The Deadly Assassin Robin

The Deadly Novelssss 1241

Chapter 1241 He Returns

Robin shot a glance at the armored war vehicle where Valdemar was holed up. He didn’t answer Nikita right away.

A few Tanqueria Palace bodyguards opened the back of the armored vehicle and yanked Valdemar out.

He saw Nikita and the presidential Ironclad Guards standing in front of Robin, eyes wide with respect. He exploded.

He got news about the palace’s abandonment of the hunt for Divine Drakebane. “Why didn’t you stop Tanqueria from making this mistake?” His voice was laced with fury.

“We’re a nuclear superpower, a nation that has defeated the world’s deadliest enemies! How can we bow to a mercenary warrior?”

He jabbed a finger at Robin. “My forces can take Divine Drakebane down right here!”

“Even if it means both of us dying, we cannot allow Tanqueria’s dignity to be tarnished!”

Nikita’s voice was a sharp, commanding edge. “Valdemar, shut up!”

He pointed at the guards. “Take him! Immediately. To Tanqueria’s highest military tribunal.”

“You cowards!” Valdemar fought against the guards, turning back to glare at Robin. Divine Drakebane, Tanqueria’s protectors will never let you get away with this!”

Nikita walked up to Robin and Jethro, shrugging lightly “Mr. Ramsey, please. I, along with some high- ranking members of Tanqueria Palace, will personally escort you out.”

“Rest easy, you and your group are completely safe within Tanqueria.”

Robin’s gaze shifted to Valdemar, who stood smugly, still defiant. Robin’s lips curled into a dark chuckle.

Then, he placed one foot on the frozen ground.

Crack! A sharp sound split the air as a jagged line spread outward from where his foot had struck.

Each step he took toward the plane made the ground tremble, a low hum of power vibrating beneath him.

Valdemar and the National Security Bureau officers suddenly clutched their chests, gasping for breath.

As Robin’s footsteps echoed seven times, three officers from the Bureau collapsed, blood spilling from their mouths. They died right there.

Nikita stopped dead in his tracks, his eyes wide with disbelief. A long, heavy sigh escaped him.

“Mr. Ambassador, are you really going back on our agreement?” Robin’s voice held an ominous weight.

Nikita rushed forward, catching up to Robin. “Mr. Ramsey, please. Tanqueria Palace never breaks its word.”

Robin placed a hand firmly on Nikita’s shoulder. “That’s not always true.”

He looked into Nikita’s eyes, cold and unwavering. “In the future, be more careful with your promises.

Before Nikita or anyone else could speak, Robin turned away. “Gustov, rest up. We’ll fight again when the time comes.”

“Oh, and the Snow Dragon Pool water that Alexander carries should help heal your wounds!”

With that, Robin, Jethro, and the others made their way to the waiting plane.

Gustov bowed deeply, then handed the Tanqueria War God Token to Alexander.

“From today on, the position of Tanqueria’s God of War belongs to Alexander. I retire from politics to focus on quiet meditation.”

“Mr. Drakebane, until we meet again!”

Gustov’s eyes lingered on Robin’s retreating figure, dark and weathered with the years, yet there was a flicker of something sharp in them.

He paused, the weight of unspoken thoughts pressing on him. Then, slowly, he spoke. “Mr. Drakebane, Dragon Ridge Valley may hold the answers you seek.”

Robin stopped cold. His muscles tensed.

He turned, catching the tremor in Gustov’s gaze.

There it was. The Tanqueria God of War knew something. Something about his grandfather and his father. Something Robin couldn’t find.

Gustov’s eyes told him without words. Dragon Ridge Valley had the secret Robin craved.

His heart raced as he boarded the plane, leaving the icy expanse of a behind.

Gustov let out a long, exhausted sigh.

The decision had come too late.

Tanqueria was no longer the mighty force it once was.

The leadership had misjudged their own strength. They’d blundered repeatedly with Divine Drakebane, and it nearly cost them everything.

They’d thought they could use this opportunity to rid themselves of a dangerous foe. A mistake.

They hadn’t known his strength, his limitless power.

Yakonov’s errors were clear. Yet, time and time again, they chose pride over sense, pushing forward into self–destruction.

Nikita’s final move–meant to limit damage–couldn’t save Tanqueria’s dignity on the world stage.

The Tanqueria of today was a shadow of its former self

The West’s pressure, the constant opposition from the HexaPoint Tower, had weakened them.

Their policies–flawed and misguided–had drained the nation’s power,

Losing Draconia was the final blow. Tanqueria would fall, and there would be no rising from it.

Divine Drakebane had simply been the spark. A spark that ignited everything.

A superweapon could end him, sure.

But in the process, it would destroy Tanqueria too.

Their wrong choices had led them to a place of shame

All across the globe, whispers spread–Tanqueria, once invincible, had bowed to Divine Drakebane.

And worse, he was back. noveldrama

His return? It meant crushing Tanqueria with one decisive strike.

The organizations that had waited 20 days, ready to cheer their victory, now quivered in fear.

No one doubted that Divine Drakebane would exact vengeance on them as well.

Tanqueria’s capitulation was only the beginning.

Inside the cold, sterile walls of the Westeria Residence Intelligence Bureau, Snivy leaned closer to Zayn, pushing him harder.

“Your Highness,” Snivy coaxed, his voice smooth, “if we get Shirley to reveal where Robin’s super weapon system is, your name will be made. You’ll be a hero.

“It will cement your rule as Lord Westeria.

“With that kind of triumph, no one will dare challenge you.”

Zayn’s brow furrowed, his lips pressing into a tight line. “But look at her. How do you expect me to make Shirley talk? If she gets hurt… the maniacs at Dragon Palace will destroy me.”

“They don’t even know she’s here, Your Highness,” Snivy insisted, his eyes glinting.

“Elliott and the others are locked away in my office.

“If this gets out, it’ll turn into chaos.”

Zayn paused, his hand running through his hair, frustration mounting. “We can’t rush it. Let them calm down. No mistakes.

“When they’re ready, we’ll figure out how to get the super weapon’s location.”

Vladimir stood silently, watching, knowing Zayn wasn’t willing to break Shirley just yet. He sighed, stepping back.

As they exited the office, Snivy’s device beeped, a message from the Dark Syndicate flashing on the screen.

“Divine Drakebane is on his way back. Find the super weapon system fast.”

“And eliminate Catherine and the others. If you still can’t find it, kidnap Shirley and frame the Panacea Ocean Warriors Alliance.”

Vladimir’s lips curled into a dark smile. “Understood, Dark Lord.” His eyes shimmered with a cold, dangerous light.
