Alpha Twins And Their Hybrid Mate

Chapter 91

"Where the hell are you, Ella?" Sophie huffed in frustration.

Anger has become Sara's friend lately and she is always so angry. Maybe she needed a little space of her own or some peace of mind.

Which this conference has not provided her but had given her more trouble.

Ella hadn't returned to the quarters on time, and this was concerning. A knot of unease tightened in Sara's chest. Ella was never late, especially not when they were this deep in enemy territory. Something was wrong. Without hesitation, Sara grabbed her coat and slipped out of the quarters, moving swiftly through the dense forest toward the meeting place where Ryan had asked Ella to meet him.

The night was still, the moon casting a silvery glow on the forest floor, but Sara's instincts were on high alert. Every snap of a twig, every rustle of leaves made her tense. She pushed herself to move faster, her heart pounding louder with every step.

As she neared the clearing, she spotted movement up ahead-several figures patrolling. Moonlake Pack warriors. Sara narrowed her eyes and slowed, her breath coming in controlled, silent puffs. They shouldn't be this far out unless they were looking for something-or someone.

She watched them for a moment, sizing up their numbers, and then without hesitation, she sprang into action. The first warrior didn't see her coming, and Sara delivered a swift blow to his ribs, knocking him off his feet. He let out a muffled groan as he collapsed. The others barely had time to react before she was on them, her fists and feet moving with deadly precision. She weaved through their attacks, striking with calculated force, her strength far beyond what they were prepared to face.

"You should know who I really am," Sara smiled to herself.

Within minutes, the warriors were sprawled on the ground, groaning in pain, but Sara didn't stick around to finish them off. She had no time for that. Something far more urgent was waiting for her.

She continued her way through the woods until she reached the meeting place. The moment she stepped into the building, her stomach dropped. There was no sign of Ella or Ryan. Just an eerie silence and the unmistakable signs of a struggle.

The earth was churned up, patches of dirt and broken branches scattered around. A few drops of blood dotted the ground, glistening darkly in the moonlight. Sara crouched, her fingers tracing the deep footprints left by what had to be a scuffle. She could almost feel the tension that had lingered here, the desperate fight that had taken place.

But where were they?

Her heart raced, and she stood, scanning the area once more, but nothing else was out of place-just the remnants of a battle that had ended too soon.

Ella and Ryan were gone.

She needed to return to the quarters as quickly as possible and inform the twins of the troubling news. Something was wrong-something had happened to Ella. Her pulse quickened as she hurried down the familiar path, each step filled with a growing sense of dread. Her heart felt heavy, and for the first time, a deep, unsettling fear took root inside her. It was unlike anything she had ever felt before.

Why hadn't Ella stayed home? She should have either remained safe or brought her along for protection. But now, Ella was gone, vanished without a trace, and no one had any idea where she might be.

Meanwhile, the twins, Tristan and Nathan, were patrolling the edge of the forest, their senses heightened as they moved silently through the undergrowth. The night was still, but there was a strange tension in the air, something unsettling just beneath the surface. For hours, they had been tracking the movements of

the rogues, but tonight, something was different.

Nathan paused, sniffing the air, his brow furrowing. "Do you feel that?" he murmured, his voice low but tense.

Tristan nodded, his sharp eyes scanning the darkness. "Yeah. The rogues aren't

acting right. It's almost like... they're being controlled."

Nathan frowned, sensing the same

eerie force lingering around them. The rogues had been acting erratically for days now, but tonight, it felt like something-or someone-was manipulating their every move. A dark, powerful energy seemed to be guiding them, something unnatural. They exchanged a glance, unspoken understanding passing between them. This wasn't a coincidence. The witch's magic, perhaps?

Just as the thought crossed Nathan's mind, a sudden, excruciating pain shot through his chest. He gasped, doubling over, his hand instinctively clutching his heart. At the same moment, Tristan let out a sharp breath, his face twisted in pain. It wasn't physical-it was something far worse.

"Mate..." Tristan rasped, his voice thick with panic.

Nathan's eyes widened as the realization sank in. The pain wasn't random-it was a signal, an instinctual warning that their mate, Ella, was in danger. The bond between them pulsed with agony, a desperate cry for help.

"We need to get back," Nathan said, his voice filled with urgency as he straightened up, still reeling from the pain. There was no time to waste.

Tristan was already moving, his eyes blazing with fury and fear. "Now."

Without another word, the twins bolted through the forest, their hearts pounding in sync with the rapid thrum of dread that gripped them. The force controlling the rogues suddenly felt insignificant compared to the overwhelming sense of danger surrounding Ella. Something had gone horribly wrong, and they were running out of time.

As they raced back to the Packhouse, one thought consumed them: finding Ella before it was too late.noveldrama

Only thoughts of Ella consumed their minds, their emotions a volatile mix of anger and fear that they struggled to control. The uncertainty gnawed at them, and they clung to a fragile hope that everything was alright and that Ella was safe.

But, the excruciating pain they felt was a clear indication that Ella was likely in grave danger, amplifying their worry and making every moment feel more torturous than the last.
