the stage and stood beside me. "Is there no chair I could sit in? No cold water that I could drink?" Giselle spoke loftily, her tone demanding special treatment from those of us who were busy training.

"Continue!" I called out to Gamma Jaxon, who stood below the stage, signaling him to take charge of the training. I could see him nod in acknowledgment, his face a mask of professionalism as he rallied the warriors back to their drills. As they resumed their exercises, I turned to Giselle, wondering what kind of trouble she had brought here now.
