Reclaiming My Broken Luna 2

Chapter 351: The Call

Andros's POV

The knock on my door came just as I expected. My warriors knew better than to waste time when it came to delivering critical information.

"Enter," I called, my voice steady and calm.

One of my men stepped in, bowing his head in deference. "Alpha Andros, we've confirmed Astrid's location. She's at the Crimsonbane Pack. Asha and Killian are already on their way to see her."

A slow, sinister smile spread across my face. "Perfect," I murmured, leaning back in my chair.

I tapped my fingers against the armrest, letting the satisfaction wash over me.

Asha thought she was so clever, thought she could outmaneuver me. She'd been playing right into my hands from the beginning, her every move as predictable as the sunrise.

"She actually believed she was outsmarting me," I said, my voice laced with amusement. "Stupid girl. Always so ruled by her emotions. So easy to read."

I stood, walking to the window as I continued, my voice dropping into a colder tone. "Asha has always been predictable. Always so eager to prove herself, to do the 'right thing.' She never stopped to consider she was playing the role I set for her."

I turned back to face the warrior, my smile fading into something colder, sharper. "And now she's done exactly what I needed. She's led me straight to Astrid."

The warrior shifted slightly, clearly uncomfortable under my gaze, but I didn't care. My mind was already racing ahead to the next step.

"Astrid is with the Crimsonbane Pack, you say?" I asked, though I already knew the answer.

"Yes, Alpha," the warrior replied.

I chuckled darkly. "Then it's time to ensure she has no escape. Killian have left his pack unguarded. The Silvermoon Pack will be vulnerable without their Alpha. It's the perfect opportunity to strike."

The warrior's brows furrowed slightly. "Strike, Alpha?"

I smirked, the plan forming in my mind. "I'm sure Killian had left his son behind as well. We will take Ryker."

The warrior's eyes widened slightly, but he didn't dare question me. "The boy?" "Yes, the boy," I snapped, my voice icy. "If the Crimsonbane Pack values Astrid's life they'll hand her over when I put her son's life on the line. It's simple leverage —one they can't ignore."

"But, Alpha-"

“Don't question me,” I cut him off sharply, my tone brooking no argument. “The Silvermoon Pack is weak now. Their Alpha is gone, chasing after Astrid. It's the perfect time to take what we need. Assemble the warriors immediately and prepare for a raid."

The warrior bowed low, murmuring, "Yes, Alpha," before hurrying out of the room to carry out my orders.

I sat back in my chair, the cold satisfaction settling over me like a cloak.

Asha thought she was clever, but she'd been nothing more than a pawn in my game.

Now, with Ryker in my grasp, I'd have the leverage to bring Astrid to her knees. This was the moment I'd been waiting for. The end was near, and I had every intention of ensuring it played out exactly as I planned.

Astrid's POV

The forest was quiet except for the rustling leaves and the occasional chirp of birds.

I sat on the edge of the stream, staring at my reflection in the water. The face staring back at me was haggard, pale, and tired.

My hands trembled as I splashed the cold water over my face, trying to shake the images that haunted me.

Blood. It was all I remembered.

The day I ran in my wolf form was a blur. One moment, I was surrounded by betrayal and anger; the next, I woke up in the forest, my fur matted with blood.

I didn't know whose blood it was—if

it was my own or someone else's

The memory of that time eluded me no matter how hard I tried to piece it together.

That's how I ended up here, at the Crimsonbane Pack. I had walked for what felt

like days before collapsing at their borders.noveldrama

I told Alpha Damien not to tell anyone I was here. No one could know not with

the danger I carried inside me.

I sighed, running my fingers through my tangled hair. Every day, I tried to remember what happened, but the memory remained a dark void. It was maddening.

"Astrid," a voice called out from behind me.

I turned sharply to see Alpha Damien striding toward me. His expression was

calm, but his eyes held a hint of hesitation.

"You have visitors," he said, stopping a few feet away.

My heart sank. "Visitors? I told you—"

"They needed to see you," he interrupted gently, holding my gaze. "They're here for you, Astrid."

Killian and Asha stood in the center of the room, their expressions a mix of relief and worry.

“Killian," I whispered, my voice

catching as our eyes met. For a

moment, I saw something soft in his

gaze something that reminded me of the bond we once shared

Seeing him brought me tears, I have no idea how much I had missed him until I

saw him.

I wasn't able to push him away when he stood up and hugged me tightly showing

me how much he had missed me too.

"Why did you come here?" I asked sharply, my voice guarded.

"Astrid, you need to come with us, t

Asha spoke making me turn my attention to her. "It's Andros, he's not

the person we thought he was. I suspect he betrayed us all."
