Chapter 160
Chapter 160
Grace Smith stared at the man in front of her in astonishment.
"You, you, you are really shameless." She said.
He snorted and looked down at her. "Grace, no one can hit my face. Now that you hit me, you should
know that you have to pay the price."
"Get out." She scolded.
He grabbed her wrist, held it tightly, and leaned forward.
She immediately felt his lethal aura.
"You'd better not provoke me, otherwise, I don't mind using violence against you now."
Grace was frightened at his words.
If it weren't for the fact that his threat was so obvious at the moment, she might have answered back,
but now that she knew it, she had better shut her mouth.
Heinz turned around and left, with the heavy palm print on his face from her slap earlier.
She sat on the toilet in a daze and could not come to her senses for a long time.
He was too terrifying.
And, for some reason, she became more afraid of him.
After calming herself down, Grace left the
bathroom.
The nurse was already waiting in the room, but the nurse's eyes were fixed on Heinz. Her eyes fell prey
to Heinz's handsome face. The red palm print was ever so clear. Belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.
Grace's heart tightened. She cleared her throat and said, "Sorry, nurse, I am ready now."
"Well, okay." The nurse looked away. She was also unnerved by the strange atmosphere in the room.
She looked at Grace. Her lips were red, her face was red, and her hair was messy. Suddenly, she
understood what was going on. A glimmer of light flashed in her eyes. When she looked at Heinz's face
again, she narrowed her eyes.
Grace had already walked to the edge of the bed. She took off her shoes and sat on it, ready for the
injection.
"Im ready. Come on." Grace saw that the nurse was still staring at Heinz. She urged her to get started.
The nurse came to her senses immediately. She smiled, looked at Grace, came over to her with the
needle in her hands.
"Ah-" Grace groaned in pain.
The needle hurt so much.
When she looked up again, she found that the needle did not pierce properly into the vein on the back
of her hand.
The nurse immediately said, "Sorry, Miss, your veins are difficult to locate. I'll give you another shot"
"Huh?" Grace was about to cry. "My veins are so obvious. You can see them now. Look."
She pointed at the veins on the back of her hand, which were clearly visible.
However, the nurse smiled and said, "Miss, your veins can be seen, but they are constantly moving. If I
poke you there, your veins will shift around, that's why I can't insert the needle accurately."
"Oh!" Grace pursed her lips. "Then just be careful."
"Uh-huh, I'm sorry." The nurse reached out for her other hand and said, "I will try this one."
At this time, Heinz came over with his eyebrows knitted tightly and said coldly, "If you can't get it done
this time, then you'd better not do it anymore."
The nurse was stunned and immediately took a look at Heinz. She felt very wronged, but still said
obediently, "Yes, Mr. Jones."
Heinz stared at her sternly, and the nurse quickly found Grace's vein. This time, the procedure was a
success.
Grace Smith smiled and said, "Thank you. It's all good this time."
The nurse looked at her and pursed her lips. After adjusting the needle, she went out.
However, she could not help but glanced at Heinz again.
However, Heinz's eyes were only on Grace's face. He stared at the back of her hand with sharp eyes,
and his whole body felt piercingly cold.
The nurse went out and closed the door, but she still cast a glance at Heinz before she left.
As soon as she was outside at the nurse station, she heard someone asking her, "Hey, Remi, did you
see? Heinz Jones was there in the room you were in."
"Yes, it is Heinz." The nurse, Remi Walter, nodded and said, "I know it's him."
"Oh my god! It's really Heinz. Then who is that woman?"
"I don't know. It seems that they have a close relationship. Just now, there was a slap mark on Mr.
Jones' face. It must be the woman who slapped him!" Remi said with a burst of indignation, "It's so
infuriating to see such a handsome man like Mr. Jones get slapped by that woman."
"Really? My Prince Charming has been slapped! I feel so sorry for him. Did you give that woman a
vicious prick?" Another nurse asked in a low voice.
Remi nodded. "Yes, I gave her two pricks. I didn't pierce the first one in deliberately. If Heinz hadn't
threatened me when I was giving the second shot, I would have poked the needle on her again. I'm so
angry that she slapped Heinz."
"I'll go tomorrow and prick her twice on purpose," another nurse said.
"Okay." Remi smirked, and there was a cold light in her eyes.
Grace lay on the bed while on the IV drip, with Heinz sitting next to her.
She said grumpily, "You can go. You don't have to be here."
Heinz snorted and said, "You're very fierce to me.
But she deliberately pricked you twice, why aren't you angry at her?"
"Deliberately?" Grace was stunned, thinking of the nurse's behavior just now. "How did you know that
she did it deliberately?"
Heinz's sharp gaze swept across her face. There was a flash of wisdom in his eyes as he said in a
deep voice, "So you're a fool."
Grace was speechless.
Heinz sat beside her bed, picked up his phone, and looked at it.
Grace stretched out her head and took a look, only to see the news on it.
She pursed her lips and thought of what he had just said. The nurse had poked her twice on purpose.
She did not realize that, but Heinz had thought so. Was it true?
Why?
She turned her head and looked at him with her big round eyes. There was a clear red palm print on
his cold and determined face. It seemed that she had been too angry just now. She must have slapped
him so hard that the mark had not subsided yet.
"I'm sorry." She felt that she was a little too radical just now. "I shouldn't have hit you."
Holding his mobile phone, Heinz raised his eyes and glanced at her. "Apologizing after slapping me?
Your apology is so 'sincere'."
She looked at him, and then at the ceiling.
"I shouldn't have hit you, but you didn't knock on the door when you barge into the bathroom. Don't you
think you're going too far?"
"So?" Heinz raised his eyebrows and asked.
"You have to apologize to me, too," she said bluntly.
"What if I don't apologize?” It seemed that he didn't want to apologize.
After a moment of silence, she looked at him again. His eyes were dark and deep enough to enchant a
soul.
Grace shrugged. "If you don't apologize, I can't do anything to you anyway. I will only be disappointed."
Her tone was also very moody.
The fundamental respect she commanded, wasn't there.
From yesterday until now, she felt that life was a complete mess. Whatever he wanted, and whenever
he wanted to do it, she seemed unable to reject.
They didn't know each other very well, and they only had sex a few times. However, amongst the few
occasions, once was in the open, once in the car, twice in the bedroom, and once in the bathroom.
Today, in the hospital bathroom, there was almost another encounter.
She really didn't know whether to laugh or cry, and she was speechless.
Heinz was an overwhelming man who did not take No from others.
He heard her voice suddenly get quieter, and there was a sense of pitiful loneliness on her face.
His heart skipped a beat and he frowned. "What's wrong? You hit a man's face and yet you want him to
apologize to you?"
