Chapter 771 A Crazy Demon
Chapter 771 A Crazy Demon
While Paige pondered, Caroline abruptly stood up. In the next moment, her feeble legs gave way, and she collapsed onto the chair.
Paige rushed over to assist Caroline, frustration evident in her voice as she exclaimed, “Call the police, Carol! We must call the cops! This crazy demon needs to face the consequences!”
Caroline pushed Paige aside and struggled to her feet, visibly distraught.
“The kids… I need to see them… I have to pick them up…” Caroline staggered out of the private room, with Paige grabbing her bag and following suit.
Once inside the car, Caroline trembled and instructed the bodyguard to drive to the school quickly.
Paige retrieved her phone. ‘I’ll call the cops now!”
Caroline was too preoccupied with getting her children to the hospital for a check–up. She couldn’t fathom that Daniella had exposed her young children to AIDS. Her kids were so innocent, having barely experienced life.

‘How could Daniella and Naomi commit such a heinous act?”
Caroline’s nails dug into her palms, the pain nearly suffocating her.
Caroline reached the school promptly. Paige had already contacted the teacher using Caroline’s phone during the journey.
The teacher emerged with the children, and Caroline hastily ushered them into the car, speeding toward the hospital.
Caroline clung tightly to Tyler and Liora on the way, their breaths constricted by her embrace.
“Mommy…” Liora timidly gazed at Caroline, who seemed lost. “What’s wrong, Mommy? You’re scaring me…”
It was the first time Tyler had seen his mother so worried as if she had been dealt a devastating blow.
Struggling. Tyler turned to Paige. “Godmother, what’s going on with Mommy?”
Paige asked gravely, “Have you both eaten the food that Naomi gave you?”
“The secretary?” Liora nodded. “Yes, we did.”
Caroline trembled upon hearing that.
She stared down at Liora, her lips drained of color. “Why did you eat it?”
Liora blinked, at a loss for words.
“Answer me!” Caroline shouted at Liora. “Why did you eat the food she gave you?”
This was the first time Liora had seen her mother so furious. Terrified, her body stiffened, and her eyes welled with tears.
“Mommy…” Liora stammered in fear. “Please don’t be like this, Mommy… I’m scared…”
“Why did you eat it?” Caroline continued to cry out, her anger evident. “You’re hurting yourselves! Didn’t I tell you not to accept food from strangers? Why did you eat it? Tell me why!”
Paige urgently attempted to calm Caroline down. “Caroline, let’s not jump to conclusions. We don’t have all the facts yet. Please don’t do this in front of the children. You’re scaring them.”
Liora couldn’t contain her tears any longer. “It’s my fault, Mommy… I shouldn’t have eaten it…”
She cried while hugging Caroline tightly, gradually helping her mother regain her composure.
In a daze, Caroline felt a deep sense of sorrow and guilt as Liora continued to weep. “I’m so sorry…” Caroline whispered, trembling, as she held Liora close.
