Chapter 164
Chapter 164
Heinz Jones smiled coldly and said, "I have nothing to say to you."
Marry Smith was stunned, but she was not upset. She collected her emotions and said, "Mr. Jones, no
matter what, I am still Grace's sister."
"Really?", Heinz sneered. "I couldn't tell that you're Grace's sister. Did she acknowledge you as her
sister?"
"Mr. Jones, whether she acknowledges me or not, she is still my sister." Marry said with a smile, "This
is an indisputable fact."
Heinz narrowed his eyes, "What does it have to do with me?"
After he finished speaking, he turned around and left.
Marry was not in a hurry and just said, "Mr. Jones, I have an old photo of my sister here. I'd always
wanted to return it to her. Maybe when she sees it, she will think of the beautiful memories in the past -
the lovely memories between Simon Brown and her."
She was holding a photo album in her hands. It seemed rather old, but it was well-preserved.
Heinz was about to leave but was stopped by her words.
Marry was sure that given the opportunity, a man would definitely be interested in learning more
about the past relationships of the woman he likes.
What's more, Heinz enjoys having control over things he has interests in.
Just as she expected, Heinz slowly turned around.
Marry smiled and tapped on the photo album in her hands.
Heinz narrowed his eyes and said in a deep voice, "Mrs. Brown, wouldn't you feel any bitterness
bringing up about the past between Grace and your husband. Wouldn't your conscience be
tormented?"
Marry shook her head gently and said, "No, Mr. Jones, if you think that way, then you must have
misunderstood me. I am not a petty woman."
"That's true." Heinz sneered. "You are a woman who took away her sister's ex-boyfriend and made him
yours. I'm sure you must be very generous and open-minded." This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
"If I'm not open-minded enough, I would have been tortured to death by my own misery." Marry also
forced a smile and said, "How about it? Are you interested in it?"
Heinz looked at the photo album in her hands and narrowed his eyes. The contents were definitely
interesting to him.
But he knew that she wanted something else too.
Heinz smiled scornfully, "Mrs. Brown, I am not a person who will be easily set up."
"Mr. Jones, you think too much." Marry chuckled. "I have no intention to plot against you."
"Are you planning to plot against Grace then?” Heinz asked sarcastically.
Marry shook her head and said, "Even though it might seem scheming to you, I really do want my sister
to see the things in the past. Aren't you afraid that my sister has not moved on from Simon? This is an
opportunity for you to see if she had already moved from him. I believe as intelligent as you are, Mr.
Jones, you would naturally be able to see through her thoughts."
Heinz looked at her with knitted brows, his eyes locked sharply on her. "Haha, this is to fulfill your wish,
right?"
Marry was stunned and smiled awkwardly.
"I'm sorry, but your wish will not come true." Heinz looked at her indifferently, "Since it's a matter of the
past, then there is no need to see it."
He turned around again.
"Mr. Jones." Marry caught up with him and blocked his way. She forced the photo album to his chest
and said, "You'd better give it to her. If you are so open- minded, then you wouldn't be afraid to see
anything, so why don't you just take it? You don't have anything to hide, so naturally, you wouldn't be
afraid of anything, would you, Mr. Jones?"
After that, she turned and left.
Heinz frowned as he looked at the album in his hands and then at Marry's retreating silhouette.
This photo album carried Grace's past - her beautiful memories and feelings.
He clenched his hands over the album and narrowed his eyes, glaring at Marry's back.
This woman is so manipulative.
He pursed his lips and took a last glance at her. He then went to his car with the albums in his arms.
Instead of opening it, he lit a cigarette and started smoking slowly.
Soon after he finished smoking the cigarette, he opened the album. He was already annoyed the
moment he opened to the first page.
His knuckles quickly whitened as he clasped on the album tightly.
Damn it.
The first photo was already a goner for him.
The photo was Grace holding Simon's hand and she took the initiative to kiss him.
In a split second, his body trembled in anger, flames of his wrath evident in his eyes.
She was only about 17 or 18 years old then. Bright and charming, she had this innocent expression on
her cute face.
She was so young.
It was completely another level to see it with his own eyes.
Heinz found himself being irrational. He clearly knew that it was Grace's past, but he still couldn't help
feeling annoyed and jealous.
He flashed through the other pages. As he flipped through each page, the green-eyed monster in him
grew even bigger.
An hour later, he drove his car out from the parking lot and sped into the highway.
Grace was asleep the whole afternoon.
It was already five o'clock when she woke up.
She called Alice. She had already picked up Little Gary and the two of them were on their way home.
"Sis, don't worry. I will take good care of Gary."
"Alice." Grace stared at the ceiling and said apologetically, "I'm really sorry."
"Sis, don't be like this. We are a family." Grace knew what she was thinking. "So just take care and rest
okay."
"Well, okay." Grace's voice was a little choked. "Remember to have your meals."
"Okay."
After hanging up the phone, Grace felt that her breathing has improved, which made her feel much
more comfortable. But her whole body felt listless, and she still felt a little sore.
During dinnertime in the evening, Heinz brought her a big bag of supplies, including food, necessities,
slippers, and pajamas. He brought everything.
She was a little annoyed at first, but when she saw that he was so thoughtful, most of her anger was
extinguished instantly.
Heinz put the bag supplies down and left the room. She looked at her watch and found it was seven
o'clock in the evening.
She took the things out of the bag and sorted them out.
She accidentally bumped into a box and took it out. It looked like a beautiful package.
"What's this?" She whispered to herself, "The package looks so nice?"
"It is to protect the contents of the package." Suddenly, a deep male voice came from the door. The
voice didn't sound forgiving.
Grace was stunned. When she turned around, she saw Heinz walking towards her.
His face was gloomy, and there was no warmth in his eyes. He walked up to her, took out the box from
her hand, and said, "It's for tonight."
She frowned and looked at him, only to find that he looked very downhearted. She took a breath and
said, "You can use it yourself."
"Let's use it together," he said in a deep voice. He locked into her eyes and said sharply, "You're always
so rude when you talk to me. Did you give your smile to someone else?"
Looking at those photos, she was always smiling so happily to Simon. Now, she was so cold to him.
A gust of anger lingered in Heinz's chest, which made him very upset.
When Grace heard his tone, she glanced at him and said, "Did you wake up the wrong side today? Me
smiling at you? Did you think I could smile at you? I'm not here to sell my smile."
