The Cherished Wife

Chapter 349

Noelle sat quietly, listening to the conversation between the two men. When she heard Charles' suggestion about Annie continuing to associate with Winter, she showed a look of surprise on her face.

"Why are you asking Annie to stay close to Winter? That woman..." Noelle bit her lip. She could see that Annie had gained some clarity after her recent ordeal, and Noelle did not want Annie to stay involved with Winter, whom she understood too well.

"Mr. Adams, what do you think?" Charles asked, looking up at Cody.

Cody hesitated for a moment, trying to comprehend Charles' intention.

He quickly realized that Charles wanted Annie to act as a pawn, staying close to Winter so that if Winter planned anything against Noelle, Annie would be aware of it.

Charles' plan was meticulous and showed how much he cared for Noelle, but it was not necessarily good for others involved.

Annie was already mentally shaken by her recent ordeal. Now, Charles was asking her to maintain her friendship with Winter, which Cody felt was somewhat cruel.

However, the offer of 10% of Adams Corp's shares and a collaboration with Collosus Group was incredibly tempting. In this scenario, Charles was offering more than he was taking.

"Mr. Adams, take your time to think it over. I'll be waiting for your positive response," Charles said, dismissing Cody and putting away the document. Noelle bit her lip and stood up with Charles. "Actually, you don't need to go to such lengths. If Winter wants to come after me, let her. I'm not the same Noelle who used to tolerate everything. You have to trust me."

"I do trust you," Charles replied with a gentle smile, patting Noelle's head. "But you must also remember to be cautious. Besides, Winter is your sister. You know her personality better than I do."

Noelle fell silent. "Alright, but if Annie doesn't want to do it, then let it be. She's already been punished enough."

Noelle was not a saint, but she was not heartless either.Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.

If Annie had been truly unforgivable, Noelle would not have sympathized with her at all. However, since Annie had realized her mistakes and repented, Noelle felt there was no need to be overly harsh.

"You have such a forgiving nature. It's no wonder you couldn't deal with Winter before."

Winter's wedding was held at the Grand Hull Hotel, one of the top hotels in Brookville. Typically, weddings at such venues required reservations well in advance.

The Harris and Shaw families took the wedding very seriously, planning an elaborate event and inviting everyone they could. Many business elites attended, not necessarily because of Joseph or the Shaws but because Joseph had used Charles Hoffman's name to attract guests.

The Hoffman family, particularly Charles, was highly respected in Brookville, and many people dreamed of associating with him Consequently, many influential business figures pulled strings to attend, making the event grand and prestigious.

Fortunately, Joseph had reserved the entire third floor of the Grand Hull, which prevented any potential embarrassment.

Joseph and his wife, along with

Julian and his wife, stood at the entrance, greeting the guests.

Everyone had smiles plastered on et

their faces, and Joseph was

yel

particularly pleased with how the wedding was shaping up.
