True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2182

Chapter 2182

"Mutual feelings are important," Gary said, "Mutual attraction is the cornerstone of developing a relationship."

If one party lost interest, their relationship would not be able to go on.

Therefore, having mutual feelings was crucial.

Celeste nodded in agreement.

It was exactly that she was reluctant to part with him that she chose to come back to him in the end.

Because she liked him and cared about him, she put aside her ego to be with him.

In truth, if one really loved another person, they would not fuss about so much.

The two left the house and strolled out.

As it was still the holidays, the streets weren't busy, especially when it was only the morning. So they spotted a car parked not far from them when they were out of the gated community.

Celeste gasped in bewilderment. "That car looks like the one parked outside your house earlier."

"You mean Chigo's car?" Gary took a gander and found it indeed looked familiar.

"Yeah, looks like it. Wonder if it is."

"Let's take a look." Pulling on Celeste's hand, they made their way to the car.

They noticed the car window was open when they got close.

Sure enough, Chigo and Sebastian were sitting inside.

Seeing the couple, Chigo quirked his brow and drifted his gaze to their holding hands. He smiled and greeted, "Gary, long time no see."

With that, he got out of the car and greeted Celeste frankly, seeing her.

"Hey, I'm Chigo. You must be Gary's girlfriend."

A tint of redness enveloped Celeste's hearing that title, but she still smiled and greeted him. "Hello, Mr. Robinson."

"Please, just Chigo." He laughed.Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.

Sizing Chigo up, a glimmer flashed across Gary's eyes, with it a hint of smile added to the mix.

Clever fellow, he at least could tell Celeste's relationship with him.

He was indeed a lot better than Kendrix.

At least, he was more comfortable to hang around with.

Gary nodded and said, "Since you are already here, why don't you go inside?"

"I'd be bothering you guys if I go in," Chigo said bluntly.

"And standing in front of our house for over an hour isn't?" Gary retorted indifferently.

Shrugging, Chigo said with a smile, "I thought I wouldn't be disturbing you guys if I didn't ring the doorbell. But I didn't think you guys would notice me. I would've done it if I knew."

Celeste was surprised by his honesty.

The man in front of her was like the embodiment of sunshine, the big brother type. He looked to be around Gary and Ernest's age, just a couple of years older than Sylvia.

Gary glanced at Chigo before drifting his gaze to Sebastian, who had gotten out from the front passenger seat at this point.

"I'll leave you guys be. Celeste and I will continue our walk." With that, Gary nodded and took Celeste away.

Chigo bid them farewell from behind, "Bye, Gary. Bye, Celeste."

"Goodbye." Celeste returned the formality.

Chigo waited until the couple walked far before turning to Sebastian.

"Since when did Gary get a girlfriend?"

"Quite a few years," Sebastian said, "My brother has always been one to know what to do at when. So even if they had fallen out, Celeste would still come back to him eventually."

"Yeah," Chigo replied, "Gary sure is unparalleled."

"He is indeed a lot better than you," Sebastian said as he shot Chigo a meaningful glance.

Stumped, Chigo twitched his lips as forlorn flashed across his eyes, sniggering self-deprecatingly. "You're right."

Sebastian suddenly felt bad for him, surprised that Chigo would mock himself like that.

"Don't be discouraged; you still have a chance."

Taking a gander at Sebastian, Chigo said, "It's a little too late for you to tell me this now. I thought you thought highly of Kendrix?" Sebastian nodded. "He does possess unparalleled achievements in his profession, but when it comes to Sylvia, he is worse than you." "Perhaps that's only on the surface." Chigo laughed.

He wouldn't belittle Kendrix just because Sylvia liked him instead.

On the contrary, he thought there must be something special about him for Sylvia to fall for him.

Or he wouldn't have been able to get Sylvia's attention.

Stumped at Chigo's words, Sebastian looked at Chigo and said, "You know what, Chigo? You're really admirable for thinking good of your rivals."

Chigo smiled and said, "Hey, I'm a good sport. And I don't see why I should think of him as a b*stard just because Sylvia likes him."

"I, on the other hand, think he's quite detestable," Sebastian said, "I did support Sylvia dating Kendrix, for I think he's able to control her and bring out her girly side."

"You said 'did'," Chigo pointed out.

"Now, I support you," Sebastian said.

"Really? Why?" Chigo asked.

"It is because you don't put on airs." With that, Sebastian went back into the car. "C'mon, get in the car; it's cold outside."

"Sebastian." Chigo got in as well,

looking at Sebastian. "I'm happy to hear you say that, but that aside.

How can a fellow like you not beet

able to stand the cold? You'll need to hit the gym more often, or women will hold that against you in the future."

"You work out, yet a woman still held it against you, no?"

"No, your sister's not a woman," Chigo said.

Stumped, Sebastian chuckled, and Chigo followed.

Gary led Celeste along the streets, walking hand in hand.

"So, what do you think?" Gary asked Celeste.

Celeste thought for a moment and asked, "About Chigo?"

"Who else?"

"He seems nice," Celeste smiled and said honestly "If I met Chigo first, I would probably have chosen him over Kendrix. But this is love we're talking about. After all, it isn't

something you can solveme

and formula and present it on a silver plate."

It was never easy to tell if one's feelings would be reciprocated, and a couple may not be fit for each other just because everyone thought they were a good match.

What was important was who Sylvia had fallen in love with.

Quirking his eyebrow, Gary commented, "You seem to have a good impression of Chigo." "I also have a good impression of Mr. Trevino."

Celeste said, "I can tell both Mr. Trevino and Chigo are outstanding from one look."

"So?"

"So, it depends on who Sylvia likes."

"Sylvia likes Kendrix," Gary said.

"I get what you're trying to say. Kendrix is steadier and more of an introvert while Sylvia and Chigo are like balls of sunshine."

"But opposites attract." Gary pointed

out, "Chigo's liveliness can't attract Sylvia while Kendrix is like a distant star. Just as you said, they are both outstanding men, but to Sylvia, Kendrix has an extra layer of mystery."

"Seems like you have it all figured out; all on point." Celeste sighed. "But I feel sorry for Chigo. I hope he can find the right girl."
