The Billionaire’s Maid Bride (Flanagan and Allison)

Chapter 440

Chapter 440

Patty, of course, wouldn’t argue with Allison, “Alright, we’ll play it your way. Emma, you get the NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.

paperwork ready. Since Allison has taken you along, you should stick with her like glue and if there’s

anything you can’t handle, ‘reach out to me.”

The meeting room cleared out, leaving only Sidney, Sadie, and Kendra.

Sidney looked a little taken aback.

Sadie pursed her lips, “Sidney, why didn’t you back me up just now? I really can’t stand Emma. She

talks way too much. She rejected all the promotion offers I got, even had me take on a supporting role

in a drama.”

Sidney sighed, “Emma might be young, but she’s sharp. She turned down the promotion because she

didn’t want it to mess with your future, considering how unstable those products can be.”

Sadie retorted, “I’m not the only one in the company who’s taken on the promotion. There are loads of

artists who have! Their managers don’t give them such a hard time.”

Sidney just shook her head, left speechless by the get-rich-quick mindset of Sadie. How could the

company be willing to give Sadie such a great opportunity as a film directed by Cathy?

Sidney didn’t understand, but she didn’t dare to ask. She’d known Emma for a while and she knew

what Emma was like. Sadie was way too willful, and so was Sadie’s assistant Kendra. If she weren’t

Sadie’s relative, she definitely wouldn’t have passed the Epic Entertainment assistant exam.

Kendra patted Sadie’s shoulder, Sadie suggested, “Sidney, now that Emma is gone, I don’t have a

manager, I think Kendra would do a good job.”

Sidney replied sternly, “Sadie, do you know what kind of artists are most favored at Epic

Entertainment?”

Sadie shook her head.

Sidney said, “The obedient ones.”

Sadie went quiet for a few seconds, “Sidney, I just want a new manager.”

Sidney responded, “I’ll arrange a new manager for you. As for Kendra, she can continue to be your

assistant if you want. If you keep this up, I can arrange for a new assistant from Epic Entertainment for

you.”

Sadie went pale, “Sidney! Why can’t I choose my own manager? You know my career plan is going

pretty well. I’ve taken on Cathy’s film. Once it’s released, I’ll be a top-tier star domestically. My status

will definitely be different from now. Why can Allison, a mere supporting character, have the right to

choose her own manager?”

She strongly opposed Emma, but Patty refused her request. Then, when Allison came along, she was

able to take Emma away without any problem.

Patty didn’t say much; she just agreed.

Sidney told her, “It’s exactly because your career plan is going well that I have to arrange a suitable

manager for you.”

She couldn’t let Sadie ruin herself with a relative as a manager, which could easily affect her work.

As for Allison, Sidney was also surprised. What kind of special background did Allison have?

Sidney noticed a detail. When Patty and Allison turned to leave the meeting room, they both walked to

the door at the same time. Patty stepped aside, letting Allison go first.

In both Epic Entertainment and the entire entertainment industry, Patty was a top five manager. At Epic

Entertainment, everyone had to show respect to Patty, let alone a newbie like Allison. Did Allison have

some special background? If she did, why would she choose to. play a supporting character?

“Sadie, have you interacted with Allison at work? How much do you know about her?” Sidney asked.

Even though Allison surpassed Sadie in terms of lines memorization, acting skills, and even dedication

in actual work, Sadie didn’t take her seriously, “She has a boyfriend, who calls her often.”

Sidney was surprised, “She has a boyfriend?”

Epic Entertainment would interfere the private lives of their artists when they sign a contract.

Allison’s manager was Patty, who would never allow Allison to date.

“Does Patty know about this?” Sidney asked.
