Felix had heard about the Top Ten Menaces before from Laura. Those ten people represented the most powerful young talents in Martial City. They were each

extraordinary in their own right.

"What are you going to do about Jared? He's definitely going to keep causing trouble for you," Laura said.

He replied, "Don't worry about it. I'll handle it."

Upstairs, Natalie stepped out of the elevator. She was followed by two elderly men, who were bodyguards assigned by Harmony Clinic to protect her. Their presence alone spoke volumes about her status.

"Well, well! If it isn't my dear Nattie. What brings you back to North City? Do you miss me already?" Nellie greeted her with a sly smile.

Natalie's eyes flashed with fear, and she instinctively took a step back. "Please stop joking around. I'd rather not hug you."

Quickly, Natalie approached Delilah and greeted her respectfully, "Hello, Madam Goddard."

For once, Delilah's face softened with a smile. "Are you having trouble again, little one?"

"Yes, I was hoping you could help me," Natalie said.

As the sun set, Felix stood by the window of a two-story mixed-use property, gazing out at the bustling street below. For a moment, he felt a strange sense of disorientation.

It was his first time seeing Martial City's nightlife. Given its neon lights and lively streets, it wasn't all that different from a modern metropolis.

He had entered the city during the afternoon of the previous day. By the time he left Harmony Clinic, it was still daylight.

He'd already purchased the commodity housing, which had previously been used as a medical clinic. It didn't require much renovation. With just a bit of cleaning up, it was good to go. There were quite a few empty clinics like this in North City, though Felix wasn't sure why.

According to Harmony Clinic's policy, if he had the money, he could buy the property himself and get reimbursed later. If he didn't, he could pick a location first. Afterward, Harmony Clinic would send someone to make the purchase for him, granting him full use of the property.

"I wonder when I'll encounter him again," Felix thought.

When Jared left earlier, Felix could no longer sense the presence of the Dragonspine. His speed alone was a clear indicator of how powerful he was. Luckily, Felix hadn't acted recklessly at the time.

He pulled out his phone and called Nala. It took a long time before she finally answered.

"Felix, where are you? Are you okay?" Her voice was urgent, laced with deep

concern.

"I'm fine for now. I've settled down in North City."

In Martial City, Nala was the only person Felix could fully confide in without fear of

betrayal or hidden agendas. He told her everything that had happened.noveldrama

"You're making the right choice," she said. "Joining Harmony Clinic is definitely the best way to improve your skills and strength. They pretty much have a monopoly on herbs. If you were on your own, it'd be nearly impossible to manage.

"But one thing I don't get why didn't you accept Delilah's offer to take you as her disciple?"

That was exactly what Felix wanted to ask about. "Is Delilah really that amazing?"

Nala let out a wry laugh. "Delilah is a legend in Martial City. Even many of the top powerhouses owe her favors. Being called the second-best alchemist in Martial City is no exaggeration.

"From what I've heard, she's trustworthy, despite her peculiar personality. If you became her disciple, you'd save yourself a lot of trouble and gain a powerful backer in Martial City."

Felix had a rude awakening. Although he hadn't provoked anyone, that didn't mean they

Just then, two cars pulled up outside. Jared stepped out and looked up directly at

Felix standing by the second-floor window.

Their eyes met.

"Hello, I'm back. Let's see who's going to save you this time," Jared said.

Felix slowly smiled and dialed the clinic. "This is Felix. I need to speak to Delilah."
