Chapter 48
Finlay was browsing for earrings in a shop within the Ironhorn Alliance when he heard the special notification sound.
Obviously, he was choosing them for Analise. He had heard these were the latest designs in the Ironhorn Alliance, which were highly popular among females.
Scott had ordered Finlay to protect Analise at all times if a fight broke out. Because of this, he was staying near Jay's house in a nearby alley.
When Finlay overheard a salesperson recommending the earrings to other females and males, he couldn't resist taking a look himself.
The designs were all beautiful and mostly featured tassels, which made it difficult for him to choose. Without his strategist, Finlay had to rely purely on his own instincts.
Yet, he was sure that if Analise saw he had bought her earrings, she would be delighted.
After reading Analise's latest post, Finlay found himself puzzled.
She was supposed to be helping Ironhorn Alliance, but now she had suddenly decided to help others too. And judging by her tone, the issue of the fake pure- human female truly enraged her.
Finlay thought to himself that it was all Scott's fault for not believing Analise earlier, but after reconsidering, he decided not to interfere. This was Analise's choice, and she must have her reasons. His only responsibility was to ensure her safety.
"Alright, I've decided. I'll take the silver leaf design in the middle," Finlay said as he pointed at the tassel earrings on the counter.
He tucked the small gift box into his pocket. Then, he continued wandering the streets within this particular district cheerfully with the people from Stormclaw Alliance, blending in like ordinary Ironhorn locals.noveldrama

"Huh? Why did she suddenly post on Cosmoseek? And she's inviting other alliances over, even offering them free calming services!"
Sawyer slammed his coffee cup onto the ground. Fury was written all over his face as he glared at his interface. "I knew it! They were never planning to leave the Ironhorn Alliance."
A male standing beside him asked, "Lieutenant, what do we do now? A spy from the Lordship Estate reported that Jay is leading a search party for something."
"A search?" Sawyer's brows furrowed. "Could that old fool have figured it out?"
After a brief pause, his expression relaxed. "Even if he did, it doesn't matter if that thing appears in his estate and a berserk male also happens to show up, then the entire city will be thrown into panic."
A smug smile crept onto his lips. "The lordship is destined to be mine. That old
fool and Karl must die."
He waved dismissively. "That's enough. Let's stick to the original plan."
It didn't matter that Analise had
called for reinforcements. From the very beginning, Sawyer's plan had been to use the Shadowhawk Alliance to keep Analise's group occupied. Now, with even more people arriving, there would simply be more witnesses.
In the end, this was just helping him in a roundabout way.
Females were simply raised under the constant protection of males and never considering the bigger picture.
"Seems like Scott isn't all that clever either," Sawyer said.
He casually poured himself another cup of coffee before taking a sip.
Sawyer had timed his departure perfectly.
Now that night had fallen, it was the ideal moment to sneak into the Lordship Estate and set "her" free.
Meanwhile, Analise was resting in a room at the Lordship Estate with Scott and Finlay.
Leaning against the window, she peeked outside. "Are you sure Sawyer will come?"
"He will," Scott confirmed. "Lord Hansen hasn't found the fake
female, which means Sawyer
ove
have hidden her somewhereo unusual."
Earlier that afternoon, Wayne had contacted Scott, saying that Jay hadn't found the fake female.
Without hesitation, Scott and Analise had called Finlay back and sneaked into the Lordship Estate through the secret tunnel.
What do you think?
