Mate to a king

Chapter 22

Chapter 22

James.

"How the hell are you still alive?! I killed you!" I shouted, I just couldn't wrap my head around it. Property © NôvelDrama.Org.

One does not simply step up from the dead. Unless...

Those flipping hybrids. They all think they can waltz around like they own the world.

I was about to start speaking again when Aiden started walking out of my office and up the stairs to Blooms room!

Wait, If he is going up there then... HEAT!!

I ran as fast as possible up the stairs, past Aiden and that monster she calls a father.

Aiden came next, trying to push past me with his elbow.

He was no match for me however, as when I pushed him back he went tumbling back down the stairs.

That would have broken a bone or two.

"Bloom, where are you?"

I shouted loud as I approached our room.

The only response I heard was a groan. Hers.

I nearly broke the door down trying to enter. Walking in I heard the shower running.

"James, please, it hurts!!!!" I heard her voice out in pain, sounding like it was coming from the bathroom.

Aiden was now trying to open the door, I stood against it, screaming at him to leave.

"JAMES!!!" That's it!

~the next morning~

Bloom.

I woke up in mine and James's bed to notice that all the pain had gone.

All that was left was a slight pain in my legs.

That's not hard to decipher why.

I stretched only to have my arms blocked by a very hard wall. The wall soon to reveal itself as James.

My cheeks blushed a bright red.

"Hey, you feeling okay?" His husky morning voice, grumbled quietly.

This caused me to blush even deeper.

"Y...yes, I....I am fine," I stuttered.

He just chuckled at me.

I stepped out of bed, only to fall back down in pain.

Once again I tried, and again and again until I actually managed to get into the bathroom.

After showering, I walked to the wardrobe to get changed.

I noticed James had moved from his spot on the bed to the shower. I think he will be going to his office after to sort this whole Aiden and my father problem out.

James.

I walked in to my office with the biggest grin on my face. That only lasted a few seconds before I saw them.

Sitting in the sofa in the corner of my office, just lounging around.

I despise them and wish I could kill them straight away. Then that would involve having to find a new Alpha for Aiden's pack and well Bloom's fathers death. Not that she would care much.

"Ahh, look who we have here, The so called king. How you been doing?" Aiden said smugly.

I growled deeply, "shut you mouth before I sow you lips together," that threat was a very true one. If he didn't shut up, I really would.

That shut him up now didn't it!

I saw the 'man', Blooms father, smirk slightly. That was until he saw me looking.

"You can get rid of that smirk too before I wipe it off myself!" I am feeling unusually uptight today.

They both stood in front of me, hands behind their backs, heads down.

"So... you want to explain how you are still alive?!?" I demanded, I already knew that Aiden was a Hybrid, but how? That still doesn't explain how her father is still alive though, does it?

"Well, as you can tell, I am a Hybrid and her father is not. I saved him when he was on his death bed by giving him my blood for life again. This however, not turning him hybrid." Aiden replied smugly.

So if I can get my head around this, Aiden 'saved' Bloom's father by feeding him a bit of his blood but not killing him.

The part that doesn't make sense though, is why he didn't just kill Bloom's father, leave him for dead rather.

"Well that makes sense, but why didn't you just leave him to die?" I screamed, thinking part of it through thoroughly.

"Ah, well I feed him my blood everyday. If I wanted him to be hybrid anytime I could. I will make an army!" He laughed evilly.

The only other thing is that hybrids cannot create other hybrids... THAT'S IT, that's how I can bring him down. He thinks he can create them. Hybrids can't physically do that. If only he knew that.
