Chapter 60: Suspect
She didn’t say anything, quickly closed the door, and slowly walked inside, feeling extremely satisfied in her heart, not getting anything right, not angry or resentful of Hana, the more she cursed each time, the more she happily chuckled. Then, seeing Hana’s ugly image, I’m afraid this is the first and last time, how happy she is. After many years, there was a day when she made this whole family wobble without her.Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
You thought she’d run up to grab her hair, and pin her head to the floor. It didn’t look like she had imagined it at all. Not interesting at all, is it really Hana?
“There’s still a bunch of stuff over there, put it out to dry. But first, go in and prepare breakfast. Hurry up! It’s late for my class.” She echoed as she went upstairs. Clara didn’t react, just walked up without even looking back at her scowling face. She did have an excuse to make fun of her, but she made her happy, so Clara decided to spare her.
Hearing Hana’s scolding, she opened the door to her room and walked out, the door was not open yet she immediately scolded the troublemaker: “What’s with making a fuss in the morning?”
Then she caught a glimpse of Clara’s shadow in the corner, she changed her tone of concern, smiling as if welcoming her home: “Clara is back, baby! How are you feeling? Is there anything to say? Auntie for an hour!”
She spoke loudly as if on purpose for Clara to hear, she paused, confused by her attitude. What is she up to or is it just a casual greeting? A little puzzled, Clara absolutely could not look back or show her attitude. Pretending not to hear her keep going up when she can’t see anymore stop, try to figure out what’s going on, what’s wrong with her, has she eaten something?
She sat down on the top step, trying to decipher the strange things that never happened. For the first time, she heard a word of her kindness.
She looked up and followed, her neck was tired, when her shadow was no longer in sight, she smiled mysteriously and turned to Hana. Immediately, her eyebrows furrowed in annoyance, when she saw Hana leisurely sitting down on a chair to relax, she reached out to massage her shoulders, ignoring her. She didn’t seem to be paying attention to what she had just said to Clara, and if she had, she would have jumped up and rolled her eyes at her mother.
Expressing dissatisfaction, she clicked her tongue, shook her head, and criticized: “Cleaning the house since morning has not been completed yet, are you planning to skip school to clean the house until the afternoon or why are you still sitting there, do you know it’s bad? Is it a tiger?” Her voice was scornful, she looked at her with a puzzled expression, and without hesitation, she scolded a few more words: “I don’t have time to clean the floor.”
She shouted loudly, startling her, watching her motionless for a few minutes before opening her mouth to protest.
“I’m tired! Can’t you think for a moment?” Her voice reproachfully said: “Besides, he’s back, what do you have to do?” She was furious with her mother.
“Don’t fuss about others so much, Clara just got out of the hospital and she’s still not feeling well, she needs to rest, what’s the point of nagging when she does some housework? Is that so hard? Is such a trivial thing even something can you do? When you grow up, you can’t do anything useful like Clara, but at least you can sweep the house with a broom. Who are you to be so ignorant and lazy? Then you should be polite, I’m lucky to be noticed by people. You only have the face of studying from your mother, the rest you don’t learn anything good?”
Xenia scolded her once, she deliberately spoke loudly, in a sharp voice so that she could hear, she was sure she was listening and heard what she said very well. She chuckled at her own sublime plan, Xenia triumphed, sure her plan would succeed. She was lost in her fantasy world, ignoring Hana’s shocked, speechless face.
The redhead stared at her, unable to believe her mother had just said those harsh words to her.
She never said those words to her, never used that critical, cynical attitude, and never did she defend or be kind to Clara.
These things caused her soul to leave her body because she could not accept the unexpected change of her mother. Hana was both sad and angry, she put her hand on her chest, it was clear that her heart was beating wildly, sometimes she didn’t hear the drumbeat.
After a while, she looked back at her daughter, who was still in shock at the incident, still sitting there, not bothering to lift her butt. Not wanting to explain at length or try to appease her, she immediately added another sentence: “If you care about it if you make it difficult for Clara, be careful with me.”
Hana looked back at her, unable to say anything, such an eloquent declaration: “Quickly get ready for school, come back and finish it at night.”
With that, she left the room, letting her touch her horns. Up there, Clara couldn’t help but panic. The two angels looked at each other, confirming that Xenia was up to something.
Never had she suddenly behaved so out of the ordinary. It’s doubtful!
