Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 257

Chapter 257

They'd been going round and round about this.

Unless Andre showed her what he was really made of, she won't be scared. "I'm going all in tonight. Content rights by NôvelDr//ama.Org.

Don't be crying under me."

Just the thought of some nights sent a shiver down Mia's spine. "I'm going to take a shower."

She wrapped herself in a blanket to go to the bathroom, but to scare her, Andre deliberately yanked it

away. Mia suddenly felt empty and quickly rushed into the bathroom to hide.

What if Andre woke up in the morning with a hard on and wanted to have sex with her?

Andre can read her like an open book. He had an indulgent smile on his face, with a hint of

helplessness at the corners of his mouth.

Mia was in the bathroom taking a shower. Andre knew she was sobered up. He knocked on the

bathroom door, telling Mia, "I'm going to the study. If you get bored, you can find me there."

"Okay. Honey, can you tell the chef I'm a bit peckish?"

With a smile, Andre left the room. First, he had the servants prepare food for his wife, then he took his

nephew to the study. "How did the tailing last night go? Did you catch anything?"

Leo replied, "Halfway through tailing, his car pulled over by the side of the road to make a call, then

turned around and left, taking Jillian to the hospital."

Leo was curious about who gave Jillian the bruise on her face.

"Looking at this bruise, it looks like your wife's handy work?"

"That would be my wife's doing," Andre replied.

Leo clapped his hands in excitement, pointing at Andre, "Andre, I made a bet with Jade last night that

Jillian's bruise was given by Mia. Jade didn't believe it, she thought if Mia were to hit someone, she'd

hit their entire body, not just their face. Look who's right now."

Andre said, "Molly isn't wrong, Mia did hit her elsewhere, it's just her face got the worst of it."

Leo said, "Then I still win."

Andre laughed and then casually asked, "Does Mia usually drink with you guys?"

"When the three of us hang out, she and the other girl only drink beer. At our class gatherings, I always

have them hold their own drinks, and never let them out of their sight. What's up, Andre?"

Andre seldom praised him, "Good job."

Leo, taken by surprise, felt a bit unreal. "Andre, what about the Marshal family?"

Andre's gazes darkened, "The Marshal Group won't exist by next year."

Leo didn't understand, "Andre, what are you planning?"

Andre simply said, "Bank."

Leo was smart, and he got it right away.

"If the Marshal Group can still secure funding despite a broken financial chain, does that indicate that

the people behind it hold significant influence and power?"

Andre nodded.

The Marshal Group had come this far, and smart people won't give up easily. Whoever was behind

them wasn't an idiot; they'll definitely come to the rescue. Once they made a move, his targets will

become much smaller.

After Mia finished her shower and went to look for her husband, she saw Leo when she opened the

door. "Why are you in my husband's study again?"

Leo replied, "Just chatting."

"What about?" Mia asked.

"Drinking," Leo teased.

"Then I won't disturb you, goodbye." And with that, Mia left.

Leo laughed and looked a bit puzzled as he asked, "Andre, why is your wife so agreeable today?"

Andre laughed, but he didn't tell him about last night, not wanting him to know about his wife's mischief.

As soon as Mia stepped out, she saw Naomi about to leave and immediately thought of yesterday.

"Naomi, where are you going? Can I come with you?" she called out.

"You just woke up, go eat something first. I'll be back soon," Naomi said before leaving.

Once Naomi was gone, Mia asked a servant, "Where did my husband go?"

The servant replied, "He went to work this morning."

Mia stood at the door, with hands on her hips, watching Naomi drive away. She thought if her husband

was here, he wouldn't let Naomi go out alone. And Naomi probably didn't tell her husband about going

to see her parents, not wanting to disrupt his work.

With that, Mia turned to go back inside. She headed to her husband's study, not bothering to knock

before she entered.

Leo was about to leave, when Mia pushed the door forcefully, catching Leo off guard and causing him

to hit his face on the door.

"Mia!" Leo shouted.

Seeing him about to leave, Mia quickly grabbed his wrist, "Come with me."

Downstairs, Leo shook off Mia's hand, rubbing his nose with his other hand.

Mia found Leo's car key, and she stuffed it into his hand, "Drive me to a place."

"Let your husband take you. I'm not going." Leo said.

"I'm going to the Mastin family. Yesterday, someone asked Naomi for 60,000 dollars, and Naomi just

left the house alone," Mia said.

After hearing this, Leo no longer felt the pain in his nose, he took the key and ran out. Mia followed him

out. The passing servant saw the two of them running around but didn't know what they were doing.

The butler and Hansen saw them and can only say, "Young people have so much energy. They have

quite the stamina for running."

They get into the car.

Leo buckled his seatbelt with one hand and started the car with the other. Before Mia can buckle her

seatbelt, he had already drove off.

Looking at Leo's tense expression, Mia swallowed hard, then told him, "My husband told me about

Naomi last night."

Leo grunted in reply. After a while, he asked, "Did that guy hit my mom again yesterday?"

Mia remembered the sight of Naomi getting hit, "Yes, he hit and cursed at her."

Leo's grip on the steering wheel tightened. He floored it, and they were on their way straight to the

Mastin's.

Once they got to the Mastin's place, Naomi's car was nowhere in sight.

Mia was about to get out of the car, and just as she unfastened her seatbelt, Leo instantly fastened it

for her. Mia looked at his swift movement, and she couldn't even react in time.

Leo said, "My mom's not here."

Then Leo whipped the car around and took off from the Mastin's, heading for downtown. Mia sat in the

car, checking out the scenery on both sides, her heart pounding in her chest. Before long, they pulled

up in front of a coffee shop. There, Leo spotted his mom's car.

He said, "My mom knows going to the Mastin's is risky, so she'd choose to meet these two at a place

she's familiar with. This coffee shop is one of her investments. S he's the main shareholder, so if these

two want to start trouble here, her safety won't be compromised."

Mia said, "I didn't realize you were such a good son, knowing your mom so well."

They didn't go inside, instead they sat in the car and kept an eye on the situation through the window.

Naomi only put six grand on the table. The two guys across from them immediately became furious,

stood up, and attempted to attack Naomi.

Right then, the staff nearby jumped in to intervene, and Naomi luckily avoided a hit.

"I wanted 600k, and you give me a measly six grand, are you messing with me?" Kyle yelled, pointing

at Naomi's face.
