Chapter 2095
Chapter 2095
Ten minutes later, Clinton's car arrived, and they switched to Clinton's car to hide. They took turns to keep a lookout on Kendrix's apartment. Other than that, none of them spoke.
It was silent inside the car.
They waited for a long time.
Ernest glanced at Sebastian and asked, "Are you sure this is where Kendrix lives?"
"I'm sure," Sebastian replied. "But I can't be sure if he's still here. Mr. Trevino said he's leaving, so I'm not sure if he'll be here tonight." Gary frowned.
Ernest was also stunned. "What if he moved away? Wouldn't we be wasting our time?"
"I'm going to make a call." Gary took out his phone and called Kendrix without hesitation Soon, someone answered the call.
It was Kendrix's voice, but it sounded as if he was whispering. "Hello, who is it?"
Gary snorted. "Cut the crap. You know who I am."
Kendrix did not say a word, nor did he admit that he knew who was calling him. He merely asked faintly, "What is it?"
"Where are you?" Gary asked.
"What's the matter?"
"Let's meet first before deciding what to do," Gary demanded.
Kendrix said coolly, "I don't have time now."
"Then when do you have the time?" Gary asked.
"After 10:30 p.m.," Kendrix answered.
Gary glanced at his watch. It was only 7.30 p.m., so Kendrix was not free at the moment.
He narrowed his eyes and hung up directly.
Ernest and Sebastian both looked at Gary in surprise and confusion. "Well? When will he be back?"
"We can only wait," Gary said. "He said he won't be free until 10:30 p.m.."
"So we have to wait until then?" Sebastian looked at his watch. Three hours was a little longer than he had expected. Gary saw Sebastian hesitating after checking the time. "Are you in a hurry? Or do you have something else to do?" Sebastian was stunned. "It's not that. I just think it would be a waste of our time if we wait here."
"We only have one sister, so it's worth the wait," Gary replied.
Sebastian immediately fell silent.All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.
Ernest looked at Gary and then at Sebastian. He said, "I guess we can only wait."
The three of them fell silent again.
After waiting for more than half an hour, they finally saw Kendrix.
Sebastian was the first to notice him as he had been observing their surroundings. Suddenly, he spotted Kendrix's figure in the darkness.
There was another woman beside him, and they were going in the same direction.
The woman was tall and slender. She also had long hair that went past her shoulders. Since it was dark, they could not discern her appearance, but they knew it was a woman.
It seemed as if she knew Kendrix well.
"Is that the girlfriend we heard so much about?" Ernest asked when he saw the woman beside Kendrix.
Without saying a word, Gary got out of the car.
He walked straight toward Kendrix and the woman.
Kendrix and the woman were heading toward the apartment together, but they were not shocked when Gary stepped in front of them. Instead, Kendrix looked calm.
He looked at Gary and said indifferently, "Since you've found this place, go straight to the point and tell me what you want."
The woman smiled, not at all surprised by Gary's appearance.
"Who is this? Why don't you introduce her to me?" Gary jerked his chin slightly toward the woman.
"There's no need for that," Kendrix replied indifferently.
"Why not?" Gary snorted and continued, "It's so late at night. You two must be very close for you to come back together at such a late hour." As he spoke, he smiled at the beautiful woman coldly.
She returned the smile and introduced herself. "I'm Kendrix's girlfriend, or fiancee if you would have it. My name is Claudia Loris."
Gary narrowed his eyes at Claudia. She did not seem the least bit shy.
Compared to Claudia, Sylvia was like a little girl.
Although Sylvia was bright, she was not as mature as the woman in front of Gary.
Gary could sense how capable Claudia was just by looking at her.
Indeed, Sylvia was no match for Claudia. Gary thought to himself.
He chuckled. "Mr. Trevino's girlfriend? Fiancee? When are you planning to get married? My sister and I would like to attend the wedding."
"That's fine with me." Claudia agreed to the request immediately.
Kendrix remained silent as if all this had nothing to do with him.
Gary looked at Kendrix with burning eyes. "Why don't you say a word, Mr. Trevino? Is it because you don't want us at the wedding?"
"We're not that close anyway," Kendrix finally said, his tone was as calm as ever. "We won't necessarily be holding a wedding. Plus, we're leaving Northern City soon."
"If that's what you're worried about,
we can afford the flight tickets. No matter where you hold the wedding, we'll be there," Gary said. "We wouldn't miss such a joyous event."
Kendrix remained unmoved. "All right. We'll send you the invitation when the time comes."
Gary's eyes darkened, and he gritted his teeth. "We look forward to it."
"Is there anything else? If not, we'll be heading home," said Kendrix.
"Claudia, do you mind if I borrow Mr. Trevino for a while?" Gary asked.
"
Claudia said to Kendrix, "Well, I'll leave you two to yourselves. I'll wait for you inside, Kendrix."
"There's no need for that." Kendrix
grabbed Claudia's wrist before she could leave and said to Gary, "If you have something to say, say it in front of the both of us. We have nothing to hide."
Gary frowned.
"Well, I'll go straight to the point then. I hope you'll pardon my question, Miss Loris."
Claudia shook her head. "Don't worry about it."
"All right then." Gary said in a deep voice, "I just want to ask Mr. Trevino, are you still a virgin?"
"What?!"
Claudia burst out laughing as soon as he said that.
She glanced at the sullen-looking Kendrix and said to Gary, "That is indeed a tough question."
"Oh?" Gary's replied calmly. "Miss
Loris, why don't you help Mr. Trevino
answer it then? I don't think it's that
difficult to answer. It should be easy
for
you to answer too. Were you his first, Miss Loris? And was he yours?"
