Trapped in Love

Chapter 744

Chapter 744

Evan furrowed his brow and questioned, looking at the item Benjamin handed him, “What’s this?”

“It’s a cow’s tears. You don’t believe the girl, right? You can apply this to your eyes. It’ll work better than

me explaining,” Benjamin replied.

Evan watched silently, hesitant to use something of unknown origin on his eyes.

Reuben took the bottle of cow’s tears from Benjamin. “Just put it on the eyes, right?”

Benjamin nodded. “You don’t need much. It’s a precious and rare item.”

“Okay.”

Reuben opened the bottle, poured some onto his palm, and applied it to his eyes.

“Go outside,” Benjamin reminded.

Reuben followed the instructions, heading outside. As he was about to step out, he noticed a face at the

door.

It was the face of an elderly woman who appeared to be around 60 years old. She had a noticeable wound on her forehead, with blood seeping from it.

Despite his courage, Reuben was startled by the sight and took a few steps back, accidentally bumping

into Evan.

Annoyed, Evan asked, “What’s going on?”

Still frightened, Reuben averted his gaze and stammered, “S–Sir… there’s someone at the door.”

Evan’s irritation showed. “Could you please explain properly?”

Liora spoke up for Reuben. “There’s an old woman with a head wound at the door.”

Everyone turned their attention to Liora.

Benjamin asked with a smile, “Aren’t you scared, girl?”

Liora shook her head, “I’m not scared.”

Reuben chimed in. “Yes, the old woman is about 1.5 meters tall.”

Liora added, “She doesn’t dare to enter because Uncle Ben’s place is protected.”

Reuben’s expression soured. “I don’t want to see any more, Benjamin. How can I stop seeing these things?

The constant sightings were taking a toll on his nerves. It was becoming a terrifying experience for him.

Benjamin reassured him, “The effect will wear off in a few minutes.”

Evan remained silent, still skeptical about whether Liora was the only one who could see and describe these entities.

But now, Reuben could also see the same apparition as Liora, confirming the existence of what he had doubted.

Evan led Liora out with mixed emotions, his expression tense.

Meanwhile, at Angelbay Airport.

Kenny arrived to pick up Caroline.

They got into the car, and Kenny took Caroline for a meal.

Kenny mentioned to Caroline, “Lia had another fever today.” This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

Caroline’s eyes widened. “Today?”

“Yes. Evan told me Lia saw supernatural beings again. I suggested he take her to Benjamin, but I’m not

sure if he did. He even consulted a psychiatrist for Lia’s condition. He’s been quite arrogant about it.”

Caroline’s heart raced, and she quickly grabbed her phone, dialing Evan’s number.

Evan answered promptly, and Caroline asked anxiously, “How’s Lia, Evan?”

“She’s okay now,” Evan replied, glancing at the sleeping Liora beside him.

Caroline asked, “Did you take her to Benjamin?”

“Hmm. Caroline, I.realize I’ve been’narrow–minded in some ways before today,” Evan confessed.

Evan’s statement took Caroline aback. “Did you see or feel something?”
