The Billionaire’s Maid Bride (Flanagan and Allison)

Chapter 385

Chapter 385

Allison halted. Her fingers tightened around the doorknob.

Without turning around, she calmly said, “Anything else, Dr. Dylan?” Her tone was as casual as a

patient chatting with their doctor.

“Nothing much. How’ve you been?” Dr. Dylan’s hand holding the ballpoint pen paused for a moment,

then tightened its grip on the pen.

“I’m doing great,” Allison responded.

She pulled the door open, ready to leave. Behind her, Dr. Dylan blurted out, “Allison, I broke up with

Jade.”

Allison pursed her lips, then gave them a slow bite.

She had a soft spot for Dr. Dylan, not just because he was her mom’s doctor, but also for his

gentleness and tolerance. What woman wouldn’t fall for a man like this? He did touch her heart, but

she knew she didn’t love him. He was just a ray of light in her life.

Moreover, she had brought trouble to Dr. Dylan.

He was a good man. Allison did not want to cause him any more trouble. Cutting off ties with him would

be better for him.

“Dr. Dylan, Jade is a great woman. You two are a good match.” With that, Allison opened the door and

left.

After she left, a look of disappointment filled Dr. Dylan’s eyes. He let out a bitter chuckle.

At the Lindberg’s residence.

Miranda was reading. She and Elisa had been friends for years. When she heard the butler announce

Elisa and Nicholas’ arrival, she immediately put her book down and went downstairs. “Elisa.”

Elisa walked over, “Nick, this is Mrs. Lindberg.”

Nicholas, clad in a grey tracksuit, stood tall and handsome. He greeted her.

Miranda looked at Nicholas approvingly, then led Elisa to the sofa. A servant brought over coffee. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.

Miranda said, “Give it a try. This is Zachary’s prized Blue Mountain coffee. I don’t drink coffee, but I’ve

heard it’s the bomb.”

“Then I’ll definitely give it a shot,” Elisa answered with a smile. “Miranda, is Kamilla around?”

Miranda understood Elisa’s intentions. She was friends with Elisa, and Nicholas was a catch, so of

course she approved. She instructed a maid, “Go get Ms. Kamilla here.”

The maid lowered her head, “Ms. Kamilla left this morning..”

Miranda frowned, “Where did she go? Why isn’t she back yet?”

“She went to… Crane Manor.”

Crane Manor was Aidan’s residence. Miranda sighed, “Kamilla…” She was worried about this.

Kamilla wasn’t her biological daughter, but she loved her as if she was. Aidan had no blood ties with

the Lindberg family, but the late Hailey adored him. Carter liked him too. It was fine when Kamilla used

to hang with Aidan as a clueless kid, but why did she keep it up now that she was grown? She didn’t

want to dwell on it.

“I’m sorry, Elisa, Kamilla isn’t home.”

Elisa replied, “That’s okay. I came to chat with you. With the kids gone, we can let our hair down.”

Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief on the side, “Mom, I won’t disturb you and Mrs. Lindberg then. I’ll take

off.”

Elisa knew what her son was thinking, ‘Alright.”
