The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 271

Matthew's phone suddenly rang. He glanced at it. It was a call from Rachel. He accepted the call. "Hi, what is it?"

Rachel spoke in a lowered voice as well. "Come and take me home. Just say that my grandfather told me to go back."

Matthew had a general idea of what she meant.

He promptly turned left and headed for Wealthwave Group.

He parked the car in the basement and got out of the car to get Rachel. After taking a few steps, the thought of leaving Silas alone in the car continued to worry him. So, he said, "Come with me." "Alright," Silas responded readily.

The two headed up in an elevator.

In the elevator, Silas was curious about the reason Matthew had come there and asked, "Do you work at this company?"

Matthew grunted in response. Silas cleared his throat and asked, "I noticed you've pushed the button for the top floor. Are you perhaps the owner of this company?"

Based on Matthew's mannerisms and method of doing things, Silas believed he must be someone impressive.

Matthew shook his head. "You're talking about my boss."

Silas was somewhat disappointed. "You're the company's general manager?"

Matthew continued to shake his head. "I don't have the capacity for that. I'm a chauffeur here."

Silas froze and stayed stunned for a long while. He found that difficult to accept.

He had followed a chauffeur to his workplace. He thought that not only would people look down on him, but he would also have to be cautious. Otherwise, if he got into trouble, a chauffeur couldn't possibly get him out of it. Matthew was pleased with Silas's current state he had finally stopped talking.

The elevator arrived at the top floor. Matthew walked at the front, while Silas followed him closely.

When Silas noticed Matthew entering the president's office, he realized he probably shouldn't have come.

Regardless, he was already at the door, so he followed Matthew inside. It would be even more awkward if he stood at the door.

There were three people in the room.

Sara was drinking a cup of coffee on the couch. She looked a bit upset. A stack of documents was strewn across the coffee table. Rachel was in the executive chair, looking sullen. When she saw Matthew come in, her mood got much better. "What brings you here?" Matthew said with a smile, "Your grandfather asked me to take you home."

That was the excuse they had previously agreed on.

Rachel looked at Sara. "Ms. Clark, my grandfather wants me to go home. Why don't you get some rest? We'll talk about the search tomorrow."

Sara frowned. "Stay for a while longer. We must come up with a viable plan today. We've looked into every Sawyer Solomon in all of Lambda City. Why can't we find him?"

Rachel was troubled as well. They had combed through Lambda City, yet they hadn't found any useful information. "Has he left Lambda City?"

Sara fell silent. She had no idea how they could possibly find him if that were true.

While she was thinking, her phone suddenly rang. She immediately put it on speaker. "Hey, did you find anything?"

A man's voice came through the

Slight anger appeared on Sara's face. "Does he have any descendants?"

The man on the other end seemed to be flipping through documents. The sound of pages turning came through the phone incessantly.

Then, the man's voice
