Rekindling Her Affection (Sabrina and Nelson)

Chapter 24

Nelson's voice was filled with displeasure. He then reached out to help Pamela up.

Sabrina glanced over, realizing that he had already concluded that she had bullied Pamela. What was the point of asking her, then?

She continued to pick up the scattered diamonds and turquoise stones, feeling somewhat indifferent. "Think whatever you want."

Pamela weakly leaned into Nelson's arms and said tearfully, "Nelson, it's all my fault. I should have made sure Sabrina caught the brooch before letting go."

"Mr. Tucker, Pamela didn't do it on purpose. Ms. Wyatt has a really terrible temper," Lilith chimed in. "Pamela's wrist is red from her grip, and she even slapped me."

"Sabrina, is that true?" His voice turned colder as he asked.

Once all the diamonds and turquoise stones were collected, Sabrina stood up and carefully placed them on the desk. She rolled up her sleeves and then walked over to Pamela.

Ignoring Nelson's question, she simply pulled Pamela away from his embrace and slapped her across the face.

Lilith screamed while Pamela was stunned by the slap.

After several slaps, Sabrina grabbed Pamela by the hair, forcing her to look up. She then said slowly, "I'm slapping you now. You should know—"

Before she could finish her sentence, Nelson grabbed her wrist. "Are you done?"

Sabrina's eyes welled up with tears as she lifted her chin defiantly. "Not even close!"

Nelson pushed Sabrina aside and took off his coat, placing it over Pamela's head. He instructed Lilith to take her to the car and wait for him.

Sabrina's side collided with the corner of the desk, causing her pain.

Tears welled up in her eyes as she watched him tenderly escort Pamela to the door. When he turned to look at her, his gaze was cold and chilling. "Was she telling the truth?"

Sabrina met his gaze with defiance. "Does it matter what happened?"

His attitude was already the answer. Was there any point in saying more?

Her whole vibe of defiance and stubbornness genuinely surprised Nelson. He hadn't expected her to have such a temper.

He pinched her chin with his fingers and scrutinized her face. She looked like an angry cat now.

Suddenly, Nelson pressed his body against hers. He could sense her emotional fluctuations were stronger than usual.

Just as he thought Sabrina wouldn't be angry, she recoiled. However, she couldn't escape his embrace. "Get away from me!"

"Can't you say something nice to me?" he said again.

Nelson suddenly missed the old Sabrina, the one who wouldn't be so harsh. She used to cling to his door and peek in before asking softly, "Should we have fish for dinner tonight?" Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.

"You don't deserve anything nice from me!"

Nelson chuckled softly. Holding her waist, he lifted her up to sit on the desk. "I know how to make you relent."

The hairs on Sabrina's neck stood up.

Since Nelson just wanted to see her relent, he had achieved his goal. He looked down at her from above and said, "Sabrina, you should learn how to be a good CEO. You're not very professional right now."

With those words, he left, leaving Sabrina to fall to the ground.

Bullying Pamela wasn't very professional, was it?

He only saw that she had slapped Pamela, but he didn't bother to ask why.

Of course, he hadn't see the cut in her palm from where Pamela had scratched her with the brooch.
