The Contracted Ever After (Cordelia and Ronan)

Chapter 367

Chapter 367

The christening of the only son of the famous Evans family in Millstone had not only gone viral on

Facebook but had also made it to the entertainment news.

Samantha sent a video of the christening to Cordelia with a message. [Cordelia, your son's christening,

and you're not here?]

At first, Cordelia thought, “Why would Samantha be so kind as to send me a video?” She had seen C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.

most of the videos on Facebook, and they were all similar in content. She initially thought this video

would be no different, but upon opening it, Cordelia was hit hard.

"We're divorced and leading separate lives. I can't think of any reason for her to be here."

Ronan's words kept echoing in Cordelia's ears. She knew then that Samantha wasn't being kind and

was just trying to hurt her and enjoy the drama.

Cordelia was devastated. Everyone on Facebook tactfully hid this, but Samantha had sent it directly to

Cordelia. It appeared Ronan despised her. She wasn't supposed to be at the christening, nor was she

needed in his future life.

Cordelia was about to email Ronan but ultimately closed her email tab.

The sound of Cordelia smashing her mouse made Taylor burst into her room. "What's up, Cordelia?"

Taylor asked, putting a hand on Cordelia's shoulder.

"Don't even ask," Cordelia replied.

Taylor picked up Cordelia's phone and glanced at it.

"Is this your ex? Men are all the same, afraid of women outshining them. If you do, they can't show off

in front of you. Isn't your ex's behavior all the more reason for you to excel?" Taylor consoled Cordelia.

"I want to do well. But…" Cordelia wanted to say that it wasn't Ronan's fault, that she had reasons for

going abroad.

Cordelia wanted to tell Taylor about the man in black suit and the ring, but she was afraid that

eavesdroppers would put Taylor in danger, so she remained silent.

"You're still defending him at a time like this!" Taylor said with frustration. "If you don't study hard,

Cordelia, you'll be the first one I'll look down on."

Cordelia agreed. "Yes, I want to finish my postgraduate studies as soon as possible and have my

spring admission changed to this fall. Do you think it's possible?"

"You can give it a try."

With that thought, Cordelia opened her email and sent a request to the postgraduate office.

At Adrian's Auto Works.

Adrian stood at the garage door. Looking at the video on his phone, he muttered, "Damn, Ronan is

such a jerk! I need to make him suffer!"

Adrian was no longer a driver for the Colby family. Jamie had invested in his auto repair shop. He felt

that Jamie was more reliable and easier to get along with.

Ronan was like a slippery fish, difficult to catch or more like a cunning fox, full of tricks. Adrian couldn't

handle him. The fact that Jamie helped Adrian open the shop made Adrian realize Jamie was a better

person.

A girl who came to pick up her car checked the repair work. Her car was a regular Toyota.

Hearing Adrian's words, she gently asked Adrian, "Hey, can you touch up the paint here for me?"

"Touch up the paint for her," Adrian said to his apprentice.

"Alright," The apprentice replied, coming out with his tools.

While waiting, the girl moved next to Adrian. "What are you watching?" She leaned over to see Adrian

watching the christening video of the Evans boy.

"Oh, you're interested in this? This is how the super-rich live, miles away from our lives," she said.

Adrian glanced at her and snorted. "That kid, my sister gave birth to him. I am Ronan's brother-in-law.

He didn't even invite me to the christening. I will make him pay!"

The girl just smiled softly.

"What? Don't believe me?" Adrian was not happy with her indifferent attitude.
