Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 579

Inside the room, Alicia leaned her ear against the door but could only faintly hear the conversation outside. All of a sudden, there was a knock on her door and she was even pushed over when it opened.

"Hubby, you guys are done talking?"

She held Frederick's hand and scrutinized him. Then she stuck her head out to look outside the room. She feared that they would once again quarrel with each other because of the slightest disagreement.

When Frederick spoke again, he sounded like a completely different person, "Yeah, let's go home!"

Frederick placed his hand around her waist and took the bag from her hand.

Right as they were leaving, Alicia waved at Nicholas who was seated on the sofa, "Nicholas, I'll be leaving now!"

"All right, remember to come over and dance whenever you're free!"Property © 2024 N0(v)elDrama.Org.

Looking back, Frederick glared at Nicholas before he left the room with Alicia in his arms. Behind him, Nicholas, who held the wine glass in his hand, was chuckling so hard that his body trembled slightly.

Alicia instantly heaved a sigh of relief as soon as they got into the car safely.

"Hubby, what did you say to my brother? Is Samuel going to be a trouble for us? How about I accompany him for dinner and apologize to him!"

Frederick turned around and clasped the back of Alicia's head while he lowered his head to give her a fierce kiss, "Absolutely not! You might as well forget about ever having this idea!"

"But...?"

"No buts! He's a nobody and I'll be able to handle him easily!" Frederick gently brushed Alicia's red lips with his rough fingertips and whispered, "If I can't even protect my own woman, then I don't deserve you at all!"

Frederick embraced Alicia and passionately pressed his lips against hers once again.

"Don't worry about it! There's nothing in this world that Mr. Nick and I can't solve together! You don't have to be afraid if you ever encounter these kinds of incidents again! People like Samuel typically bully the weak, but they're definitely afraid of the big bad. Trust me, they won't dare to lay a single finger on you! You can do as you please and I'll clean up your mess!"

D*mn Nicholas! If he hadn't told Alicia in advance, she probably would not have been this scared! As an owner of the nightclub, if Alicia was overwhelmed by such a minor problem like Samuel, wouldn't she constantly be an easy target then? It would've been better for her to step away if that was the case!

"All right!"

Alicia hugged him tightly as she leaned on his shoulder and said,

"Once Sebastian's concert is over and I've sought justice for my aunt, I can go back to being Alicia Blanchard and live a quiet life. By then, I won't have to show my face in public or dance anymore!"

She only had to endure for another week!

"Okay!"

Frederick affectionately stroked Alicia's hair as a light ripple became visible in his eyes. "By that time, we can finally be together in public again!" He thought.

All of the sudden, a clear scent drifted into Alicia's nose as soon as she arched in front of Frederick. She looked up and continuously rubbed her nose while sniffing.

"Rose, ylang-ylang and..."

Frederick pinched Alicia's nose and laughed, "Your sense of smell is really sharp, exactly like a puppy's!"

Alicia grinned as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Hubby, you're naughty! Confess now, which woman got close to you? It's impossible for you to hide from my nose, and a bath won't help you either!"

Frederick pulled Alicia into his arms and kissed her neck.

"Grandma was probably afraid that I would deprave after she saw the news, so she tricked me into going back to a blind date that she had arranged! But I don't think she knows that no one can save me except you, and no one can make me abandon myself to despair..."

Alicia's heart ached as soon as he mentioned Mrs. Clements and her expressions became slightly restrained, "How is Grandma doing?"

"Well, a lot has happened recently. I

have been unfilial, and I've made her worried! She has only ever scolded me twice. The first time was the day before our marriage. She thought was marrying someone else, and she felt unjust for you. The other time would be today, she arranged a blind date, as she wanted me to accept the truth and come out from despair! Unfortunately, she was angry and wouldn't listen to my explanation at that moment. She

didn't know that the apple of my eye

was still alive!"

It was only when he hugged her and felt her warmth and heartbeat every time that Frederick could truly tell that she was still alive. "You and Grandma are the most important people to me in this world!"

Alicia firmly held onto Frederick's shirt as she replied, "You're also the most important person to me in this world!"

As she leaned against his forehead, Alicia rubbed her face lightly like a spoiled child and said, "Hubby..."

Just then, Alicia's phone suddenly rang. She returned to her seat and answered the call as, "Hello? This is Misty speaking!"

The call came from the Eighth Casino. The person who called said Sebastian had returned, and he had cashed in numerous chips. They wanted to know how she wanted them to proceed. She didn't think that he would go back to the casino even though he had a concert coming up and he had also lost a big fortune.

"Don't hold back! Just let him lose!"

As soon as Alicia hung up, a thought flashed across Frederick's mind.

"Oh, yeah, I looked into the insurance matter you mentioned! They bought marriage insurance from an insurance company known as Super. At first glance, the insurance may seem to be effective, but in reality, it isn't and it's absolutely meaningless! However, the officials and the law aren't able to do anything about it since it involves a marriage. The insurance company also can only rely on marriage registration regulations. When the contract expires and the marriage is still intact, the money could only be drawn out after your aunt and Sebastian signed their names at the same time! Frankly, it's not hard for the insurance to be invalidated! As long as we can prove that their relationship was in a wreck, the insurance will immediately lapse. According to the insurance policy, 80% of the insured amount will be donated. As for the remaining 20%, after deducting the insurance fees, it'll be divided equally amongst the two of them. By then, Sebastian will only receive less than 10%, which is about three to four million dollars!" "Are you referring to evidence regarding his mistress and the child?" It should be sufficient as long as they provided the DNA report of the woman and her child.

Frederick shook his head and said,

"If his mistress refuses to admit the truth or she admits that she voluntarily seduced him, then the evidence will not be accepted!"

"So there's still nothing we can do about him?" That woman would definitely be on Sebastian's side! Moreover, they would receive such a huge sum

of money! Alicia's heart burned with rage as she clenched her fists.

"There is another way around this! But it may be slightly disrespectful to the dead!"

"What is it?" There was nothing left of Alicia's aunt, how could Frederick still be disrespectful to her?

"Suicide! We just need to prove that

one party committed suicide or the other party committed murder and not an accident. With these two methods, we can either blame their unstable marriage or mention that they argued. Both these methods will directly lead to the invalidation of this insurance! Regarding the Lovely Scent incident, I had my suspicions that it wasn't an accident. I'd even go as far as to say

n

that the main culprit could be Sebastian. But if he really cared about this insurance and he didn't force a divorce after so many years,

then it's highly unlikely that he was behind the accident. First of all, it was too risky for him. Secondly, he wasn't short of money before, and he hadn't been to the Eighth Casino yet. There was absolutely no reason for him to do this! Therefore, if it was an accident, wouldn't you most likely be the target? If so, if we do the latter, it wouldn't be easy for us to blame it on

Sebastian!" Frederick exclaimed.

He might even have an alibi to prove that he wasn't at the crime scene, they could only go with the former.

"Are you implying..." That they should forge evidence of suicide?

Frederick nodded.,

"As long as you're able to get hold of your aunt's handwriting or her voice to prove that it belongs to her, then it'll be possible for me to help you create

a suicide scene! With this, the insured money will be donated to charity in their names!"

"Will there be any risk that will implicate you?" Even though she didn't want Sebastian to get what he wished, yet she simply couldn't drag Frederick

down because of this b*stard.
