The Alphas And The Orphan

Over lunch we got to know a lot about our hosts. Hellios told us stories about my mother’s pack, and what my grandparents were like. I feel very close to them. I suppose it is because we are only a few miles from their pack.

Leander is 28 years old and has still not met his mate. He had been traveling for almost a year to see if he could find her, but no luck as of yet. He returned home when he found out that Liam had found me and we would be coming to take down the barrier.

He has found memories of playing in the pack as a child. Ace has invited him to our pack so he can continue his search for his Luna.

After lunch we returned to our room, and waited to hear from Lex. My stomach is in knots and I know I wont relax until we are all together again.

It seems like hours when Lex finally links us, just hearing his voice in my head settles my nerves, we iron out the plan of attack. If all goes well, it should all be over by the end of today. I can’t wait.

I linked my girls, and arranged to meet them in a clearing behind the villa, half an hour from now. They all agree, but Hailey links me privately, “Luna, can I speak to you privately before the meeting please, I need your advice, I know this is not the best time…..”

I cut her off, “I am always here for you, hon, do you want to come to my room now? I will ask Max to get everyone settled.”

I kick Ace and Ash out of our room and wait for her to arrive. When she does, Jessica is with her. I can feel her emotions rolling off of her in waves. I grabbed her hand and made her sit on the couch.

“Oh my goddess, what’s the matter, baby-girl?” She looks up at me with tears in her eyes, “I just found my mate, but when he ran at me I got so scared that I ran away from him.”

She fell into my arms, sobbing so hard that I felt the room shudder, s**t, we need to calm her down before her earth power activates and she brings the villa down.

Jess sits beside her and wraps her arms around her, “Hayley, sweetheart, I promise everything will be okay, I know it all seems to much right now, but it will all work out.”

Stroking her hair, I raised her head to look at me, “Do you know his name? I can find him and explain everything to him.” She sniffs and whispered, “He called me Luna before I ran, he won’t want a broken Luna.”

I linked Ash and filled him in, and asked him to take my dad and go and talk to leander. “Hayley, I think your mate is Alpha Leander, he has just told us how he has searched for his mate for ten years. There is no way he will reject you honey, Ash and dad are going to talk to him now, okay?”

She looks up at me, her bottom l*p quivering, she nodded, and buried her head in my shoulder. Ten minutes later, Ash linked me.”Angel, we have found him, and he is in bits. We have explained Hayley’s circumstances to him. He wants her to know that he has waited ten years to find her, and he will wait another ten for her if she needs him to, but he just needs to know that she will give him the chance to prove himself.”

I relayed the message and she gave me the first smile since she came to my room, “Star, I know we have a meeting, but I think I need to see him first, just for a moment, then we can talk when Miller is dead.”

I passed the message to Ash and asked him to meet us in the courtyard outside the villa. Then I let Max know what is going on, and that we needed a minute.

The three of us took a seat on a bench and waited. Hayley looked at us, “I need to talk to him alone, but can you stay close?” we both nodded and stepped away to give them some privacy.

Leander sat next to her, but not touching. They spoke for a few minutes, before she allowed him to give her a gentle hug. When they parted she had a huge grin on her face, and I knew everything would be okay.

I apologised when we finally got to the meeting, but all the girls brushed me off and hugged Hayley.

Going through the plan with my team, I explain each step to them. at the end I look at each of them in turn, “I am so proud of you all, the strength you all have is beyond my imagination. I know that it will be hard facing the son of a b***h, but I know you can do it with pride and grace. Remember that we move as one, drawing strength from each other, do not break away from the group, we have trained for this. Now let’s go rip that mother fucker to shreds.”

My girls give out a battle cry so loud I am sure they can be heard at home in England. We are ready for you, Barton Miller, it’s time to pay for your sins.

I march my team to the portal, Ace and Ash bow to us as we pass, and I see Leander beaming at Hayle with pride. As we pass, his eyes meet mine and he mouths, “thank you Luna.” I grin and wink at him.

We walk through the portal and I am immediately engulfed in a tight hug, and lifted off the floor, “f**k baby, I have missed you.” I grin at my warrior,”I missed you too, my Alpha, are we ready to kill some d***s?”

Smirking, he plants a wet k**s on my lips, “more than ready my Luna.” We wait for the confirmation that everyone is in position. The warriors on lookout confirm everyone is still partying at the pool, and all teams are where they are supposed to be.

Lex linked everyone, “here we go, everyone follows the Luna’s lead, this is their show, we are just the back-up singers and deal with their scraps. We cover their asses, and deal with anyone that gets past them on Luna’s order, we move.”Content (C) Nôv/elDra/ma.Org.

My girls smirk at Lex, and he gives them a cheeky wink. I rolled my eyes and move my team into position, “Ready?”

“Yes Luna”

I open a link to all our warriors, “GO,GO,GO.”

As one my squad runs toward the gates, using our combined powers of wind and earth we demolish the walls and blow debris inwards, taking out the guards at the gate.

Jasmin and Jess combine their water and ice powers and throw ice spears at the guards running at us from the west, while I see Lex, Blair and Leander shift and take down the ones from the east.

I see more rogues coming from the house, as darkness covers the compound, Penny and Stacy link their powers, Penny uses her night power to counter the male elemental, while Stacy turns on every light in the compound and turns them to max, lighting the way for our people.

I see the three elementals walking from the villas towards us, I can see the night wolf struggling to overpower my girls, and the a*****e with the electric is throwing bolts everywhere. The wind wolf is creating random wind funnels and sending them in all directions.

I see some of our warriors fall, as they are hit by random bolts and others are thrown around by mini-tornadoes. Hanah lifts her hands towards the three and pulls the air from their lungs, leaving them gasping, but she gets hit by a bolt of lightning. I watch as she falls to the ground, her charred lifeless face turned towards me,
