The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 843

Matthew stared at Tony in shock. "Do you know what will happen if you do that? You might even get killed for using yourself as bait!"

But Tony was very determined, and he said firmly, "That's what I'm trying to do. I don't care if it's the Eastorians or those ingrates who want to kill me, but they'll have to show up here if they want to kill me. When the time comes, you can catch them all in one go."

Matthew shook his head in disagreement, thinking that it wasn't a good idea. "No way! I can't risk putting you in danger."

Hearing that, Tony became even more resolute than ever. "We won't be able to catch them if we don't take the risk. Besides, you're from the country's medical sects, so round up your colleagues for a fight.

"You can rush out with your colleagues when our enemies try to kill me for the medical literature. I also have another request, and that is for you to never hold back. Just kill them if you can, and don't try to hold them captive."noveldrama

Matthew looked at Tony. He was faced with a pair of watery eyes that burned fiercely with killing intent. Seeing the hatred and tears on Tony's weathered face, Matthew's heart began to tremble.

He felt as if he was hit by a wave of emotions that surged over him and was entirely overwhelmed. Matthew was a doctor whose goal was to save as many people as he could, but here he was, being requested to kill others.

Still, Matthew replied without any hesitation, "Alright. That, I promise you!"

He had spoken in a sharp tone so cutting that it radiated a killing intent so strong no one could ignore it.

Meanwhile, another situation took place in a villa somewhere else.

Allen was staring at Darius with a sharp glare. "Where's the corpse? Didn't you say that my sister died at the cemetery? If so, why wasn't her corpse there when my men went over?"

Darius had tears streaming down his cheeks as he sobbed. "They must have carried her away to bury her. Oh, Karina! I didn't even get the chance to retrieve your body."

Upon hearing that, Allen tightened his grip on the knife and spat out coldly, "Remember, Darius, you owe me a person's life."

Darius wiped away his tears and took a peek at Allen, saying, "I would've died along with Karina if it wasn't to seek revenge for her. Just give me some time. I'll definitely come up with something!"

All of a sudden, his phone rang. When Darius fished his phone out, he saw Jay's number displayed on the screen. He instantly understood what was going on and said, "My Uncle Tony is calling me."

Hearing that, Allen said coldly, "Ask him where he is and help me seize him. If you do that, I won't pursue the matters regarding Karina's death."

Darius then nodded and said, "Alright. I'll take the call now."

Once he picked up the call, Darius tried to maintain his composure and greeted, "Hi, Uncle Tony."

Immediately, Tony chided aloud, "Bastard! Don't you dare call me Uncle Tony. I don't have an ingrate of a nephew like you."

Darius felt distressed at all the insults hurled at him. Not only did he have to bear Tony's scoldings now that his father and wife were dead, but he also had to bear the predatory gaze and pressure of Allen, who was standing next to him.

Darius felt as if he had hit rock bottom. He sighed and said, "Uncle Tony, just scold me all you want. But I know you've got some misunderstandings about me. You might not know this, but I've always wanted to bring you to Eastoria to live a better life. You're all alone, and you don't have any other family to take care of you even if you get sick.

"If you go on like this, you're going to end up like my dad when you pass away. Just come with me to Eastoria. I'll take care of you there, so why are you resisting so badly? Isn't it a good thing to be taken care of?"

Tony was stunned, and he asked with much suspicion, "Are you sure you're going to take care of me if I follow you there?"

The corner of Darius' lips upward. The biggest flaw Tony had was that he didn't have a wife or any kids, so Darius could take advantage of the fact that no one was supporting Tony to lure him out.

He said, "That's right. I really do want to take care of you there. I did ask my father to go over to Eastoria back then as well, but he refused. If he had just listened to me, he wouldn't have rotted away in that shabby house after he passed away."

Tony then came to a realization, saying, "Oh, I see. I misunderstood you. But you see, I can't do much either because I've been confined to my house. You know that young man next to me, right? He was sent here to keep an eye on me, and they won't let me go if I don't hand over the medical literature."

When Darius heard what Tony said, he got a little excited. Didn't that mean that Tony had the medical literature?

Then, Darius asked, "Where are you? I'll go over and save you."

Tony replied in a hushed tone, saying, "I'm at the old house... Okay, I gotta hang up. He's back..."

Right after that, Tony hung up the call. Then, Darius held onto his phone and turned to Allen, saying "Uncle Tony is living at the old house in Suncroft Village. But I must warn you, there's a very dangerous young man who practices martial arts keeping watch over him."

Upon hearing that, Allen sneered in disdain, "No big deal. Martial arts is all show, so there's no real danger to it. It's basically dancing! I can kill him without needing to unsheath my sword."
