Aiden’s POV

I watch as my girl and her friends torture Miller. All of the girls have blank expressions, and every time one of them steps up to him, they say, “this is for….” before unleashing a power or slicing him with his own knife.

When Frankie collapsed, Alpha Leander and I carefully picked her up and lay her on one of the sun loungers, and Olly found a blanket to cover her with.

They have been at it for over an hour now, Julie has poisoned him and cured him more times than I can count. He has been electrocuted, burnt, water filled his lungs almost to the point of death, my girl has shot icicles through both his feet, he is a f*****g mess.

I hear a g***n from behind me and turn to find Frankie waking up, I keep my distance from her, but crouch to her level, “hey girl, how are you feeling?”

The screaming stopped as he had passed out, but Julie secreted adrenalin and pushed it through his skin, his eyes flashed open. “its not time to sleep yet, MASTER, you haven’t taken it all yet.”

The girls turn their backs on his body, and walk away. I see Hayley walk to Leander, then my eyes look at nothing but my mate walking towards me.

I carry my girl to our friends. I looked at Lex, and then to Ace. He smiles and nods, thank the goddess, Lex will be okay. I put my girl on her feet and sat with my back against a tree and pat the ground beside me.

She surprises me by climbing into my lap, and strokes my cheeks, “Aiden, there is something I want to talk about, but I don’t know how you will take it.”

She sighs, “I have been thinking that I need a completely new start. Hayly will, more than likely, be staying on Paxos with Leander, and I think I want to stay too.”

Her head is down, so i put a finger under her chin, “okay baby. We will talk to Alpha Leander, and go get our daughter and pack our stuff.” then a sudden thought hits me, “that is if you want me to come with you, I mean….”

She shuts me up with a k**s, “You would come with us? Really? But you have a life, family and friends….” I kissed her back. “Baby, the only life I want or need is with you and Starlight. I will follow you anywhere you need to go. I love you Jess, you and our pup are everything to me.”

She flings her arms around my neck, “I love you too Aiden, more than I thought possible. But what about your position? the Alphas will be mad.”

I grinned, “baby, have you met Star and the three A’s? Their first priority is for their pack members to be happy, and I am a warrior, and a pretty good one at that, any pack would be happy to have me.”

I hear Ace call to everyone, and see the portals open, “Come on love, let’s get you home, it has been a very long 24 hours.”

We join our friends and portal back to the Howling Moon. I opened a mind-link to Star, Ace and Ash, “guys when Lex is awake, Jess and I would like a chat.”

Ace looked at me, then to Jess, his eyes looked a little sad as he nodded, “Let’s all grab some rest and I will link you tonight, is that okay?”

I nodded at him, and picked my girl up and carried her to her room. I put her down and k**s her softly, “get some sleep baby, I will come and get you at dinner.”

I turned to leave but she grabs my hand, “stay with me.” I looked deep into her eyes, “are you sure?” She doesn’t answer, just opens the door and pulls me inside.

“Will you take a bath with me darling?” Why would I ever refuse a question like that? “I would be honored. Let me go and start the water. You relax while I get it ready.”
