The CEO’S Unplanned Heir novel (Aurelia and Leopold)

Chapter 33

Chapter 33

She thought was this the start of frequent check–ins?

Were her easy days over?

Freedom lost forever?

She felt like crying. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - ©.

Laura, however, was overjoyed. The more Mr. Leopold frequented the house, the more he cared for

Aurelia.

She knew it. There was something brewing between these two.

Aurelia changed into a loose outfit.

In two more days, she’d be three months in. The morning sickness was pretty much gone. She could

eat, drink, and sleep.

The twins inside her were well–behaved, no fussing.

Maybe they knew they only had nine months with their mother before they’d be separated at birth, so

they cherished this time.

When Leopold came in, she was sitting on the couch, sipping on a smoothie, replenishing natural

pregnancy hormones.

Seeing him, she cracked a fake smile, “Mr. Leopold, welcome to dinner.”

Please stop coming over!

Leopold smirked, “Do I need a welcome to my own home?”

She choked on that one.

She almost forgot that this was his house, and she was a temporary guest!

She chuckled awkwardly, returned to the couch, and continued her smoothie.

Leopold gave her a once–over.

She wore a floral silk dress, an inexpensive item from an online store, no more than forty bucks. But

paired with her pure beauty, flawless skin, and slim physique, it exuded a sense of class and a certain

ethereal charm.

His throat bobbed, his gaze fixated on her pink lips.

They were soft, moist, and tender, like a dew–kissed rose petal in the morning.

He had tasted them, and the taste was exquisite.

As she finished her smoothie, she stuck out her little tongue, licking her lips.

He felt an inexplicable heat surge, and subconsciously loosened his collar.

Aurelia noticed and picked up the AC remote, “Mr. Leopold, is the temperature high? I’ll turn down the

AC.”

Leopold sighed.

This damned weather was indeed hot, and it didn’t help his temper.

Laura prepared dinner.

She knew what Leopold liked to eat.

11:00

“Mr. Leopold, it’s fashionable to do prenatal education these days. You should come over more often to

accompany Ms. Aurelia.”

Aurelia almost spat out her soup.

She thought, “Heavens, please don’t come over more. If he could avoid coming, it would be even

better.”

She yearned for freedom.

“Mr. Leopold has many companies to manage, he’s very busy. I can handle these minor matters

myself.”

Laura shrugged, “How can a child’s matters be minor? Prenatal education requires both parents,

especially the father. They need to feel the love of their father in the womb for healthy growth.”

She spoke so solemnly, and Aurelia couldn’t argue. She wanted to cry.

She yelled in her heart, “Laura, you’re not helping!”

Leopold shot her a sharp glance, a hint of mockery in his eyes.

She was trying to manipulate him again.

One moment she played hard to get, next she used Laura as her mouthpiece. So many tricks!

“I’ve scheduled a prenatal check–up with the doctor on Friday.”

He deliberately changed the subject, not falling for her tricks!

“Oh,” Aurelia responded blandly, burying herself in the food.

The less she spoke, the less she made mistakes. In front of the big boss, it was better to eat more and

speak less.

Leopold took a sip of his soup, a glint in his eyes as if he thought of something, “Do you like French

cuisine?” His tone seemed casual, but Aurelia felt a cold chill, her hair standing on end.

Was he still keeping score of last week’s “mistakes?”

“It’s better than I expected,” she answered cautiously.

A cold gleam flashed in Leopold’s eyes, “I thought you didn’t like it.”

Aurelia took a deep breath.

How could the big boss be so petty that not even a grain of sand can fit in his heart?

Holding on to her one minor mistake, he didn’t let it go.

“I’ve never had French cuisine before. When I mentioned the food, I was referring to fried chicken and

burgers. I don’t like those.”

Leopold smirked, a cold laugh escaping his lips.

Nothing but lies.

“You can have French cuisine every day when we go to Europe next month.”

A chill ran down Aurelia’s spine, his words sounded rather ominous.

Was he planning to keep her in Europe until she gave birth, not allowing her to return home?
