Chapter 33 I Just Want Him

Cordelia glared at Elijah. She lowered her head and continued to eat the food angrily. After Nora

walked away with a smile, she immediately put down her fork

Therefore, the problem must he in Elijah. Maybe it was because his sperm survival rate was too low.

Elijah slowly took the plate from Cordelia and ate up the rest of the food with the fork she had just

used.

Cordelia was stunned.

Elijah had never done this before

Before she could recover from her shock, Elijah had finished the food and left.

Cordelia stared blankly at the direction of the door and murmured, “Our problem can’t be solved by a

baby…”

The whole day, Cordelia was in a trance.

When she thought about what happened last night, she became irritable and in a bad mood.

So, she skipped work and went to the cake shop downstairs to eat cakes, turning her anger into

appetite.

Suddenly, there was the sound of wheels. She looked sideways and saw Eva approaching her with a

smile on her face.

“Mrs. Hansen, what a coincidence! Are you alone?

Cordelia guessed that Eva should be with Elijah, or she would not have emphasized it

Seeing that Cordelia was silent, Eva played with the diamond necklace around her neck and said, “Is

this necklace beautiful? It is from the man who loves me the most.”

She kept talking Cordelia said impatiently, “Does it have something to do with me?”

Eva became prouder. She continued, “Mrs. Hansen, why haven’t you divorced yet? Is it interesting to

stay with a man who doesn’t love you and wait for him to go back home all day long?”

Cordelia sneered, “You know quite a lot.”

“Of course, because your husband has been with me all the time. If I’m in a good mood, I’ll show mercy

to you and let him go back to see you. If I don’t agree, he will always be with me. Poor you.”

Eva looked at Cordelia’s beautiful face contemptuously. The more jealous she felt, the harsher her

words became.

“Oh? Do you want me to say thank you?”

Cordelia put away her sloppiness and looked coldly at the arrogant mistress in front of her.

“So what if he stays with you 24 hours a day? As long as we don’t get a divorce, your relationship can’t

be made public.”

Unexpectedly, Cordelia was not provoked by Eva’s words but became more aggressive.

Eva’s face changed suddenly, and she said mockingly, “I don’t care. I just want him!”

Cordelia curled up her lips. “Well then, return half of the money he spent on you to me. It is our

common property. As his wife, I have the right to control half of it”

As she spoke, Cordelia’s eyes fell on Eva’s neck

Eva was shocked and immediately covered the necklace around her neck. “It was not Elijah who

bought it for me. Don’t try to take it

Cordelia took out her phone. “Ill know if I have a check. You’d better disappear from my presence

immediately, or once I find it out, I’ll ask you to return the money!”

Seeing Cordelia lower her head and start checking on her phone, Eva bit her lip and said unwillingly,

“Go ahead. Do you think I will be afraid of you?”

Having said that, she had left nimbly on her electric wheelchair.

Cordelia raised her eyes, staring blankly at Eva fleeing in a hurry. Her eyes became colder and colder.

She was a little angry.

She wouldn’t let Eva get what she wanted!
