Chapter 41 Playboy

"Girl, congratulations on your victory! You won the first round," Bianca Jones told Lora as they sat in their favorite eating place.

Lora smiled faintly. She remarked, "I did... it felt good to put Ivy in her place."

Bianca smiled and paused when the waiter brought their food and drinks. When he was done serving, she took out her phone and took pictures.

"This looks good, I need to post this on my ins-ta-gram since I'm this restaurant's brand ambassador," Bianca said and Lora chuckled.

Bianca was from a wealthy family but she wasn't interested in her family's business. She loved being a social media influencer, so she vlogged almost every detail of her life.

When Bianca finished taking pictures, she put her phone aside and remarked, "I loved seeing the news of Ivy's public apology. Her face looked like she had constipation with that fake smile of hers, haha!"

Lora nodded and replied in a low voice, her mind seeming to be wandering elsewhere, "Mmmm, that's true. She didn't expect to be ambushed like that but it serves her right for trying to harm me again."

"I'm so happy for you, my friend. You're able to stand up for yourself now. Ivy deserves everything she's going through right now and more," Bianca said, piercing her steak with a fork harshly.

She had always hated Ivy Williams with a passion. Ivy had destroyed her friend's marriage and went ahead to try and kill her six years ago. Bianca was happy to see Ivy get defeated.

"That's right... she's an evil woman and one day, everyone will know who she really is," Lora replied absentmindedly.

Bianca suddenly recalled something and banged her hand on the table excitedly. She exclaimed, "Oh my God! I almost forgot! You and Jason are now an item! And oh my... the way he confessed his feelings for you, so romantic... and the way you stood quietly waiting for him to finish and accept his proposal, that was very mindful, very ladylike, very demure."

Lora laughed out loud. She shook her head and replied, "There was nothing else I could do but wait for him to finish his confession and I believe he deserves a chance...."

However, her smile faded and she fell silent, Ryan's face flashing through her mind. He kissed her...

Bianca looked at Lora and studied her expression. She had noticed that Lora wasn't herself today. It was not like her to be so quiet. And it was strange for someone who just started a new relationship to look so unhappy.

"Lora, are you not feeling well? Or did something happen at work? You look like you have a lot on your mind," Bianca asked.

Lora looked at her friend and bit her lower lip. She finally confessed, "Ryan kissed me last night."

"What??" Bianca squealed, her eyes almost popping out of their sockets. "H-He kissed you?? Did you kiss him back?"

"No!" Lora quickly refused, her stomach fluttering at the memory. She frowned and said, "It was a forced kiss. Why would I respond?"

"Did you like it?" Bianca arched an eyebrow at her friend.

"Bee! My God! Why would I like it? I didn't!" Lora's eyes widened. "I want nothing to do with him, remember?"

Bianca furrowed her eyebrows. She remarked, "Why would he kiss you though? Does he know you're Larisa? Did you reveal your identity to him?"

Lora shook her head and took a sip of her cold drink. She had been wondering about it all night too... why did he kiss her? So passionately too... he had never kissed her like that when they were married.

"He doesn't know... and I've never told him who I really am," she replied.

"Do you think he's fallen in love with you or he kissed you because you look like Larisa?" Bianca asked. "He can't fall in love with me, Bee. He's always been in love with Ivy. And he can't kiss me because I look like my old self... he was never in love with me, so why would he want to kiss his late wife? I can count with my fingers on one hand the number of times we kissed in our marriage. Perhaps he's just a flirt," Lora said, her eyes turning cold.

"Then he's still a scumbag... anyway, you found someone better... he has no women around him and you will be his only one," Bianca stated. She looked at Lora and asked, "Will you introduce the twins to their father?"

Lora furrowed her eyebrows. She recalled how Ivy went to her office to confront her about her kids. There was no way she would let her kids have such an evil stepmother.

"I won't be entangled with Ryan anymore... I'll definitely live my life well from now on... I've moved on and so has he..." She replied airily.

Looking at the time, Lora said, "I have to get back to work, hun."

They soon parted ways and Bianca went into one of the stores at the mall.

Meanwhile, Adan Nicholson was at the same store with one of his many girlfriends. She was busy choosing almost every expensive branded outfit in the store when Adan saw Bianca walk into the store. He raised his eyebrows and approached her....

"Adan, where are you going?" The woman he was with asked but Adan ignored her and called out to

Bianca.

"Bianca Jones.... It's been a while," Adan remarked, a side smirk playing on his lips.

They never really interacted when Larisa was married to Ryan since Ryan wasn't in love with Larisa.

Bianca rolled her eyes when she saw the Moonstone City's manwhore. She looked behind her before turning to look at Adan and asked, "Are you talking to me? I hope not because I'm not interested in conversing with a playboy..." "A playboy?" Adan arched an eyebrow.
