White Wolf’s Curse

Chapter 5

TREYTON

I don’t even care that she punched me. It was fucking perfect seeing Kelly put in her place. She always thinks she is some hot shit. I know that Cass is going to take her spot and I am for that one hundred percent. Kelly needs to be knocked off that high horse she and her daddy put her on.

As soon as she walks to the coach, Kelly comes up to me. “Trey, what the hell? You like her?”

“Yeah, so what?” I want to just push her away, but my momma raised me a little better than that. So I just shoulder my bag and start to walk away.

“Trey, I told my dad that you were taking me home so he expects me to get a ride from you.” She follows after me.

I stop. Now I am getting pissed. “What the hell did you tell him that for?”Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

“Because I need to talk to you about something and I figured that was the best way to do it.” She is trying to act cute right now. I have seen it plenty of times before when we dated. She thinks if she acts like this then she can get what she wants.

“Well, guess what princess. You are going to need to call up daddy and tell him you made a mistake. I am not driving you home.” I turn to stomp away.

She puts her hand on my arm. “It’s important Trey.”

I turn around and face her but I make sure to keep my distance. “What?” I am even a little huffy.

She bites her bottom lip. “I want us to get back together. Everyone expects us to be together; it just makes sense. I don’t see what you see in that girl, but everyone knows that you belong with me.”

I am shocked. “Really, that was what was important that you needed to talk to me about?”

“Yes, our future is very important.” Now she is looking at me like I have lost my mind. Like I should already know this. If it was true, then hell yeah. But I am not destined to be with her. I just know it.

“I am going to make this very clear. I don’t like you. I gave you a chance because I thought I could find some good in you, but there isn’t any. You are vapid. You have no originality and you shouldn’t even be as close to as popular as you are. You are jealous that someone else is taking your place and you are trying to make their life hell. That’s the kind of person you are. It is not the type of person that I want to be with. I am never getting back together with you. I don’t care if the whole town takes a vote on it and says that I have to. I’ll move before I get with you again. Do you understand?”

“But Trey…” She is crying. I hate seeing girls cry.

I break down a little. “I’m sorry that was harsh. I didn’t mean it like that. I just, well, I tried to be nice about it. I don’t like you like that. Please just accept that.” I softened my tone. I even put my hand on her shoulder, it’s a friendly gesture, but she doesn’t take it that way and pushes into my arms.

I push her back. “Kelly, stop it. I mean it. I don’t like you. Just stop.” I turn from her and start walking away. She can not keep trying to do this shit.

She calls out to me. “Can you please just give me a ride? You know as well as I do that my dad is not going to want to come back for me.”

I groan, she’s right. I can be nice to her one last time. “Fine, but after this you will have to walk.”

She does some giddy jumps and runs after me. Yeah, not what I am wanting right now. I can see Cass with her sister and brothers from here. Cass just smirks and shakes her head. I don’t want her getting any wild ideas. I make sure to keep some distance from Kelly, but Kelly is like an octopus right now. How the hell did she get so many hands?

Once we are loaded up in my truck Kelly moves over to the center seat. “Kelly, move over. You don’t need to be so close.”

“This is always where I sit.” She pouts.

“When we were dating. We aren’t now so please move over or you’re getting out.”

She whines but moves over and buckles in. Thank God. I drove to her house and put it in park. I don’t say a single word to her on the drive. She seems to think any kindness means that I want her. I look over at her and wait for her to get out. She takes this opportunity to lunge at me. She clings to my neck and kisses me. I push her off me. “Kelly, I mean it. We are over. Stop this. I am trying to be nice here but you seem to think that means that we are together. We aren’t. Have some dignity and move on.”

She sits back with a sinister look on her face. “We shall see how done we are. I know you Trey. You will want me back.”

“Obviously you don’t know me very well.” I roll my eyes. This girl, seriously.

“You want my body. I can work with that. Don’t worry. I got your number.” She just hops out of my truck after saying that. Granted her body is great, but not that great.
