True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 201

Chapter 201

Alice Smith and Jensen Charm stared into each other's eyes. For a moment, they forgot what they had

wanted to do.

Alice suddenly blushed. As soon as she came to her senses, she bent her legs and wanted to throw

Jensen over her shoulder.

However, Jensen also snapped back to his senses and was on guard. He was a policeman and he had

been in the military, so his instincts were sharp.

Alice exerted a lot of strength. In fact, she wanted to attack him and show him her skills in one go so

that she could leave right after that.

However, not only couldn't she throw Jensen over, she was unexpectedly pulled into his arms instead.

Alice's back hit Jensen's chest without warning, and then her butt knocked onto him right after that.

"Hiss —" Jensen inhaled sharply because of the pain.

However, he still did not let go of Alice. He was holding her hand firmly and shackling her whole body

with his arms.

Alice wanted to break free, but her strength was not comparable to Jensen's.

Her heart trembled and she felt very uncomfortable. She had always felt uneasy when a man was close

to her.

Because of her alertness, she had always kept her distance with men. Now that she was constrained

by a strange man, she found out that there would always be someone better than her. She had been

practicing Judo and Taekwondo all these years but she was still not able to deal with a man.

She was a little irritated and shouted in a low voice, "Let me go. Do you hear me?"

Jensen's firm and strong abdomen pressed against her. He lowered his head and a warm breath fell on

her neck.

Alice immediately froze, and she felt a chill down her spine. She gritted her teeth and shouted again,

"Let me go."

"I want to see how good your skills are," Jensen's voice was next to her ear.

Alice immediately felt a buzz in her head.

It was as if she was enchanted.

When the other policemen in the corridor saw this, they all fixed their eyes on them.

What was going on?

Didn't their boss dislike getting close to women?

Why was he holding a woman in his arms and not letting her go?

"Boss!" The policeman passing by smiled and said coyly, "Are you sparring?"

Hearing this, Jensen cast a sharp glance at him, gritted his teeth, and said, "Yes, we're sparring!"

"Uh!" As soon as the man saw Jensen's attitude, he immediately said gloomily, "Please continue."

After saying that, he quickly walked away. Looking at the murderous look in his boss' eyes, it seemed

that he had interrupted his boss' sweet time with someone.

In the policemen's eyes, Jensen was merely taking advantage of the little girl in the name of sparring.

"Hey, what's wrong with our boss over there? He doesn't seem to want to let go of the girl in his arms.

But there's surveillance camera in our office area," the policeman said.

"Seems like our boss has taken a fancy on her. He had been like a heartless man all these years.

Maybe it's finally time he falls for someone. Otherwise, how could he be so shameless to hold the

young lady in his arms and not let her go?" the policeman's friend said.

"What a beautiful young lady," one of them praised.

"She's indeed beautiful, but she doesn't seem to want to be with our boss. I'm afraid that it's a onesided

love," one of them commented.

At this time, Jensen and Alice were still sparring with each other. Their bodies were so close to each

other that they couldn't use their moves at all.

Alice frowned. It seemed that she was no match for Jensen.

But why didn't he let her go?

Moreover, wasn't it inappropriate for them to hold on to each other like that?

She could even sense the negative reaction of the policemen behind her.

A look of discomfort flashed across Alice's eyes.

She said coldly, "Let me go. Do you hear me?"

There was also a hint of agitation in Jensen's eyes.

He seemed to be in a very awkward situation. If he let go of Alice, he was afraid that Alice would notice

his discomfort.

"Is this all you have?" Jensen asked.

"What does it have to do with you?" Alice retorted.

"I thought you have extraordinary skills." Jensen chuckled and said, "It turns out that your skills are just

average."

"Ha," Alice sneered. She felt the strange sarcasm of Jensen and said, "I thought that policemen would

usually take pride in their uniform and their public image and wouldn't do anything inappropriate. Turns

out that's not the case."

Jensen's face became gloomy in an instant, and he was speechless.

"I lost," Alice said coldly. "Now, let me go."

There was no more reason for Jensen to trap her in his arms, so he had to let her go.

He took a deep breath and suppressed his emotions.

Alice glanced at him, snorted, and said disdainfully, "You bring shame to the entire police force."

After hearing what she said, Jensen's face froze. A slight blush appeared on his face and slowly

reached to his ears.

The more Alice thought about it, the angrier she became. She was taken advantage of by this man, but

she could not beat him. What was even more annoying was that this man was a policeman and he

crushed her good impression of the police force.

What made her feel even more irritated was that his voice was almost the same as that person.

All of these made Alice no longer have a good impression of Jensen.

After feeling embarrassed, Jensen regained his composure and said, "Sorry, you may have

misunderstood me."

When Alice heard that he wanted to explain himself, she looked directly at the zipper of his trousers

and said, "Officer Charm, how do you still have the nerve to say that it was a misunderstanding? The

evidence is certain. The more you explain, the more obvious it is that you are trying to cover up."

Jensen's face turned red again.

Alice rolled her eyes.

At that moment, a policeman came out and said to them, "It seems that a person has been beaten so

badly that his internal organs are bleeding. He passed out."

Alice was stunned and pointed at herself. "Are you referring to the ruffian that I hit?"

"Yes," the officer nodded honestly.

Alice was also dumbfounded that it turned out like this.

Jensen said, "Send him to the hospital."

"I've contacted the ambulance, and they will be here soon," the officer replied.

Alice was startled and looked at the officer again. "Are you sure it was because of me?"

"We can't confirm that yet. We can only know after he goes to the hospital for a check-up!" Jensen

said, "Don't worry about it. You won't be wronged. We need to have him checked first."

Alice gritted her teeth. "Then I can't leave now, can I?"

Seeing that she had become more impatient, Jensen said, "Well, you have to wait here for now. Well

decide later after everything is conclusive."

"If it's because of me, will I be responsible for the medical fee?" Alice asked.

Jensen said, "In general, you should." Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

"What the hell!" Alice couldn't stand it anymore and scolded, "I fought back against him because I was

being harassed. Now, I even have to pay for his treatment I caused his injuries?"

"Yes," Jensen said calmly.

"If I didn't have any fighting skills, wouldn't I become a victim? Can't I do anything about it?" Alice was

furious.

"If that's the case, he'll bear the conseguences of harassing you," Jensen said.

"What about you?" Alice looked directly into Jensen's eyes. "You took advantage of me just now. How

should I get even with you?"

Jensen's face froze.

"Cough-" The officer next to her was shocked and choked. "How can our boss be a hooligan?"

Alice looked at the officer and criticized, "On what basis are you saying that your boss is not a

hooligan? Did you see what happened?"

The man was stunned.

Jensen said coldly, "Go and do your work."

"Yes!" the officer immediately responded.

After he left, Alice said directly to Jensen, "I won't pay his medical fees. He should consider himself

lucky that I didn't beat this kind of scum to death."
