Tangled Temptations

Chapter 343

The university reunion was full of talented people, and the one who stood out the most was Harvey. Ravenna had hoped to get on his good side, but Harvey had already left with Eloise.

In the parking lot, inside the car, Harvey slowly buckled his seatbelt, turning to look at Eloise.

Eloise leaned back in her seat. There was a hint of tears in her eyes as she stared out the car window. Clearly, those old videos had touched her.

First love is not something that's easily forgotten, right?

Harvey's long fingers lightly caressed the steering wheel. He asked, "Miss it?"

"No!"

"Then why do you look like you're about to cry, hmm?"

...

Eloise remained silent.

Harvey's fingers tightened slightly on the steering wheel before he gently stepped on the accelerator and drove away.

After a while, Eloise realized something was off. This wasn't the way home, nor was it the way to his office. She couldn't help but ask, "Where are you taking me?"

Harvey's voice was tight. "To the apartment we used to live in."

Eloise had an idea of what he might be planning and felt a hint of resistance. "Harvey, my past with Max was years ago. You can't keep holding on to it just because of a video."

He didn't respond.

At the next red light, he took a cigarette from the dashboard and lit it. "Eloise, I'm jealous."

Eloise was stunned.

Harvey left it at that and focused on driving, taking them to the apartment building.

When Eloise refused to get out of the car, Harvey unbuckled his seatbelt, leaning in close to her ear. "Do you want to get out yourself, or should I carry you?"

Eloise was a bit defiant, getting out of the car and storming ahead of him. Harvey slowly shut the car door and casually followed her, with a cigarette between his fingers.

Once inside the apartment, Eloise turned to ask him, "Harvey, what are you..." Before she could finish, he had grabbed her wrist and pinned her against the wall.

Their bodies were close together. Even though they were married, it was still quite stimulating in the middle of the day.

Eloise was a little taken aback. "Harvey?"

Harvey gently stroked her soft cheek. His voice was particularly husky. "I just have some questions for you!"

After saying this, he pulled off his tie and used it to bind her wrists. Then, he tossed her onto the soft couch. Eloise struggled to get up, kneeling on the couch, angrily asking, “Harvey, is this how you ask questions?"

Harvey knelt in front of her, lightly brushing her cheek. He gave a soft laugh. Then, he got up and walked to the liquor cabinet. His long fingers lightly brushed over the various bottles before he picked two bottles of fine red wine. This wine was intoxicating but not overpowering. It was perfect for women to drink.

He took off his jacket, leaving only a white shirt on. A belt cinched his slim waist, his legs were long and straight, which women often found appealing.

At that moment, Harvey came over with the bottles of wine, knelt in front of her, and elegantly poured two glasses. Eloise thought he was going to force her to drink, so she bit her lip and said, "Harvey, whatever you want to know, I'll tell you." He swirled the wine in the glass. "I want the truth." After saying this, he took a small sip. His Adam's apple bobbed up and down, exuding a masculine charm. Eloise stared. Her lips parted slightly. Her voice was husky and sexy. "Harvey..."

He took the opportunity to kiss her, exploring her lips and feeding her the rich and fragrant red wine. Eloise resisted slightly, tilting her head back, but he kept getting closer.

The red wine stained her snowy skin with tiny spots of crimson. Her silk blouse was also damp and clung to her full figure, which tempted any man's impulse. Harvey whispered against her lips, "Drink a little more, then I'll ask you."

Eloise couldn't stand it and began to cry softly. "Harvey, don't do this."

He picked up the wine glass and held it to her lips, coaxing her to drink. She refused, so he tried to feed her again.

Eloise cried and yelled.

Half an hour later, Eloise was drenched in red wine. Her skin took on a rosy hue. Her lips were slightly swollen from excessive kissing. She was half-drunk, leaning against the couch. Her hands were free from their bindings.

Harvey leaned in, peppering kisses along her body. Eloise's expression was slightly dazed. He bit her earlobe a little bit harder, asking, "Who's better looking, me or Max?"

Eloise was drunk. She wanted to sleep, but Harvey wouldn't let her. She wrapped her arms around his neck. Her voice was shaky. "You're better looking."

He moved his kisses to her delicate chin, continuing his interrogation, "How far did you two go?"

When he asked this, he paused. Then, he realized that this was the question he had been wanting to ask all along.

Eloise shot back discontentedly, ignoring his question. "Harvey, why did you stop kissing?"

He cupped her chin, keeping her still. Eloise's eyes were wet and full of passion, which was something she hadn't shown him in a long time. She was always too calm during their intimate moments.

Harvey broke into a cold sweat. The drops trickled down onto her body. She wanted to scream from the heat.

He gripped her waist, asking once more. Eloise blinked slowly, murmuring, "We kissed, and that's all."

Harvey held her tighter. His face buried in her neck. He remained silent for a while before asking softly, "Do you... still like him?"

Eloise seemed to sober up. Her slender hand gently traced his warm neck. Her voice was hoarse. "No, I don't."

Harvey began kissing her again. He was gentle, slowly melting her with each kiss. He scooped her up in his arms and carried her to the bedroom.

The red wine stained the sheets, spreading out like desire. Eloise blossomed like

a rose under him. It had been a long time since Harvey had savored such passion. He didn't want to stop. He wanted to keep going until they were old.

...

When the tide of desire receded, it was already evening.

Eloise woke up in a dimly lit bedroom. It was quiet. She lay on her side on the bed. Even though she was drunk, she could remember how Harvey had made love to her, and how she had tried to reciprocate. Two bottles of wine had thawed her cold demeanor.

Eloise felt complicated. She couldn't tell if their lovemaking was just a physical need.

The bedroom door creaked open, letting in a sliver of light. Harvey walked in, sitting on the edge of the bed, gently pinching her cheek and softly suggesting, "Maybe you should get up now. Linda has called a few times asking about you.” Eloise gave him a side glance, picking up the blanket as she rose from the bed. Her head was still a bit foggy.

Harvey, feeling completely refreshed and in high spirits, leaned his forehead against hers and murmured, "Get up first. You can sleep more when we get home, okay?"

Eloise bent down to pick up the silk blouse. How was she supposed to wear this? Harvey chuckled softly. He headed to the walk-in closet to select an outfit for her, and then gently helped her dress.

Eloise was not without irritation, but they were, after all, husband and wife. Letting bedroom affairs cause friction would only be a spectacle for others, and besides, she felt good.

She brushed through her brown hair, softly warning, "Don't you dare get me drunk again."

Harvey rested his chin on her shoulder, humming a soft affirmation.noveldrama

Today was an unexpected surprise. Usually, he wouldn't dare to.
