Chapter 2

Chapter 2

"next, algebra..." I flipped over the pages of my revision notes, fully focused on the math equations messily written all over with coloured ink. I wasn't the best at decorating my notes, and everything always seemed disorganised.

My butt begins to itch from the grass I was sitting on, so I adjusted my shorts. It's probably rude to do so, but everyone else was exercising on the track anyway.

But why is the gym wear so revealing? My entire bare thigh was exposed to the air. Did some pervert design this...

"Aren't you trying too hard?" I heard a familiar cocky voice from the side. Sure enough, it was Jung-I- got-first-place-soo.

I raised my head, gulping as soon as I caught sight of him.

He was wearing his gym shirt and track pants. It was white, and soaked through with his sweat. I didn't want to admit - but he was hot as fuck.

Jungsoo seems to notice what I was thinking, as his eyes followed the direction of where I stared. He combs his hair back to the side, before sitting down next to me with a smirk.

"You're skipping physical education just so you can study?" he mocks me, lying down on the grass with his eyes fixed on my notes. I groaned in annoyance.

"I'm sick, okay?" I lied.

"Lovesick? for me?" He grins playfully, propping an elbow on the grass. And he stares into my eyes waiting for an answer.

"more like, I'm sick of your bullshit" I shot a disgusted look at him, earning an amused reaction. He sits up, leaning closer towards my body.

"If you really wanted my number, you can just ask you know?" he raises my chin so I'm facing him.

"Omo! Can I really?" I pretended to be flustered. Jungkook's eyes lit up at my reply, and he nods with a smile.

"my number is-

Before he could continue, I pushed him onto the grassy surface, my body hovering over his. Jungkook's face was shocked, but excitement soon took over when he analysed my facial expression.

"Too bad, but I don't really wanna know." I whispered into his ear, the same way he did to me. As I pulled away, his eyes were fixed on my gym attire, thirst in his intense gaze. Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

I flinched slightly when he intentionally rubs his knee onto my inner thighs for a split second.

"Are you wearing those panties underneath?" He questioned.

Instantly my hands moved away, standing up in front of him. I pulled the hem of my shirt down to cover whatever thigh that was exposed.

"Min Soojung...Just what are you?" He stared at me as if I was some interesting rare display. There was the same amusement in his voice, a sort of mysteriousness that added to his persona.

"Me? I'm a better person than you." I answered, my lips curved into a satisfied smile.

And just like that, I left him lying there, walking away as far as possible to avoid catching any of his stupid antics and innuendos. He was making my school life alot harder than it should be, and it made me frustrated beyond my control.

I spent two more hours in the next period with him stealing glances at me. He was seated right behind, occasionally trying to gain my attention.

"Soojung." He calls me, pushing the leg of my chair with his foot.

"Polkadots" he calls again, and I continued ignoring him.

"Polkadot pant-

"YAH!" I turned around in alarm, covering his mouth with my hand. I didn't realize what situation I've gotten myself into until I felt multiple pairs of eyes staring at me.

"Two of you, get out!" The teacher exclaims angrily.

-

"This is all your fault" I snapped at him, pushing his shoulder.

"Yah, you were the one who didn't respond!" he snaps back, pushing his shoulder against mine.

"Enough! Do you want detention?" The teacher's voice resonated from inside the classroom. I felt my cheeks flush a crimson red when the entire class started to hold back their laughter.

"I hate you." I whispered to Jungsoo, facing the other way.

"Alright. Remember to study for the test tomorrow, you're dismissed!" the teacher grabs the duster to erase the chalk on the blackboard. And as she did, I spotted the two people that were selected for

morning duty tomorrow.

"....fuck." I cursed my bad luck when I saw Jungsoo and my name written together. My mood plummeted, the only comforting thing is the figure that waited for me outside the classroom.

"Soojung, are you done? Let's walk home together." my older brother smiled, his eyes dazed and sleepy.

"No, you go back first. I need to study more in the library." I assured him. Yoongi nods, his hands ruffling my hair gently.

"Your sister?" another boy appeared from behind him, a lovely eye smile on his face. He observes me closely, and pats my head.

"Hey," my brother frowns slightly. "only I can do that." He takes his hand away.

"Uh—Sorry, I have to get going. It was nice meeting you." I nodded politely at Yoongi's friend, before heading off.

"Again?" I facepalmed as I saw the very familiar figure that occupied only table. I wanted to study peacefully, but he seems to be everywhere I go.

I approached the table cautiously, not wanting him to notice I was there. But I realized that the boy was sleeping soundly on the table, his head resting atop of his arm.

I sat down opposite him, studying his facial features.

"Jeon Jungsoo." I called out to him, but he stirs gently in his sleep. I pinched his cheeks in attempts to wake him up, to no avail.

And suddenly, a genius idea popped up in my head, causing a devilish grin to form on my lips.

"Jungsoo, time for a taste of your own medicine..." I held up my black permanent marker.
