The Wolf Who hated alphas

Chapter 30 – The house of the Abrams

Karim asked her not to enter his house when they returned there.

They didn’t know where Otto had gone. But, Karim didn’t mind. Soon, they would leave.

“That was the last place we know the Abrams were. Our clan searched for Lincoln there, thinking he’d be at his wife’s house.” – Verena gave the map to Sera. “I’m sorry, dear, that my husband’s clan did something so horrible to your mother.”

Sera denied with her head and wrote:

“It’s not your fault ma’am. We’ll soon change that.” – she wrote and soon after, smiled taking Karim’s hand. Sera knew that Verena could do nothing to stop her husband from taking revenge.

They said goodbye and Verena waved.

Karim offered to drive in Jae Hyun’s place but he denied it.

“I’m not sleepy like…”

At that moment a headache seized him and he leaned on the car.

“Are you okay?” – Karim asked and Sera looked at him, worried.NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.

Jae Hyun sighed, recomposing himself.

“Yes, I am. But I accept your proposal to direct.”

When they hit the road, Jae Hyun recounted making Kallias sleep temporarily.

“A little revenge for my imprisonment in the past.” – he laughed. “Kallias is fighting my spell. But fear not. We still have some time.

The journey was a bit long and Sera was tense with the possible presence of Kallias. However, she trusted Jae Hyun and his protection.

She smiled as she felt the wind on her face and aspirated the fresh air from that spot. The house of the Abrams was a little far from the city, in a village in the interior.

The place was beautiful and wooded. All the houses had equal sizes and were very simple.

The small market was full of people buying fruit and vegetables. Until someone saw Sera and approached.

The person was a nice little gentleman with white hair and plaid shirt.

Karim asked him if he knew the Abrams.

“Of course, young man. I’ve been here since the birth of Lord Abrams. It was too sad to see sweet Ada leave the village.”

“And do you know why she left you?” – Karim continued.

“A mysterious disease has affected mother and grandmother. We don’t know what it is until today. We wolves are strong and a disease like this attack us is something at least strange. However, the result was sweet Ada sent away to marry this Cohen. I was against it at the time and tried along with some others to convince Mr. Abrams not to do that. ” – he sighed.

Karim and Sera felt a chill at that time. So it was a technically known fact, which Lincoln did with Damia Ramesses.

“Soon after, Mr. Abrams fell ill and passed away with sadness, I think. He left the key to the house with me in case Ada returned. I waited, but it did not happen.” – He said sad.

It will be in a post-hand thrust on his arm, comforting him.

“However, I think I have something that belongs to you, miss. You look a lot like her, the same eyes. If your name is Sera, I believe your mother left something for you.”

The group was surprised, Sera even more so. However, she believed in destiny. Mother did not send them there atoa.

With a wave, she and the two boys followed the man. Leaving his little house, you brought a small package with a label with the name of Sera written. But his father’s surname was not there, only Sera Abrams and the date 12 years ago.

“You can go. No one touched anything when your grandfather, Cole, was gone.” – he handed a key to Sera. “It’s the last house near the Forest.”

“Thank you sir…” – Sera smiled as she wrote.

“Adam Bravus. It was a pleasure, young lady. Everyone here had a great appreciation for your family.”

Sera waved as they left Adam behind and she pressed the package tightly against her chest as she approached the house.

Sera trembled as she put the key in the lock. When she opened it, she coughed and looked for the switch quickly. Finally, she managed to light it.

The house was exactly as she had seen in the vision that Kallias showed her. The kitchen was the same as Sera had seen her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother reunite.

She trembled to see stains on the floor and on the table and knew they were blood. Marks that would never leave that place. Maybe that’s why her grandfather died. The remains brought memories and this was not the happiest to relive.

Sera passed her hand by the table, sad. He wished it was not so.

The noise of the curtains and windows being opened removed her from her reverie. As Kim aired the place, Karim hugged her. He didn’t say anything, but he didn’t have to.

Finally, Sera put the box on the table and opened it with a knife. Inside there was a red notebook with her name written in impeccable handwriting, that of her mother.

Trembling, she opened, not knowing what to expect.

‘Daughter, this is the last resort I have to tell you the whole truth. I sent it to my home, for it is safer, away from Lincoln.’

Sera pressed the notebook hard, it really wasn’t safe. She kept reading:

‘I don’t know how old you are now, I hope that you are already an adult and that you do not make the same mistakes as me. And that this content is unnecessary, and that I tell you everything myself. But the last thing Mother could give me was a vision that I am about to die. ‘

Sera wanted to cry, but she was strong and held her tears at that moment. She moved the sheet to the next page and continued:

‘When I was young I was born blessed by Mother, with incredible power and had the joy of my family. But in my arrogance I boasted of being mine. I felt powerful, strong, invincible.

Until my wolf did not obey me anymore and hurt many. I was lucky that no one was seriously injured, however, it brought me fear and our family. So I tried to contain myself, but it wasn’t possible. Something called me to transform.

I’m going to tell you a secret that we weren’t taught. We’re not the ones who have control over our wolves. It’s our connection to Mother. The part of love is her wisdom that we have in us. If this connection is not right, if we do not listen to Mother and only receive power, we do not have control and our wolf goes crazy. One day, everyone will go crazy and lose their wolves. I knew that and I was a coward, forgive me.

However, there are remarkable events to tell you before my repentance.

After I tried to contain my wolf, I met a man, Kallias. ‘

At that moment, Sera looked at Jae Hyun but he did not outline any expression.

‘He was my mentor, helped me to control myself and also to know more about who I was and about my powers. I thought I was in love with him, but it was a childish crush on someone who paid attention to me.

Kallias already loved someone and I wished that for myself one day. Unfortunately, my arrogance did not give me the opportunity to meet someone.

I was doing well though, there were still some outbursts of anger and lack of control. This led me to an unfortunate misfortune. Where I murdered your grandmother and great-grandmother.

I’m a murderer! Forgive me, Sera. I can’t leave you anything but excuses, much love and a gift.

The gift is my own power given by Mother. I denied it for years. I didn’t hear it, I didn’t use it for the greater good, I hid it from me and hid yours too. Forgive me for my fear of making you so fragile and for not being there to protect you.

I love you, Sera. You’re the only thing I’m proud of. ‘

Sera released the paper, trembling. Karim hugged her as tears trickled down her face. She leaned her head against his chest and sobbed. Knowing the true image of her mother left her shattered.

When the chaos passed, Jae Hyun showed what was on the next page. A map to the middle of the forest in a cave.

Without further ado, they passed through the forest and entered the cave. There was a door, just like Damia’s.

Sera opened it with her blood and I go to her mother, dressed in red as if she had not died.

When Sera received her power and saw her, Ada hugged her. And Sera knew that even in spite of everything, she would still miss that hug.
