The Billionaire’s Mistaken Prostitute Grief

Chapter 17

Amelia’s Point Of View.

“W-what?” she said almost in a whisper, I knew she was holding back her screams because Caleb and Aria might hear her. I see anger and confusion in her eyes.

I took a deep breath before quickly explaining to her what happened. When I finished explaining, she didn’t speak immediately.

“But you can abort them because he raped you, why didn’t you?” Sandy said after a while.

“You know the reason, then if I did that I might still not be happy in my life,” I answered. “I’m thankful that they came to me, but the trauma is still inside me.”

“Do you want that man to put that in jail?” she said angrily.

“He’s a Santiago, that’s impossible. He’s Chase Santiago,” I explained and her eyes widened.

“He’s a fucking Santiago?!” she said in surprise.

“Your language, Sandy! They might hear Caleb,” I said to her but she ignored me.

“He’s Chase Santiago? The father of your children is a Santiago?!” she said in disbelief.

I sighed heavily before nodding.

“It’s a very small world, even a billionaire rapes you,” she said sarcastically. “But it’s really impossible for that person to go to jail, he has so much money, he can turn everything around.”

I leaned on the sofa. “He did send a big box full of toys, I was going to throw it away but they already saw it,” I murmured. “All I know is that when Caleb won the piano contest, he found out that he already had children, his face was thick because it looked like he had done a paternity test to find out if Caleb and Aria were really his children or not.”

“He sent toys? It’s good that he knows your address?”

I rolled my eyes. “I don’t even know how he found out, I don’t want to see the face of that demonic man.”

“But you know, that Chase Santiago funds a lot of charity funds, he also funds orphanages. I just heard that he is a womanizer.”

“He’s still a useless person,” I said annoyed.

“Maybe he wants to play the role of father to your children?” Sandy said with a smile.

“Like I would agree,” I said annoyed. “The second time we met, he thought I was still a prostitute, I don’t know why he’s a Santiago because he’s stupid,” I added.

“Oh! Even if he’s handsome and rich, I might slap him when I see him!”

I didn’t pay attention to what she said. “I just hope that now that we’ve moved to a condo, he won’t bother us because we might have lived abroad for ten years,” I said. “That’s all I want him to do, leave us here and forget that we have a children. I also don’t want him to be known as the father of my children, I don’t want that demon to be the father of my children.”Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

“But Aria said they like him? How about that when they’re looking for a dad? Will you forget what he did to you to make you a complete family?” Sandy asked worriedly.

I sighed, I hadn’t thought about that yet. “But the question is, is that demonic man ready to be the father of my children? Maybe he couldn’t believe that he already had children so he took a paternity test just to be sure. Maybe he’s not ready to be a father yet because he’s a womanizer.”

“Maybe it’s his karma,” answered Sandy. “As long as whatever happens, I’ll be here and support you. Even if that dumb Caleb and Aria because he isn’t ready to be a father, I, I’m ready to be their daddy!” she added smiling making me laugh.

We talked for a few more minutes before I dressed formally and left the house after saying goodbye to Caleb and Aria. Using the new car that dad gave me, I left.

Back then I was planning what job I would apply for when we returned here, but because Caleb joined the contest, I was able to get a job. I think I can teach again, I missed teaching! When I arrived at the kindergarten school, I quickly went straight to the principal’s office, I was still laughing because they thought I didn’t accept their offer.

“This is your schedule, ma’am,” the secretary handed me a folder and I accepted it. I was also able to leave school quickly because the process was quick, my class was only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

That’s fine with me because when I finish my class I can go home right away, I’m not a regular teacher like the others here. Then there are grade levels that I won’t teach because they don’t have a subject about playing a piano.

On the way home I thought of passing by a flower shop and bought a small bouquet of flowers, I wanted to visit mom’s grave. It’s been five years since I last visited her and I have a lot to say to her.
