The door of the room was knocked, Blanca Roach was standing by the door, yanked it open and saw Charles White standing outside the door, and was instantly enraged.

“Sister-in-law.”

“Heh.”

Blanca Roach swept Winnie back and walked away with a sneer.

“You’ve done me in.” Winnie said accusingly to Charles White.

“So come and buy you dinner and make amends.” Charles White invited in a gentlemanly manner.

Winnie got her cell phone, and then the two of them went out together.

It was only their fourth encounter, which to a normal person would seem to be moving too fast, but for two people who each had ill intentions, the pace was just right.

When they got on the elevator, there were other people in the elevator and neither of them spoke.

When they got out of the main entrance of the office building, Charles White asked.

“Can you eat spicy food? There’s a good Hunan restaurant around here.”

“Not bad, last time I had dinner with Blanca, I saw one across the road.”

The restaurant Winnie was talking about was the same one Charles White was taking him to.

It wasn’t far to walk and talk, so Charles White didn’t bother to drive.

“No one in my family can eat spicy food, I’m the only one who likes it, how about you? Can you eat hemp?” Winnie looked at the seconds on the light across the street, two seconds to go.

“All okay, my whole family is more able to eat spicy people.” The light turns green and Charles White gives Winnie a gentle tug, “Let’s go.”

Charles White’s small, intentional gesture, which Winnie had noticed the first few times we met, was like he was treating her like an acquaintance.

Halfway across the sidewalk, there was a shrill sound of modified motorcycles coming from far away, more than one racing madly on the highway.

There was no intention of braking even though there was a sidewalk in front of them, and they were coming straight at Winnie!

It looked like it was coming to kill, and changed its path before it was about to hit.

It was one after the other swiftly swept by, driving a gust of wind that made people’s hair stand on end.

They are deliberately scaring pedestrians.

“I’m afraid you don’t want to live if you’re racing on the road.”

Charles White’s voice was calm, but Winnie stood in the middle of the sidewalk not knowing whether to walk or stop, after all, there are many similar cars behind.

The hand that was clenched in fear was suddenly held by a hand.

Surprised, Winnie looked back at Charles White beside her, only to see his face change.

“Watch out!”

The feeling of the wind sweeping around her body again, Winnie was protected by Charles White in his arms, and the two of them rolled twice on the ground.

It wasn’t until it stopped that Winnie reacted, witnessing the man in the black biker jacket jump out of the car while the motorcycle drove forward uncontrollably until it hit the guardrail and collapsed, wheels still spinning.

The crash then happened in a matter of moments.

“Uh …”

“How are you?” Winnie scrambled to get up from the ground.

Charles White reached for the back of his head and felt a handful of blood …

On this side of the office, Blanca Roach returned to her office from Winnie’s still furious, “Bang!” The door was slammed loudly.

Curtis Irwin, who was debriefing in his office, turned around subconsciously, clearly taken aback.

“Sorry, you guys go ahead.” Blanca Roach sneers, fetching herself a glass of water to drink.

Curtis Irwin looked back at Matthew Grant’s eyes to indicate that he did not need to avoid, and continued.

“Things have been arranged.”

“Be realistic.”

The words were addressed to Curtis Irwin, but Matthew Grant’s eyes were on Blanca Roach.

“Yes, the guys hired are professional riders, they’ll get the hang of it.”

The two men’s cryptic conversation caught Blanca Roach’s attention.

After Curtis Irwin left, Blanca Roach couldn’t help but ask, “What are you talking about? What are the hired riders going to do?”
