The next day when I woke up, I did all that I set my mind up to do for that whole day and then I realized that Alexa was not in the pack house. I went out to see if I could find her but she was nowhere in sight.

I was still deep in thought when I suddenly heard the howl of some of the Beta soldiers. I ran outside with a few of my maids. to know what was going on.

I was shocked when I saw Alexa looking very haggard and bruised, cradled in Dax’s-arms. Her maids was carried by two Betal soldiers. Dax’s expression was stone cold and furious and I was further shocked by the fact that he was with her right now.

I kept bagging as I was being dragged away. I was humiliated and reduced to absolutely nothing.

I was kept there without anything to eat or drink. I was scared for my child. I knew I had to protect him.
