Chapter 1396
Chapter 1396:
“Will you let his tongue explore elsewhere?”
Scarlette faltered, caught off guard. “What?”
Kenji’s words dripped like honey laced with venom as he slowly asked, “Will you let his tongue explore your private parts?”
Crimson heat spread across Scarlette’s cheeks. After an eternity of silence, she managed what she hoped was a cutting response. “I wouldn’t allow him to stoop so low. Only you deserve that.”
Her words punctured Kenji’s anger like a balloon. “You consider that stooping low?” A genuine laugh escaped his lips.
Scarlette caught her lower lip between her teeth, momentarily speechless.
“Very well,” Kenji exhaled dramatically. “Since I came to apologize, I suppose I’ll have to stoop to those depths today.”
The fight drained from Scarlette’s body, her anger dissipating like morning mist. Her eyes, round and expectant, fixed on his mouth. Kenji read her desire as clearly as words on a page.
“You’ve been yearning for me, haven’t you?” he taunted softly.
“Miss you? How conceited,” Scarlette scoffed, though her voice trembled. “Your worthless mouth means nothing to me.”
But when Kenji’s hand traced along her thigh, her resistance shattered like spun glass.
“If you haven’t missed me, why do your legs part so eagerly? Feeling weak already?” Kenji’s voice held dark amusement.
Scarlette closed her eyes. “I’m going to sleep now.”
Kenji loosened his hold. “Keep your mouth covered. If your parents hear your moans and come in, I won’t stop.”
At his command, Scarlette immediately tensed and quickly covered her mouth with her hands.
However, ever cunning, Kenji disguised his punishment as gentle caresses, masking it as an apology. He was punishing her for consuming his thoughts day and night, and for embracing other men while he recovered in the hospital.
When it was over, the sheets were damp, and Scarlette’s pillow was soaked with tears as she cried softly, silently cursing him.
Kenji got up and kissed her, adopting the role of comforter after leaving her vulnerable. “The pain will fade soon,” he whispered.
He shook the bed frame gently, noting how unstable it was. Any forceful movement would certainly create noise.noveldrama
Kenji spread a heavy blanket on the floor and carefully helped her down. “Kneel,” he commanded, gently grasping her slender calf. “Does this position hurt your knees?”
Scarlette raised her hips slightly, blinking in confusion. “Are we going to do it in this position?”
Kenji responded dryly, “What else do you think? Did I sneak in here just to perform a magic trick?”
He hadn’t intended to rush things, but the frustration he’d endured at dinner was too pressing to ignore.
Scarlette wasn’t truly in the mood, but she was familiar enough with his caresses to accept the situation. After a brief pause, she decided to make the best of it. “Let’s call a truce for now.”
Kenji looked at her incredulously. “Did your brain stop developing when you were eight? What kind of adult speaks like that?”
Scarlette scoffed, “You’re always so harsh. You’re nothing compared to Roscoe.”
Kenji’s expression darkened ominously. “Ah, that explains why you’re so fond of him.”
