Sextuplets From Ruthless Love

Chapter 63

Trevor chose to dine with Bennett in his office instead of eating out.

He had even brought Jessica's meal along.

After lunch, a driver sent Bennett to school.

Jessica was to accompany Trevor to a small island to prepare for their company's gathering at night.

This island was one that she didn't care much about but now had no choice but to visit.

On the boat ride to the island, Martin had secretly told her that each part of the island was accessible except for its center.

Jessica thanked Martin for his well-meaning advice and hurriedly followed behind Trevor.

Trevor's pace was inexplicably much slower than usual.

Martin pondered over Trevor's drastic change. He had to jog to keep up with him most of the time, but today he was leisurely strolling.

"Ms. Leah, the lady Old Mr. Gulliford introduced to you, is attending tonight's event. I heard that she'd just returned from abroad yesterday," Martin said. "Yes, I saw her yesterday."

Trevor replied dispassionately as his eyes occasionally darted to Jessica who was keeping pace behind him.

"Mr. Gulliford, do you have any specific instructions for the dishes being prepared tonight?"

Martin asked gingerly.

"No."

Trevor came to an abrupt stop.

Jessica didn't manage to react in time and bumped straight into his back.

He turned back to look at Jessica who was rubbing her head and a look of amusement flitted across his face.

"I apologize, Mr. Gulliford. It was an accident."

Jessica hastily uttered as Martin stood to the side with both of his hands folded back fretfully.Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

Mr. Gulliford had mysophobia and abhorred any form of physical contact.

Whatever could his smirk mean then?

Had he become so irate that he'd lost his good sense?

"Be careful."

Trevor urged before striding off.

Jessica cursed him internally.

What was that all about? He was the one who stopped without warning!

Martin's jaw dropped. Was this still the aloof Mr. Gulliford that he knew off?

B-Be careful?

They soon arrived at the guest house. Although the island belonged to Trevor, he mostly used it as a vacation spot for his guests.

Jessica was surprised by how enterprising he was in turning the island into a tourist spot.

"Mr. Gulliford, everything is according to plan. Mr. Bennett will also be picked up and sent here after school."

"Good." Trevor stood still as he

gazed at the empty space at the center of the island. He then turned to look at the woman behind him before resuming his walk.

"Mr. Gulliford, Old Mr. Gulliford intends for you to find a wife soon. After all, your wedding has been

delayed for three years now col

"Silence."

Trevor cut Martin off impatiently.

Jessica's spine straightened as her heart felt as if it had been squeezed. Trevor still wasn't married?

She had thought that he'd married Melissa-

Martin silently handed Jessica the program schedule before making himself scarce.

Jessica trailed Trevor into the office of the holiday villa. It had minimal decor, and its window gave way to a relaxing view of the outdoor pool.

"Mr. Gulliford, I shall run through the flow of events with you."

Jessica held the documents and stood in front of Trevor's desk. A report must be what was expected of her when Martin handed them over. "Go ahead."

Trevor leaned back against his chair as his dark eyes met hers. His black suit enhanced his preternatural grace and class.
