Warrior 141
RYN
My heart raced as the weight of the entire situation dawned on me.
Did Theon just lose his job trying to defend me? And now Prince Miro is in a hot seat?
Dark silence settled on the table, only permeated by the soft sound of music and the soft chatter of people in the hall.
I wonder if they can see the drama unfolding.
"Well, I'm waiting for your answer." The King intensified his glare and Prince Miro leaned back in his seat, deep in thought. After a thick moment of anticipation, Miro looked at his father. "I do not permit Ryn Ashmore to partake in this duty." I almost sighed in relief.
The King blinked in surprise, but then his face contorted in a fit of rage. "I knew you'd always be a d gritted out. "You're fired! Dutton?" He called without taking his eyes off his green-eyed son.
"Yes, your Majesty." Dutton replied with a lazy smile and I immediately broke out in sweat.
"You are now appointed Commander of the Elites. What. Say. You?"
Dutton chuckled. "I give full permission for Ryn Ashmore to partake in this duty."

The King turned to me with a predatory smile. "Now, Miss Ashmore, what do you say? Will you go with our guest here and help us save this kingdom or...?"
I could barely breathe as I looked at Miro, who had his eyes down in defeat. Mr. Cresswell seemed upset but looked defeated as well under the glare of his wife and Theon simply sat in his chair, glaring at his father while also seeming deep in thought. I matched the stare of the other Elites, seeing their smug smile.
It would be selfish of me to ask more of the twins after all they've done for me. I am on my own now and I have to find a way out of this mess.
"What happens if I say no?" I asked with a leveled voice.
The King's mood darkened. "We lose this secret and it will be all your fault!"
"False. I get to fight Olive and win the secret." Theon interjected, but his father snarled.
"There will be no fight! It's either Miss. Ashmore goes with him or we lose the ability to bring Dominic down!"
I blinked in surprise. Dominic Tarrent? The one who killed the twins' sister?
Now everything has changed. I have to help. I have to do something. Coming to a decision, I took a deep breath and squared my shoulders. "I will say yes but I have conditions."
"Ryn." Theon warned, but I ignored him.
The King watched me warily. "What conditions?"
"She's not doing anything." Theon objected.
The King glared at his son before whispering something to one of his men.

I turned to one whom I am heart-achingly in love with and lowered myself to my haunches by his side. I wanted to touch him, but I was scared he might react badly, so I stared up at him and his blue eyes slid to mine. "Can you trust me?" I whispered. "Please?" His brows furrowed, but he gave me a subtle nod, which I returned before rising to my feet.
The man, the King whispered to, left the table, and shortly after Chelsea arrived.
"Your Majesty." She bowed and then gave me a nasty stare-down
"Your....man here has been antagonizing me and preventing Ryn from taking a vital decision."
Chelsea frowned in surprise.
"Can you please make him a little more compliant?" The King strained a smile.
"Of course, your majesty." Chelsea bowed, before lowering herself to Theon's ear.
I watched as she whispered something and his eyes shimmered pink before he visibly relaxed. T. shock and all I saw was defeat in his eyes.
"Wow. What is that?" Olive crossed his legs in glee.
"A kingdom secret." The King replied. "Now, to business." He faced me. "What are your conditions, Miss?"
I can't believe I am in a negotiating position with the Alpha King. I have to be smart.

"I want the King's binding word. Immediately, I say yes to Prince Olive. I want Prince Theon and Prince Miro reinstated back to their positions permanently." The King smiled, about to agree.
"AND," I raised a finger. "I want to be declared a permanent graduate of the Elite program."
His smile turned upside down, wondering what the catch was. "What does it matter? You won't be around to enjoy the title."
"I know, but I came this far. I'd like to know I accomplished something."
The King stared at me for a long moment, probably trying to find loopholes in my demands. "Only a commander can declare you a graduate."
"Well," I motioned to Director Dutton, who scowled at me. "That's what he is for, right?"
They both sent me murderous glares. "Fine." The King said. "You have yourself a deal."
I took a deep breath and sighed before turning to Prince Olive. He wasn't bad looking at all. If anything, he had that special sauce of beauty that all princes seem to have, but I was in no way attracted to this man. "Yes." I said to him as he watched me with a satisfied gaze. "I will go with you." "Perfect." The King murmured before giving Dutton a subtle nod
My eyes slid to Miro, who seemed to be lost in thought, and I understood how hard it must have been for him to choose -between his desire for revenge and my safety.
The new commander rose to his feet and faced me, I raised my chin and faced him, too.
Suddenly, his eyes glowed red. "By the power bestowed upon me by my title, I, Commander Edgar Dutton, declare you, Ryn Ashmore, a full graduate of the Elite Program."
My shoulders sagged with relief as I looked Theon's way and discovered that his eyes had gone dull again.
I fulfilled my end of the bet.

I graduated, and he has won against his father. I am now free of any obligation from Theon. Hopefully, he and Miro would be able to get the revenge they need for their sister.
Olive drew me into his lap and kissed my cheek while rubbing my waist and butt. Suddenly, I began to feel that familiar itch in my spine take place.
"You're mine now, pretty little thing." He whispered in my ear while my eyes stayed glued to Theon. Before I knew it, he brought out a switchblade and cut my arm. I flinched, biting my lip to suppress the pain, and everyone watched in horror as Olive's tongue lapped at my blood.
A deadly shiver seized me. "Sorry, my love. I couldn't help myself." Olive said. "Can't wait to cut and watch you bleed while I fuck you."
I shivered in fear.
At his words, Theon's eyes ignited with rage and before I knew it, he drew me out of Olive's lap and smashed a whole bottle of champagne against Olive's head.
The music stopped, and the entire hall gasped. Even I trembled with shock. Theon gripped his head in pain, crying out, and as Olive rose to his feet and prepared to punch him in the head, someone held his arm.
Olive turned to see Miro with darkened eyes and before he could react, Miro head-butted him.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" The King bellowed as Olive staggered back.. "STAND DOWN!"
But it was too late.C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.
A full-fledged fight broke out between Miro and Olive and I watched in horror as these two giants matched each other blow for blow and kick for kick.
The fight broke out into the main hall and people ooohed and scooted back as they watched the two princes roll on top of each other on the floor. Miro kicked Olive off before jumping to his feet and Olive shook his head before rising too.
I watched Miro remove his suit jacket and bow tie before unbuttoning the first few buttons of his crisp white shirt. He rolled up his sleeves, revealing his sleeve tattoo and if not for the severity of the situation, I would have found that act irrevocably hot.
Olive removed his shirt altogether and pointed a forefinger at Miro. "You have the chance to stop now." Olive warned. "That girl is mine and I am going to do so much worse to her when I get home."
Miro didn't say a word. He simply curled his hands into fists and got into defense mode.
"Very well, then." Olive said, twisting his neck left and right before his eyes darkened. Instantly, the air became charged with the most intimidating aura that made all the hairs on my skin stand erect. Theon groaned again, catching my attention, and I found him on one knee, struggling to get up. I rushed to his side, intent on helping, but then Chelsea pushed me out of the way. Landing on my side, I looked up to see Chelsea's eyes glow yellow.
"He's mine!" She snarled. "Stay the fuck away from him!"
I sighed as I rose to my feet. Luckily for me, Sadie came in just in time to see me remove my shoes and my earrings.
"What's going on?" She asked in concern, collecting my earrings as I gave it to her.

"Later, Sadie." I said, removing my necklace as well and feeling much lighter as I handed it to her. "Right now, a certain bitch needs a motherfucking lesson," "Bring it on, bitch!" Chelsea snarled, and that's when I lunged for her.
