CHAPTER 10
Traizle
“It was because you are an oddball,” I answered back. “Who knows, you might just want to trick me and when the time comes, I will accept your offer and give up on my other sidelines. You will tell me you did not offer something like that.” I added truthfully.
“You are thinking in advance, aren’t you?” Said Zarsuelo. “If you want me to prove that I will not trick you afterward, I can bring the contract and let you have witnesses like an attorney or lawyer.” he added.
He is serious about me working for him. Do I really deserve that offer?
“No need,” I replied.”I will work for you if you promise to pay me in advance.” I added.
“Give your salaries in advance? No problem! How much do you want?” He answered excitedly.
“Let me think about it.” I answered.
“Why did you change your mind now?” Zarsuelo asked, still excited about the news that I would be working with him soon.
“I am in need of money.” I answered.
“That is why you wanted to take my offer now?” He asked back.
“Yes, I wanted to use you to pay off my debts,” I answered truthfully. “How does it feel?” I asked.
If working with him will help me, then I will gladly accept that.
“How big is your debt that you do not have any choice to take my offer?” Zarsuelo asked.
“I talked to the landlord of our house a while ago, saying I needed to pay for the house rent. She even asked for the electricity and water bill I have not been able to pay since last month. I did not have the money to pay for her since I needed to keep some for Layzen and Lyndon’s allowance and for our everyday expenses,” I shared. “And what happened tonight added as well.” I added.
“The accident?” Zarsuelo asked.
“Yes, I told the man that I would pay him tomorrow for the scratches I made on his car. I was lucky to calm him down and avoid going to the police.” I continued.
“Does he know what happened to you?” He asked. “No, it is my fault in the first place. So he does not need to know what happened to me.” I answered.
“How can you say that it was your fault?” Zarsuelo asked again.
“While over thinking, I did not know that the lights turned to green. One thing I know, I flew and fell, bumped into some vehicles I should not have.” I explained.
“Where did the accident happen?” Zarsuelo asked.
“South board.” I replied.
“You will work for me now, right?” He asked, maybe assuring me I wouldn’t run away.Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
“I need to.” I answered.
“You asked me how it feels to be used?” He asked me, so I nodded my head. “Well, it’s good. Since you will work for me now, if there is a bad way to make you work for me, I should have done that before.” he answered, smiling widely.
“Bad way your a*s.” I replied.
“Come on, I will pay for your hospital bill,” Zarsuelo said something that made me look at him. “Why? Think of this as my gift for accepting my offer. And this is nothing to me. I can even buy this hospital if I want to. So, do not get worried about it.” he confidently continued.
He is rich indeed.
Zarsuelo even dropped me off at our house. Lyndon was waiting in front of the gate with Layzen. Zarsuelo did really tell them.
“I heard what happened to you?” Lyndon asked as he opened the door of the car.
“Can you help me first?” I asked for help.
Lyndon immediately assisted me.
“You should throw that old motorcycle away. Look what happened to you!” Lyndon said, scolding his older sister as we walked inside of our house.
“That old motorcycle has nothing to do with what happened. How can you blame a non-living thing?” I asked.
“How can you blame your a*s,” he said, copying my voice. “As I remember, you will definitely blame the things that might get in your way.” he added.
“Why are you scolding me too much?” I asked as he guided me to sit in the chair. “Where is Layzen?” I asked when I noticed that Layzen did not follow us.
“Maybe he is with Matthew,” Lyndon answered, saying his first name without thinking. “Oho, look at your face. He lost to our game last time. He told me to call his name.” Lyndon explained.
He saw through me.
“I also heard it from him.” I answered.
“We even played last day, when he was in Singapore. He sure knows how to play, unlike his teammates.” he shared.
“You know he went to Singapore?” I asked wondering.
“He told me.” he answered casually, as if they knew each other for years already.
“Can you look for Lazyen ou-” I was not able to finish my sentence when Layzen came with Zarsuelo.
“Traizle, Matthew brought his toys to play with me.” Layzen exclaimed while holding the toys Zarsuelo brought.
I will not complain to Zarsuelo. First, Layzen is too happy. And lastly, Zarsuelo helped me.
“Are you going home?” I asked Zarsuelo.
“Eh? The Boss told me to play with him tonight.” he answered as he sat beside Layzen.
“Boss?” I repeated.
“Do you remember that I applied as his playmate the last time? Layzen accepted the offer a while ago.” he answered.
“When will you go home?” I asked again.
“Don’t know-we order for our dinner as well. Let me eat here.” Zarsuelo answered.
“We?” I repeated again.
“I helped Matthew to order. We have ordered your favorite for you to heal fast.” Layzen answered for Zarsuelo.
I can not help but glare at Zarsuelo. He is spoiling my brothers too much. If this continues, they will get used to it.
“Traizle’s mad. Help me.” I heard Zarsuelo whispering to Layzen.
“Don’t be mad at him, we even ordered your favourite food. Right, Lyndon?” Layzen said, also getting Lyndon’s approval.
When the food they ordered came, Lyndon prepared it for us. Lyndon told me he would do everything for now since the doctor advised that I should rest and stop moving too much for weeks.
“It is eleven already, don’t you like to go home?” I asked Zarsuelo.
“No.” Zarsuelo answered.
They are now playing games with Lyndon and Layzen as their cheerleaders.
“Don’t you have any work to do?” I asked.
“Finished them all already.” he answered, still focused on the game they are playing.
“Where are you?” Lyndon butted in.
“Find me.” Zarsuelo excitedly answered.
This oddball Zarsuelo.
“Layzen, you have to sleep now. You still have class tomorrow.” I told Layzen.
“But we are still playing.” Layzen answered as if he were one of the players.
“Better stop that game before I decide to delete that game of yours, Lyndon.” I warned him.
“Ahh why!” Zarsuelo whined. “Don’t do that. That is not nice.” he added.
“Then go home already!” I fussed.
“Can I spend the night here? We plan to play another game.” Zarsuelo replied.
“Go home, Zarsuelo!” I furiously said.
Can this oddball Zarsuelo act like his age?
