The Diary Of My Dead Wife

Chapter 38: Hypnosis

Chapter 38: Hypnosis

Lincoln arranged for Sophie to see a psychiatrist when she suddenly remembered a scene while she was under hypnosis.

She was struggling desperately in the shabby and cold factory building.

Edith stood up and scratched her face with one knife at a time.

Sophie tried to escape, but Edith grabbed her hair, causing her to fall to the ground.

Edith repeatedly knocked her to the ground.

The violent collision and pain shattered her memories, tearing and splicing them back and forth like broken pictures.

Until her mind went completely black and she lost consciousness.

On the other hand, she appeared to hear another person's footsteps in the darkness, prompting Edith's voice to beg for mercy.

"You! Allow me to leave! Even though you obviously permitted me to kidnap Sophie, you still assisted her!"

"I requested that you kidnap her, but I never intended for her to die!" Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

However, the man's voice sounded very familiar.

"What a joke.Do you really care about that bitch?"

The man, on the other hand, remained silent.

After a moment of silence, Edith's voice grew weaker, "No way! You won't kill me.We're together!"

Until Edith struggled for a while and then lost her voice completely.

Sophie tried to open her eyes, but when she did, she saw a very familiar face. It was Tristan's! His face was stained with blood, and his eyes were horribly cold.

He slid the murderous dagger into Sophie's hand while wearing gloves.

Tristan didn't say anything to her.

He sprayed her with a strange but cold medicine.

Then, in his low voice, he said something in her ear, and her consciousness returned.

Bult, with hypnosis and the guidance of his voice, the memories that had been blocked began to emerge one by one.

He untied her memories before hypnotizing her again.

"Remember, you killed Edith” he said.

"I killed Edith” she responded.

"You haven't seen me.From beginning to end, it's just you and Edith." Sophie abruptly opened her eyes in the hypnotist's office.

"It appears that you all remember what happened?" the snow-haired hypnotist next to her said with satisfaction in his eyes.

"Yes? “ She did not murder anyone.Zac did not murder anyone.

Tristan calculated everything from beginning to end.Tristan assumed Zac would take the fall in order to keep her.Tristan had already planned everything, and he had complete control over her the entire time.

‘If Edith was the only one, how could Sophie breakthrough so many protections and be kidnapped from Zac?' Sophie looked straight into Tristan's eyes as if she saw hope in his despair.

Sophie and Lincoln worked extensively to reverse Zac's verdict.

Sophie was the first witness, but she was now married to Zac, so the judge and jury might not believe everything she said.

Lincoln also found a second witness, a villager who was present at the time of the incident.

Simultaneously, the villager quietly recorded the incident scene on his mobile phone.

The villager, on the other hand, was fearful and never dared to speak up.

After Lincoln came forward and promised to pay the other party a large sum of money and guarantee his and his family's personal safety at any time, he finally agreed to testify in court.

Now, both the witness and the evidence were presented.

The police were given the order to arrest Tristan.

However, when they arrived, the target had disappeared.

Things were not right, as Tristan had long suspected.

Everything had been too smooth lately, leaving him uneasy and unsure of what to expect next.
