The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 830

Holding his head, Benson staggered to his feet and glared at Matthew. "Do you realize who I am? I'm from Eastoria, so you've gotten yourself into serious trouble. Just you wait. This is going to be an international dispute. I'm calling the embassy. You're going to be in so much trouble."

As Benson threw out his threat, Matthew leaned down and picked up the broken chair leg before walking straight toward him.

Benson had only dialed two numbers when he saw Matthew coming over. In a panic, he yelled, "W-What do you think you're doing? Stop right there! I'm not Cafran but Eastorian. If you hit me, you'll regret it-"

The broken chair leg whistled through the air and slammed right into Benson's mouth.

Benson let out a piercing scream and collapsed. As he tried to get up and speak, he realized something was in his mouth. As he spat it out, blood along with some teeth hit the floor.

Wielding the broken chair leg, Matthew continued making his way toward Benson.

Blood filled Benson's mouth, and his face started twitching in pain. He was about Osay something when he saw Matthew closing in again, causing him to stagger back in panic.

He kept screaming, "No... Stay away..."noveldrama

Matthew kept walking toward Benson, closing the distance without hurrying. He looked like he didn't hear a word Benson said at all.

Benson backed into a wall with nowhere else to go. Matthew came closer without saying a word, but his presence alone was enough to make Benson's heart skip a beat.

"Don't come any closer. I'm sorry. I know I was wrong. I won't call the embassy. Spare me, please!"

Matthew approached Benson like a robot. He had no intention of talking and just wanted to beat him up.

Realizing begging didn't help, Benson turned and asked for help, "You've got to help me, Darius, Marilyn. I'm your older brother."

Marilyn looked the other way, acting like she didn't see anything.

Darius furrowed his brows, staying silent as if he were deep in thought. He didn't show any interest in helping.

Benson looked over at Tony. "Please ask him to stop, Uncle Tony. I realize my mistake now."

Tony was a little touched upon seeing Matthew intervene. After all, everyone was just trying to make money in this day and age.

Nobody wanted to get involved in their own problems, let alone someone else's. But Matthew actually stepped in for him.

Tony was really grateful in his heart. So when it came to Benson's cries for help, he acted like he didn't hear it. He pointed at Benson and shouted at Matthew, "Hit him! Beat him up to a pulp. End this ungrateful idiot."

Benson was taken aback and stared at Matthew as he walked closer. He suddenly dropped to his knees with a thud. "Stop! I know I've screwed up. I'm begging you. Don't hit me anymore, please."

The broken chair leg came down like a storm, hitting Benson so hard that he rolled on the ground. He screamed in pain louder and louder, as if he were an animal being slaughtered.

With a snap, the chair leg broke into two pieces.

Frowning, Matthew threw aside the busted chair leg he could barely hold. "Damn it! I should've just grabbed a cleaver."

Benson vaguely heard those words, then everything went dark as he passed out. Matthew snorted and came back to Tony's side.
